That's why I cooled off of DT once EF revealed.

For the record we need more codes.

I've never thought signals and codes work. Either they are too obvious and the wolves will know or else they are too subtle and no one will know.

So JAG was a 1 in 12 shot huh? What were the other possibilities for a tie mechanic?

First the mechanic was random: It could have been No lynch, Both lynched, someone else with votes lynched, or someone without votes lynched.

If the third or fourth were the result, then it was also random who was the final result. I tried to hint that, then insinuate that, then narrate that, then say that, and in the end gave up and let you believe what you wanted to believe.

Really the tie thing was a throwaway thing to make less likely to want to tie since it had risks. Never even thought it would come up (which was a big mistake because then most of my major mechanics (what few there were) all collided on day one on my very first lynch. "That figures," I said.

I have often tried to hint at my role in the first couple posts of a game. I don't think anyone ever caught any of them. No attempt here, so no need to go back and look.

I think the day 1 hypnosis isn't a bad move. Frankly, I think if I was a wolf I would have suggested doing something similar. The village will chase its tail for days over a move trying to figure out why it makes sense. Sometimes it's better not to make sense. Really bad luck there though with the die roll.

I did'nt have my normal time to get into the game, and I'm actually surprised I didn't get more heat than I did. I didn't feel I was playing my normal villager game. but I guess Danny wasn't around to catch me at it ;-)

I did totally peg JAG, but I can't say I contributed much else this game useful. Sorry guys.

And the funny thing about the writeups was I couldn't start on them early. Every time I tried to start working on it early, the vote/NK would change so I just had to wait.

Luckily I had the whole weekend to plan out the finale...and organize the credit sequence. That really helped. At first the pictures were just visual flavor but then they became the driving force behind the whole story. Was definitely a fun exercise.

There is no such thing as hinting being a vanilla villager :P

It's part of my clever strategy to always make it to the end. Be worthless!

Didn't work for me.

Regarding the crack on Thomkal - I did follow it up with a comment to try to soften it, but looking back, it is kinda funny.

Oh and no hard feelings - I was just role playing the condemned man, er wolf.

CF - thanks for running the game. I thoroughly enjoyed your lynch write up.

Sure, dward! That's why it was so funny cause it was classic cause we've all been there before.

You get lynched, people apologize, you tell them to fluff off with their apology.
Such is the circle of werewolf life.

That's what I"m sayin'!

Hmmmm how WOULD you go about hinting that.

"Hi guys, I'm feeling like an extract today. Yeah, definitely an extract. Definitely.

I'm feeling very Neopolitan, but without the Chocolate and Strawberry."

Here you go, Jackal. Just for you. This will be your role next time.

You are Mowgli - You are an infant man-cub. You are a soft, mushy, weak bag of meat.

Powers:

You don't get a vote as you cannot speak.
You are severely allergic to teeth piercing your body.
You are tasty and attract both votes and night-kills.
