Interesting, I've got a theory on this as well. But I'm just a little bit worried about not being here and having it die with me.
You guys interested in me posting it, with the knowledge that there could be some risk if I'm close to on the right track? |

Well, it depends on your comfort level. I'd like to know, but it's honestly up to you.

1. Cronin is elemental
2. What roles would elementals know? Well, probably the warlock and the druid 3. Cronin said that he knows two roles, Gram and SnDvls 4. He protected SnDvls at the expense of Gram 5. He said that Gram is a demon and SnDvls is a human Theory - bad things happen if humans kill their druid. Or at least on this particular day, due to some oddities with the favors. Cronin wants to protect both of them, but the loss of multiple humans would have moved demon victory conditions dangerously close. And the elementals don't win if demons win, they win if their undetermined goals are met. Perhaps they are tied to total number of sacrifices received, or number of correct sacrifices. Well, the sacrifices end if one side is wiped out. This is all complete guesswork. But that is how my mind is trying to construct the limited information that I have. |

Oooh. The correct number of sacrifices is an interesting thought.

I agree with all of this, but I think my theory could apply here too. If Cronin is an elemental prehaps they rotate protecting the druid/warlock and it was pre-determined they were protecting Gram that day. He saw that Sun was the lynch that day, and decided to try and steer it toward Gram, hoping we would think Gram was our warlock(I assume that is the humans sacrifice guy) for some reason. The way I see it now is that if this is true, both will probably be dead within a few days now. Otherwise it makes no sense for an elemental to out one of the guys that can sacrifice, at the expense of another one. That is where I'm lost at right now.

I got something I feel a little more comfortable discussing without possibly feeling the wrath of the elementals. I remember someone brought up an assassin type role earlier(days ago?). What was the basis for thinking we have an assassin on the human side? Why did people seem to think he had multiple kills? And if he did infact exist what direction, if any, do you expect him to go tonight?
I've missed out on this game for a while now, I need to get caught back up on all the past dicussion that went on.

Death by poison sounds like assassin to me.
Death by demon = mauling. Death by elemental = fire and lightning. Death by assassin = poison Based on other games, I don't think it would be a multi-use power. |

But if the assassin still had attempts left, then I would probably want him to work off of my no-trust list, factoring in the role reveals over the last day or so into their own thinking.
Ardent - ??? SnDvls - purported minstrel (random raise dead) Pass - ??? Path - tie-breaker? Gram - ???, protected by elementals today Taz - tie-breaker? Declared first, says that Schmidty may have been as well Barkeep - purported priest (select the raise dead option) A druid and a warlock are in this group. I think there are two more demons in this list. Trusted Dubb - reasons not disclosed Cronin - think I've been pretty clear on him WVU - demonstrated tie-breaking power, "grizzled soldier", separate roll from Taz/Path tie-break? Dac - elemental Blade - pretty sure he is Duke, but not 100% Me - known human (well, I know it) |

OK, Hoops without asking you to reveal your role, are you 100% sure through and through Cronin is on the up and up and an elemental, b/c I still have a fishy feeling about him.
Is it too much of a stretch that Sun and Cronin are both demons, Sun is the druid and told them he didn't recieve favor today. So Cronin, figuring he has some trust, throws suspecion on Gram figuring he is an easy target. Gram was randomly protected, and it infact bought them an extra day. In this theory when we go to lynch Gram, we'll learn he was our warlock.

Explaining the bottom groups...if Sndvls and barkeep perform their roles I'll believe them more. I'm tempted to move dubb into that group based on hoops, who I believe to be good as well.
Pass, Path...I don't know much on...and haven't caught up on. Gramm...no trust at all. I mean, he really hasn't given reason to be trusted.

Why does Taz make the cut, but not path? Path is more credible since he's the onel claiming to currently be able to break ties.

But I don't know his motivations. In general, I'm not inclined to think that he is doing a razzle-dazzle on us because it is inconsistent with his play in previous games.

My list is very general and far from flawless. Taz is cleared on my list as a human or elemental because IMO he's been helpful. On the ball and seems to have our best interests in mind. Path, again, I'm relying on my lack of knowledge. I didn't know he claimed he can break ties. My fear is that I've got at least one person in the wrong group. I've been wrong so far. I thought Saldana might be bad (based on his story, it seemed a little inconclusive), I had a little notion that king may have been playing the quiet game as well. I was after St.cronin as well, because of Saldana, but now I feel extremely secure with him. Take my 2 cents for what it's worth.

I'm now completely convinced in Cronin, but his motivations scare me. It makes no sense to for an elemental with no interest in the humans or demons other than the warlord/druid, to push the vote away from the warlord onto the druid just b/c he was protected by them. Something seems fishy with the Sun/Gram situation. Gram was too easy a target, while I don't know why an elemental would want to save Sun, unless they had a vested interest in there being no kill during the day today for reason and needed the person they were protecting to be the target(warlord/druid or not). And I tend to believe Gramm is neither the warlord or druid, b/c like I said, all outting him would do for Cronin is lock in the fact his sacrifices will be coming to an end.
B/C one way or the other, I don't see Gramm getting past the demons if he is a human, or us if he is a demon, the rest of the game.

What a night. Let's start from the top, shall we?
At around 10pm, you are all awoken by a scream. A very naked, but very much ALIVE Kingfc has come staggering out of the graveyard. He is confused, he is woozy, but he is alive. The gods have granted him life! Not an hour later, it happens again. What in the holy hells is going on? The gods have seen fit to return not one, but two people frmo the dead! Saldana has returned from the grave! Praise be to the gods! A few hours later, it becomes quite obvious no one is getting any sleep tonight. A god-awful cry of pain courses through the courtyard, and you see a cloaked figure withdrawing from SnDvls his throat cut and the life leaving him. But while life may be leaving him, his soul is going elsewhere. In his last moments, a dark demonic force materializes and wrenches SnDvls's black soul from his body, fulfilling the unholy pact which he had obviously made. His killer however, has slipped away into the shadows. The sun rises about the same time as you smell something...bad. Yep. You thought the trout smelled bad, that's nothing compared to the damn Squid that has been sacrificed today. And let me tell you, that sucker is colossal. Not to be outdone, the sacrifice of the squid is met with Yet Another Yak (tm). This one is just as diseased, just as mountable, and just as dead. Good thing too. Noone is really sure what would happen if there was a live Squid and a live Yak running around. You all start the day with an immediate trip to the tavern. DAY 4 DEADLINE - 9pm Tuesday Active List ----------- 1 Ardent Enthusiast 2 Blade6119 3 Schmidty, Human, Lynched Day 1 4 Dacman (Elemental) 5 Hoopsguy 6 SnDvls, Demon, Throat Slit Night 3 7 Passacaglia 8 Path12 9 St.Cronin 10 Grammaticus 11 TazFTW 12 Saldana, Human, Murdered Night 2, Resurrected 13 WVUFAN 14 Kingfc22, Human, Poisoned in his Sleep Night 2, Resurrected 15 Barkeep49 16 dubb93 |

, i see no reason to keep my role under wraps anymore. I am the thief. I notice everything that happens to me at night b/c I don't sleep(that is how I felt the presence of the seer earlier in the game). I also have a 1 time chance to kill someone, that is now done. Last night I killed SNDVLS b/c Cronin's story did not make sense. I actually found him not in his room, but standing watch for someone doing a sacrifice, that is where I slit his throat.

Well, someone wasted a scan. I hope you're happy. Now someone else knows my fairly useless role. I would have much rather have you scan...say, Grammaticus, since I don't trust him.
Regardless, I just moved way up on someone's trust list. Such a waste, though.
