Yes, I was waiting until I won my bet tonight to see what I ended up with, I bet McKerney and now have a total of $1750.

why would he do that? It would be killing himself as well when we found out he was lying by lynching you

But let's work this out, without the accusation that we're all "being played" -- what's the motivation for JAG to accuse you like this, when there's already a lot of suspicion on you, and not much on him?

I'm not sure it's a great idea to reveal how much I have, wouldn't that make me a target for wolves? They get my money if they drill me, do they not? I'm sure I'm a prime target after revealing a winning bet. I didn't have much before I won that bet, let's put it that way.

And along with that, if it's less than $1000 (which it sounds like you're saying it is), I'd like to know why.

He never said that. He and tyketime have been continually dodging my questions about their money, and haven't said ANYTHING about what they spent money on, or if they spent any at all. But in different ways -- tyketime has just been pretending I never asked him, while cougarfreak has been giving fake answers every time. |

What exactly has been fake? I told you what I just won. I never said what I had before, only that I had lost on a bid the night before. I did hit on the escort service earlier in the week, for moderate amount.

Not true. CR's reveal came well into the day, and there were two people who voted for someone other than you or JAG. Well, either one or two, but I think two. Personally, I don't buy that the Vampiros would be playing for a minor victory. Their win condition is to beat up on everyone but them. |

What's been fake has been the fact that your "answers" to my questions haven't been answering what I've been asking. I wanted to know how much money you had this morning, before this voting and betting just happened, and if it was less than $1000, why. Thanks for the info on the escort service, that helps. Do you remember which day you bought it, and who you used it on, and how much you bid on it? |

It was revealed in thread on D3, hoops posted that he had the starting $1,000. In case those were wondering, I went back to get my full list of evidence why I thought Sal was presumably the last member of the Lupino family and why I decided to send Knuckles after him: 1. D1 he voted Lathum, claimed it was a joke and switched with six minutes to go after it was apparent Lathum was not going to be voted out. He bet on Jackal that day (who never sniffed a vote), but voting for Lathum would have certainly made sense in the context that it would have made money for his teammates Crimson Fox and DT, who both bet on Lathum. Other than that, the vote can't be explained in logical terms since a Lathum lynch was likely to have made money for wolves as was stated a few times earlier in the day. 2. D2 he cast doubt on the late DT run (who turned out to be a wolf running against a seer scanned villager DV and now dead villagers in PF and Lathum). 3. After the D2 lynch, he posts: Quote:
Possibly trying to get information for later use or cast suspicion on whoever steps forward since he would know at least his own mobster group had nothing to do with it. 4. After hoops (now a known villager) revealed his role and ability, saldana immediately cast doubt on it and tried to drum up suspicion on hoops (and then voted him D3). 5. Post 785 he adds doubts about Jackal to the mix, claiming he should've scanned hoops instead of DV, when I thought a DV scan was much more logical from a villager point of view to bring clarity to the D1 + D2 voting. 6. His response to me for post 940, when I asked why he chose to target tyketime instead of the other UTR players (cougarfreak, Zinto, DT), he failed to give an opinion on DT. In combination with 2. above, that is what led me to deduce they were on the same side. 7. In general he hasn't provided any useful analysis or information that has led to players being cleared or wolves being found. If I took any of these alone, I could pretty easily make an argument the other way. But when I look at the sum total of his work in the thread, I thought the case for him being a wolf was a much more compeling argument than taking a stab in the dark at players I lumped into mostly the same category (tyketime, Zinto, cougarfreak). |

I'm out until probably middle evening tonight. No update is going to keep me wondering all day. No access at school, and then I'm taking my kids to the park to enjoy an afternoon of unseasonably warm weather here in NKY.

It's a habit now. As soon as you wake in the morning you flip on the TV to see if there's any bad news. It doesn't take anything to find it today, every station is buzzing with the story: two murders in Sin City last night.
Your friend, Mauboy1 was found not 50 feet away from the casino doors, his throat slashed and his pockets turned out. It seems Mauboy1 was just a Resident of Vegas like the rest of you, though you notice he's wearing a brand new wedding ring. He was also a Spouse. The bigger story is the shooting at the Palm Leaves Hotel. Saldana was found in bed, naked, with a bullet placed in the back of his head. The authorities say this was a professional hit, a mob hit. And indeed, evidence on the scene suggests that Saldana was indeed a mobster, a member of the Vampiri family. It's never a quiet night in Vegas. Last edited by Autumn : 02-17-2011 at 09:19 AM. |

Edited to note that Mauboy1 was also a Spouse. He had the additional victory condition of having to make it to the end of the game with his Spouse alive. He failed. ;-)

At first glance, I'm having a hard time understanding why the last Lupini would go this route.

The spouses could communicate. Goodbye, my trusting spouse, mauboy1. So I miss out on that win condition. I scanned Pass last night, and he's good. So get off his back, cougar. I think it's time we really crunch those vote numbers. I think it's obvious that saldana was the victim of the new crazy hit guy. It also proves without a doubt that we have at least three wolves per family, since a member of the Lupino family must still be alive. Also, four each is very unlikely for balance purposes, so I am confident there are only two wolves (one from each family) left alive. Glad I didn't scan sal today. I would like to know who won the betting parlor from yesterday.

Dude, you were the Casino Owner and a Spouse? And I'm bumpkin number four? What a.....I don't know what!
Waste of a scan IMO. But I'll be the first to note that the crooked cop could have made someone a cunning, so the scan doesn't mean much. But you guys already knew I was a villager, so it's all moot. |

I do think 4 each is a possibility, though. Especially since the two teams aren't helping each other at all. For one, they're killing each other (hi sal!), and also, the other wolf team counts as a villager for their win purposes. So even if each wolf team has 2 left, they're down 7-2 at this point. I'm not sure if that means anything, but just IMO again.

I was a spouse because I bought the wedding chapel service on Day Three. I could PM with mauboy1 (who I chose). The chapel was bought Day Two as well, so there's another married couple out there. I don't consider the scan to be a waste. We had to know. I was fairly certain you were a villager, but I didn't want you to become a talking point when we can concentrate on the remaining uncleareds.

Good call JAG -- couldn't he get someone in or out of trouble? I guess getting someone out of trouble would be a cunning power, and getting someone IN trouble would be...killing them?

You may bid on the following services on Day 6:
Tank Wallace, Professional Bodyguard - hire Tank for protection Mario Juarez, Private Investigator - Mario will get the dirt on anyone you want Speedeez Courier Service - you need to send a message, Speedeez will get it there Black Market Services - "Crazy Legs" Louie - Maybe he's not as professional as Knuckles was, but he'll do any hit Lefty Fingers, Acquisitions - Lefty's trying to keep a lower profile but he'll still do a job or two with the right encouragement |

I'm not so sure. I could see each wolf team having a special kill ability, being mobsters as they are.
