I was going to suggest velcro. Seems easier than duct tape, plus you can just toss them against the wall.

In the sky above the labyrinth a giant chamber swirls into view. The chamber is shaped like the jaw of some unknown creature and within stands RendeR.
As soon as he is done singing, the Jester appears. "Quite nice, quite nice. I had a pet dragon once. After some.. shall we say 'unfortunate' incidents, he had to be disposed of. I thought I'd call him back for some fun. You chose.. poorly." The Jester disappears. RendeR braces himself. Far in the distance a mighty roar is unleashed that shakes the very foundations of the labyrinth. The dragon takes its time approaching. It is a massive beast, a shade of the deepest blood red. Finally it reaches RendeR and flies above him in a circle, marking its prey. The dragon dives and unleashes a ball of flame from its mouth. RendeR tumbles out of the way, his clothing singed. Another ball of flame follows. RendeR ducks behind a jagged piece of stone, which heats almost to the point of melting before the fire bursts cease. With an impatient snort the dragon claws at the rock, shattering it, and sending RendeR flying into a wall. The Jester's eerie laughter echoes momentarily. RendeR, bloody and bruised, looks at the wall he has forcefully been rested upon. There seem to be footholes. With all the energy he can muster, he begins climbing. The dragon circles overhead, toying with him. The Jester appears beside RendeR and drops a smooth, tiny blade, then winks at him before disappearing once more. The dragon swoops down, making an approach. Following another roar, it spits a ball of fire directly at RendeR. He jumps, and is propelled by the explosion behind him when the fire hits the wall. As he soars through the air the dragon moves in closer and tries to catch RendeR in its mouth, but fails. RendeR drops, fast, but lands atop the dragon's back. The dragon speeds skyward, taking RendeR far above the labyrinth. RendeR looks around, trying to find a weak spot in the scales. Success. There appears to be a small break right at the top of the dragon's head. With the dragon now doing barrel rolls, RendeR holds on tight and jams the blade into its head. The dragon wails in fury, then begins to drop. It smashes on the ground, knocking most of you off your feet. RendeR is thrown into the wall again as the dragon makes impact - and there he lays, unconscious. Last edited by The Jackal : 08-08-2008 at 11:03 AM. |

Just a few minutes after the show, the Jester appears above all of you.
"Hope you enjoyed the show! I certainly did. What a -pathetic- dragon. By the way, Barkeep49 is dead, the Ancients have struck again." Barkeep49 was the Marine! |

since abe told me about the raptors i have thought that one of them is likely bad - i think that if we cross-reference that with looking at traditional voting pattern analysis than yeah, we might have something to go on

I've been lurking because I've been in several school meetings. From my guesses, the marine was probably some sort of bodyguard. I am tempted to agree with DT regarding the raptors, particularly since none were night-killed. BK was an interesting kill choice since he had some suspicion on him anyway from Claph. Do we assume that the dragon that got killed is Claph?
Also, I've found a weapon in the labyrinth and will attempt to acquire it in tonight's move. |

Nevermind on the Claph question, after seeing the front page, it looks like he is still alive as well.

I am afraid that I will be leaving for the weekend pretty soon So I need to make my vote soon. I am not at all sure who to go after there. My first thought is to not vote for clap. and my reasoning is this. I don't know how Render came up with his names, but I don't believe it is a list of the wolves. That seems to make things to pat. And of course there is the other reason, I know that the list is not totally accurate if it was meant to be a wolf list...At least one is not a wolf. Now I realize that only the wolfs and clap (assuming he isn't a wolf) really knows that. So if anyone has anybody they would like to champion as a lynch victem, I am all for it.

I don't know if I'll be able to use it with just a half, but it can't hurt. Here's the deal. I have the ability (some undefined "chance") to kill the minotaur and that is my primary goal (getting to the middle is secondary for me). I know the weapon will help from when I picked up the back half. And I sense the minotaur is close to where I'm at........

Well here we go. I think I shall
Vote Telle The reason is of the people that we have no idea who they are, Telle is one of the quieter ones. I realize I also fall in that same category and will get even quieter. So I will say what Iam, but wont reveal my power just yet. |

I'll explain my thought process. Even IF Path is a wolf, the fact that we need somebody to kill the minotaur means that this increases our chances. IF I'm wrong or this screws us in some way, than lynch me.

imma look back and see where the votes fell last night to see who to vote for when I get home I guess. but like i said - first choice would be either pass (who voted no lynch) or someone who stayed on abe. purely for occam's razor type reasons, nothing to do with being irritated for pass voting no lynch. Think there's probably one wolf who voted Tyrith last night and one who stayed off of him.
as for what i found - it may be useful at some point to someone out to kill the minotaur (not the other half of the spear though) |

"To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune Or to take arms against a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them. To die, to sleep— No more—and by a sleep to say we end The heartache, and the thousand natural shocks That flesh is heir to. 'tis a consummation Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep— To sleep—perchance to dream. Ay, there's the rub! For in that sleep of death what dreams may come, When we have shuffled off this mortal coil, Must give us pause—there's the respect That makes calamity of so long life. For who would bear the whips and scorns of time, The oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely, The pangs of disprized love, the law's delay, The insolence of office, and the spurns That patient merit of the unworthy takes, When he himself might his quietus make With a bare bodkin? Who would fardels bear, To grunt and sweat under a weary life, But that the dread of something after death The undiscover'd country, from whose bourn No traveller returns, puzzles the will, And makes us rather bear those ills we have Than fly to others that we know not of? Thus conscience does make cowards of us all, And thus the native hue of resolution Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought, And enterprises of great pitch and moment With this regard their currents turn awry And lose the name of action. Soft you now! The fair Ophelia! Nymph, in thy orisons Be all my sins remembered." |
