Ok, I'm home again. I'm in the middle of cooking dinner, but expect the results in about a half an hour.
Thanks for your patience.

You know, i wouldnt have been so into you if you hadnt made the one comment about wanting to be tested after WVU and myself...that was a killer for me...if you truly are good, bodyguard gets to have some fun tonight playing chess with the others. Who to guard tonight, as im assuming he cant guard back-to-back.
Either way, productive vote if you ask me on the assumption cronin was good, which i dont know. This game went to hell today, and im sooo confused with soo many suspects my head hurts...damn you and your reveal CW

You all gather for the inevitable debate about who should be tested yet again. At first, there is a lot of heated conversation between Raiders Army and Blade. A few of you throw your two cents in here and there, and the suspicion is starting to swing toward Raiders Army. Before the arguments get out of hand, and RA is condemned, Coffee Warlord stands up.
"Look, I'm a geneticist, and I've been testing people at night as often as I can. Raiders Army was my last subject. He is totally and utterly clean." Some of you take Coffee Warlord's word at face value, and some of you are beyond suspicious. "If you really ARE telling the truth, then you won't be afraid to take the test, and then we can be sure that you and RA are telling the truth.", bellows Blade. The majority of you give this idea support, and force Coffee Warlord to the table. "What an unbelievable waste of time. Why don't we just give up right now?", Coffee Warlord sullenly utters. Coffee Warlord sits down at the table, goes through the now familiar motions, and plunges the hot wire into the blood. A sizzling sound faintly touches your ears, but nothing else happens and everyone is ready to act.......... Finally, a tiny wisp of steam slowly rises from the dish, and everyone breathes a sigh of relief. Coffee Warlord is not a Thing.

Fuck again. I wish I could have stuck around for another 10 minutes or so but I had a meeting that was starting. I couldn't find another vote though that I thought would be any better.
CW, if wrong, I apologize.

I'm currently strongly considering looking at Dubb or St.Cronin.

Coffee: I think publicly announcing who you're going to scan is a terrible idea and would urge you not to do it. Simply because it opens up another "obvious" conversion target. Now, if 9 AM eastern comes around and results aren't up? That might be an OK time to reveal in advance who you scanned.
That said, unless you're going to announce a shitface, I'm not sure that your scan will ahve any crediblity tomorrow. If it's a shitface result then I think you'd get some possible respect. |

Would help to know what order your scan and the conversion are processed - yesterday I expected them to go after a low-post player to avoid the bodyguard. Tonight I think it is pretty wide open, as there is a good chance the bodyguard is stuck to you like glue.
I'm okay with wherever you want to go with your scan. It is almost inevitably going to be heated tomorrow no matter who it is an what the result is, so just take your best shot and we'll try to figure it out. |

CW posted that he had asked Schmidty about the order and the scan comes before the conversion. With CW checking out I would think we'd have to believe that in terms of the order of things. |

None of the major candidates were people who I wanted to vote for and as I was the last to vote (2 hours before the deadline), I voted for the one I thought would be most helpful to come back Scientist. By the posibility of a group moving to someone I could get behind came, it was too late. CW had a 6-4 majority over Dubb, so even if I moved CW would still be tested. All it would've done was create the possibility of someone voting for dubb right at the buzzer and causing a tie. |

I'm changing the Night Action deadline to 11 AM EST since I generally don't wake up until 8-9 AM PST. Just a heads up.

Sorry if this has been touched on and I missed it, but what are the terms for a win here? We need to eradicate all the Things, I presume, but what do the Things need to do? Get an even number probably?
I'm thinking that we are still in decent shape here, since a test does not kill a wrongly accused and lessen the overall pool and we have already presumably gotten two of the Things. So, right now it is probably something like 13-2. Does anyone think there is any chance of them converting more than one person a night? I guess maybe CW can get infected while scanning? |

Thanks for the clarification on the scan order, guys. In that case, publishing your intended scan before crashing for the evening is a terrible idea. Glad I could provide so much value here :o

Ok so somoene with knowledge of the movie would have to answer this: But do the shitfaces communicate with each other?
As I see it the shitfaces will be virtually unbeatable come a time when they get 4 as we we have to hit 2 of them in a day in order just to keep pace. The odds of doing this on back to back days is slim. So to balance this out I am wondering if the shitfaces don't know who each other are. This would change the dynamics, and has been used as a mechanism in WW games before. In this case it could work especially well as the shitfaces "vote" on who to convert. This would make the sense of paronia, which Schmidty seems to cherish, equally a part of the shitfaces side. |
