Baylor should have gone for it there. Big 12 putting in a call to punt.

These guys calling this TCU game for Fox are a little too excited about everything. It almost feels like a satirical skit.

That Michigan receiver could have walked in the end zone. I think kicking is the right move.

Oh come on. Someone threw a pop-tart one week. The "fight" was one angry rival upset at being routed. Most of the Michigan players were nowhere near the scene.

Only someone with an agenda would say that one player, out of pads and rehabbing a knee reconstruction and another player who gets dressed early because his dad travels hundreds of miles to see him and has to get back to work were involved in any kind of "fight" out there.

For decades, we see teams waiting at the tunnel in and out of halftime in many locations. It's not an issue, except for twitchy journalists who need clicks.

Right... it's the biased national reporters with the agenda, not you. I didn't know that a sideline reporter generated clicks. Do they get paid more if abc.com gets more click following the report?

From a statistical perspective, just another close game - you'd think Michigan was likely to win. Just not dominating like every other game has been. But it didn't pass the eye test.

Hopefully, they get some players back for practice this week. Corum in particular, but the offensive line is banged up as well, and their one reliable WR, Bell, wasn't in at the end of the game, either.

That was as lucky a win as they hardly ever come. Can't drop the passes they did, esp. on touchdowns, and win very often.

Strengthens my thought that it will even out against Ohio State. I'm curious to see if this is a peak year for Illinois or if they can build on this. They've lost three in a row, but I think this game showed they are better than that.

I can't believe the kickoff on the UK UGA game. What a joke. Dude didn't give a fair catch signal under any reasonable interpretation. The ball bounced and he was reacting, trying to move and his arm lifted slightly. UK gonna get killed but that's just an inexcusable call - upheld on replay no less. What a clown show.

It's remarkable to me just how much Bielema, in only a year-plus, has been able to do to turn the mess Lovie Smith made into a pretty good replica of the solid Wisconsin teams that could go anywhere and dictate a game. What will he do when he gets his recruits into the lineup?

The training staff has a lot of work to do this week for Michigan. Starting with Corum, but several other players as well. I've thought McCarthy at quarterback has been very poised all season long, but on that final drive, with the game on the line for the first time all year, he made big mistakes on almost every play. That might be more concerning than anything else, because a game-opening touchdown and four field goals isn't going to beat Ohio State.

I'm torn between thinking Freeman/Rees etc have improved markedly and done a good job coaching, and just thinking my god how bad is the ACC. Still think Buchner going down and being forced to play Pyne was better for the way this team should play, even if that meant we didn't have a playoff ceiling this year, we'll see what happens with that in the offseason & next summer.

The ACC is garbage, but I think next weekends game will tell you where they really are, although the QB situation definitely hurts them

Levis is so overrated. Eventually they'll get a few 3 and outs, the D will break and it'll get out of hand.

9-0 at half. I said yesterday that I thought this would be a 17-6 game. My prediction is looking pretty good. Georgia is not used to playing in the cold, and Kentucky has a chip on its shoulder after last week.

Everyone has an off day, but I can't remember a weekend this late in the year when none of the top teams looked particularly impressive. Georgia doing better than any of the others.

I give UK's D credit for showing up. They've done enough so far that this should be a much more competitive score.

That was an interesting no call in UGA-UK game. Not that it would have probably mattered much.

This has been UK's season in a nutshell - with a bit of officiating incompetency thrown in for good measure.

It was a horseshit call that they fixed. Dude got shoved to the ground as the QB was throwing it and they tried to call grounding. Total incompetence, not sure how or why someone figured out it was so bad they just reversed it on their own.

Another shitty call on the kick catch interference except it benefitted UK.

Receiver was not attempting to field the punt. He had already decided to let it go and was starting to block the guy who "interfered" with him.

That was a weird turnover. The Old Miss RB like just dropped the hand-off.

EDIT: Nice Hog TD in our 2nd series, up 7-0. QB KJ Jefferson looks as if he is passing & running well.

Tennessee continuing the theme of top ... 5 teams not bringing their best today.

Tennessee chances of making the playoffs going bye-bye. Will there be even 2 SEC teams in the playoffs?
