OK - I had been hoping for some sort of confirmation from the night phase whether Lathum was good or bad. I agree that Lathum was giving the vibe of a disinterested villager but to be honest I could just as easily read that as him being a disinterested wolf.

If we only have one kill tonight then it means we're on the right track or that we're well and truly screwed. If we think Lathum is Freeze then I would look at DT because thinking the current version of Lathum is going to have a huge impact on your team is pretty old-school thinking - I doubt many who have played a lot recently would think that way. DT being Two-Face would actually explain why Chief has been left alone. DT would be doubtful that Chief wouldn't push forward that idea when someone had vote/unvoted DT on day one.

Mau, it doesn't matter who I'm scanning - we looking for different things anyway. Unless you want to completely clear someone, admittedly not a bad idea. I'm trying to figure out whether announcing my scan target now is a good or bad move. Generally I think you could do worse then look at DT or NTN but I'm not saying that I'm scanning them.

Further along my increasing weekend fueled tunnel-vision on DT - voting mau might be his way of showing that he's not paying attention, hoping to gain some leeway because of Chief's theory that Two-Face isn't going to be completely out of it. Also I've never seen DT post so little in a game.

I should probably be scanning after your scans - starting with your N0 scan and so on... I wouldn't be able to find Two Face this way but I'd be able to find the only supervillians that can kill me.

I don't think you have time for that mau - I'm actually cooling to the NTN/DT thing AND to Lathum being a wolf. I'm thinking more along the lines of Saldana or SnDvls to be honest.

And you don't need to scan Zinto. Or Hoops.

If you get the chance try to be a bit less cryptic before the night phase mau. I'm not convinced we've lynched Freeze, in fact I'm drifting away from that view point. I keep pinging back and forth between players. But DT's lack of, well, anything pretty much makes me think that he's bad in some way. I don't think I'll use my scan on him though because I think it's more likely he's Two-Face than anything else. Could be deranged though, I guess.

Gah! I hate being a seer.

So I'm wondering if Two-Face was smarter than we're crediting. Taking out Hoops and then, I guess, Danny but hitting someone less high-profile in the middle and getting it right. You'd have to think that it was someone who had at least made some sort of impression, someone like Saldana, SnDvls or Tyrith. I'm trying to think how I would play it if I was Two-Face but that really doesn't help.

I don't buy the theory that Two-Face has to have been fairly present, to be honest.

And we either have Two-Face + 2 deranged or Two-Face, Freeze + 2 deranged here.

That's (normally) pretty good werewolf odds of 33-44% of hitting a baddy. And I have no idea about any of them.

Oh well, times running out. I'll have to see if I get the chance to contribute more on Sunday and Monday - can't be bothered to look through each person's posts at this stage.

This is Gotham Live with late breaking news. Another shooting rocks Gotham, a vicious murder. Police say the killer known as Two Face is suspected in the brutal slaying. The victim, a Gotham citizen known only at this point as Narcizo. Police say no more information can be given at this time about the victim. Investigations of the victims has been forestalled while all officers are on the case of patrolling the streets or hunting for Gotham's killers. We can only hope that the killers are caught before there are any more deaths.

Narcizo was killed. Day 5 ends Monday 10 pm EST.

We are in trouble if it was a conversion and not a block. Chief, I wouldn't reveal if I were you, it's about the only ace in the hole left.

What you talking about, Bug? Wolves would be among the first to know if there was a block.

Thinking about it further, only one villain would know, right? You still have use blocking whichever of the two of the three roled players (Dawes, you, and batman) still in the game

The supervillains would all know if there was a conversion last night, and the one wolf attacking knows there was a block last night. So there is no sense in not talking about that.

I did indeed block an attack last night, and that is why there was only one kill. So no conversion.

Again, I will not state who I was guarding the past couple nights. One supervillain knows, but the other does not.

Unfortunately, I was not given any information about the attacker. I had hoped I would learn an ID.

Nice work Chief. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how we proceed at this point without knowing who/if we've killed bad guys other than going by gut unless the seer types find someone.

I kinda dont like how J23 didnt say a word for days and then comes out firing at me. real easy to sit back and watch people try to be helpful and then drop a vote on them based on....what exactly?

my vote will likely go to him, as he has now seriously pinged my radar...i can also get on board with a DaddyTorgo vote.

With the huge lack of information this game, I haven't had much to add the times I've been on. With the bad guys knowing only 1 other player (and 2face knowing none), I don't think there's much to be gained by the voting records, especially now that we won't even know if people were good or bad. As I last week, I think either you or DT are likely 2face based on the villagers I think you'd have tried to convert/kill.

The only reason voting for me makes sense is if you're convinced I'm 2face, since I was scanned clean otherwise already. If you think that's the best play for the village, I'm just fine with leaving my vote on you.

All right, I want to get a handle on our list of suspects:

Cleared by role (or presumed cleared)

Commo--Batman
Chief Rum--Bop/BG
Mauboy1-- Dawes

Cleared supervillain/deranged citizen

Zinto (cleared both)
J23 (not 2 Face, could be DC or supervillain after scan)
dzilla (not 2 Face, could be DC)

The Rest

PackerFanatic
Sndvls
NTNdeacon
MrBug708
Saldana
Tyrith
Daddy Torgo

I forget who else mau and Narc scanned (and when), so this list is incomplete.

I am thinking about going after sndvls for the simple reason that he has had pretty much only drive by votes(if I remember correctly) and it just seems like he has avoided suspicion pretty well.

I'm writing a magic article, and I needed to cut and paste from a decklist in an article to my article, but when I do that in Word, all of that crappy HTML stuff comes with it too. So I copy and paste here, and then it's easy to work with
