I think it will still be an interesting game. At some point the infected will hit a transformed, thus reversing roles, but creating a circle of trust within themselves only to hope that the transformed don't go all the way back to being a villager... which would be ape shit crazy as then they would spill the beans of at least one of the transformed.
INteresting, interesting. I'm gonna have fun with the last few days. |

Yeah, yeah. Well done mau - I always said you were a better wolf than villager. So we're back to being screwed then? Time to start day two. At least we have quite a lot of stuff to work with for it being day two.

Susanna Hoffs is smoking hot!!! Sorry, had to say that. (Met her in a bar at the Taj after a concert where she opened for Don Henley; would like to say it was a Dear Penthouse Forum type of story but instead it was very much small talk with me, the designated driver, apologizing for my extremely drunk friends) |

Can we ease off on the youtube clips. If I remember right they make it a living hell to read a page if you're using 3G. Keep your gloating to the written form if you'd be so kind Eagle.

So doing a bit of maths I've come up with the fact that we really have to hope that the doctor/nurses have been on the ball in this game. Because otherwise I think we could be up to as much as 8 villagers to 7 baddies. (Mummy, 2 transformed, 3 infected, cultist). And someone on the baddy side has a double vote. Against that we have the mummy hunter, a doctor, (hopefully, though not certain) 2 nurses and 4 vanillas. We're starting to rely on the infected voting each other or killing each other.
So yeah, I think "screwed" would be a decent description of what the (small) majority of us are at the moment. |

Okey-dokey. Take Crimson out because I don't see Eagle voting a transformer on day one in this sort of game. Take out Raiders because I don't see Eagle putting in an early second vote on someone who already has a wolf vote. Leaving JAG, Jackal, Darth, LSG, Britrock, Zinto & KWhit. JAG has been pretty helpful from the outset and I haven't really had a wolf vibe from him. I think possible infected but I'm not seeing him as a transformer. Jackal - dunno. He actually has fewer posts than me and I haven't been super-active. I think villager Jackal is a bit more active so I think Jack's a definite maybe. Darth - has been Darth, for better or worse. Another maybe. LoneStarGirl - seems to have coasted along through the game, saying bits and pieces without actually leading anywhere. Britrock - didn't like his reasoning for voting Zinto yesterday (and I still find the reasoning bogus). On the other hand he voted non-Simbo at a time when it wasn't wholly clear that Simbo was going to get landslid, so that's a positive. Zinto - has been very active and thought of stuff. I don't even remember how Zinto plays as a wolf but I don't think it's like this. KWhit - flying so low under the radar he's subterranean. Not at all how he used to play but anyone can be hit by work. Still I would expect more from KWhit. Jackal, Darth, LoneStar or KWhit for me then. Vote LoneStarGirl At the moment I think I trust GoldenEagle the most. Next to that is probably Danny. I think he's been infected and I would hope that if the doctor's been paying any attention at all he'd be cured by now. Makes me think that Eagle hasn't really been sending coded messages or Danny would have come out with them. |

I'm not against an LSG vote as I haven't felt that badly about Jackal and DV seems to be playing his usual game among the other uncleared Zinto voters, whereas LSG has been a good bit different from last game. I'm going with your candidate from yesterday though.
Vote Britrock 1. Only uncleared left voting Danny from D1. 2. He is the only likely (in my mind, since I'm excluding Julio voters) Transformed candidate to have a vote when EF bumped CF to 2. 3. Yesterday after EF's post saying 'watch out for Zinto, I think he might have a special role', he votes for Zinto (I wouldn't use this point for a more veteran player) Not a rock solid case, but the best I have at the moment. |

Fuck me. I haven't been able to devote as much time as I wanted to to this game, but jesus. We have wolves openly talking in the thread (Eaglefan and mauboy1), while I strongly suspect they're trying to communicate with the others and it's working.
I could go either way on Narcizo or JAG based upon the communication with the known Mummy and (probable) cultist. The "I see what you did there" and manipulation of the vote blatantly is incredible. Wake up people. VOTE NARCIZO I'm going to be out for the rest of the day until after lynch. I have some problems with the Toyota Tundra deal from Dallas that I was supposed to pick up tomorrow. It's not going to happen. So I'm going to chew out the salesman tonight after work and then go to dinner. |

I don't really understand how I'm communicating with the cultist and Mummy or what I'm saying but there you go. He's half-right. I did communicate with Eagle. I asked him to stop posting youtube films on the page to stop it slowing down things for people. I admit it, hang me. I must have missed the bit where I communicated with mau but I'm sure it's there somewhere.
Worse thing is that I feel pretty good about Raiders being a villager which means we're screwed. Ho hum. |

I think the problem is that there is little to go on and I imagine that there's a fair bit of backstage calculating going on by the infected. For my part I tired of reading through looking for hints from Eagle.
Oh who are we kidding? It's quiet because Danny and Crimson haven't been posting. |

I admit this game is way over my head, which could be why I'm playing considerably different this go around. I am hoping that I can make it through today/tonight so I can refocus this weekend and come out with a killer analysis Monday

The problem is that if an infected attacks a transformer then the seer scans and voting record I've been using to narrow down transformer suspects goes out the window. So it's not universally great if an infected targets a transformer. Better for us if they target each other. |

Based on the D1 vote and general UTR play which would benefit a transformed when we have had runaway candidates three days in a row.

We know/presume that mau is the cultist - so he doesn't count as a baddy for victory conditions. the cultist scanned for the seers - which is why he fake revealed. I don't know about that question? I don't want to offend you L but did you really not know that? |

Won't deny UTR play; this game is complex, and most of the effort I've spent in this game has just been thinking about the possible permutations of roles in play, rather than gumming up the thread with incomplete/inconsistent/incorrect analysis. If you don't mind me asking, what's wrong with the Day 1 vote? We've had runaways so far, and that has contributed to my being under the radar. With votes such as the early vote for Zinto yesterday, I'm trying to generate a little thought about the players whose in-thread behavior has pinged me. In a game like this where there is so much changing sides, I think voting analysis will prove less useful than normal. At this point, I have a better idea of who not to lynch than who to lynch. And to bump a previous question, would the village be served to lynch the cultist today? |
