So why not state this publicly? Why cause the problems that you and Qwik had with how you paddled? What if he had chosen to go leisurely? I mean you could have really mucked this up. I think the idea that more ground could be covered is a good idea, so why not say so?

BTW, the underground didn't approach me on my shopping trip, at least not yet. My choices were just two different types of shops to visit - a pawn shop, or craft stores.

That's true and if that had happened I'd have been happy to talk with him. It just seems like you were publicly relatively on board with the idea and then privately you did something else.

This is completely inaccurate, manipulatively so, to the point that now I suspect you. I have NEVER tried to prevent a lynch in this game, whereas other people have consciously and intentionally not even voted. And I have not argued AGAINST accounting for whereabouts, I have simply stated that this is not going to be a game of "player x claimed to be at the disco, but nobody saw him, therefore player x is a wolf!"

Selfishness, I guess. I didn't want us all going at the same speed. I was mildly convinced that whoever went faster would find something. But, that clearly didn't happen. I would've explained myself right at 10, but I wasn't around to do it until this morning.

I'm always concerned when actions and words don't match up. Sure you voted, but all the while arguing that our massing was not the right idea. Sure you haven't with held information you've just made it easier for others to do so by providing rhetorical cover. Go ahead and suspect me. I don't know of what, but go ahead.

That seems like a relatively small benefit when compared to recruiting someone in a good (UTR or slightly trusted) light

I mean, I see your point, but I'd never make that play personally.

I just want to stop well short of relating it to SY in any way.

Check post 3. His status is normal, implying that he's returned (just as path's, mine, and PB's status all just blanked when we returned).

I've got to a summit, but this is the rhetoric I've been talking about. Perhaps your misdirection on the drugs has just made me see demons where there are none, but basically you've just raised my suspicion with just about all of your actions this game.

Not one of those posts is arguing what you said I was arguing, and to your other point, I was in fact correct about Swaggs!

It's similar, but I don't think it's a stretch to say that some people wouldn't make that move (whereas some like you might).

Me personally, I'd go the safer route, especially if I myself was sailing pretty smoothly.

But back on topic

What I'm saying is that I don't remember anyone but you actually seeing the cut ropes and your repair of them.

So if nobody else actually witnessed this except you the whole thing could be made up.

I thought that someone else did mention it, but I haven't had a chance to go back and check so just thought I'd ask.

Lathum, I asked this earlier but you never answered, is it possible that the ropes were cut by somebody not on the ship, or by somebody as they were leaving the ship?

Also:

I have no reason to believe the rope cutting story either.

I mean, we have your word, but you already admitted to lying about the heavy drinking / hangover.

Maybe that's how WW is played around here, but I don't like lying in the game at all.

I think it's hard to play WW without any lying, especially if you're a wolf. The only thing that it's frowned on to lie about here is real world availability stuff. Well, that and playing as a duplicate account.

I don't like it either, except for obvious things like lying about being the seer, etc.

Lying as a villager just confuses the other villagers, because the wolves always have more information than the villagers, so we need all the information we can get.
