I see the same sort of thing with invoices from TV stations all the time.

In about an hour, I'll be walking away from the only job I've had since graduating college in 2005. After 9.25 years of federal service in the banking industry, I'll be moving into the private sector beginning on Monday. This place has been good to me, with the couple of internal stops along the way, but it's time for a change.

You know how a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing?

I just used a microscopic bit of knowledge to pull an almost absurd guess out of my ass ... and solved a computer (email) problem that had plagued an associate for weeks. I'm in shock that it worked, apparently I'm accidentally awesome today.

I remember when Surge came out. I was SGA President at college and we were asked to pass it out for free at a basketball game. Well, we had a ton of it left over so I drank several of them that night (at the game and during my late night paper writing/test cramming sessions). It was the only time I've had so much caffeine that I thought my heart would just explode.

I love Little Caesars. Feel guilt as hell living in Chicago and getting it once in awhile. I think it's a nostalgia thing for me. Had it a lot in college and $5 for a whole pizza with no wait is a great deal.

I like the lunch combo myself, which is half a deep dish order and a 20 oz soda.

There's a Little Caesars on the way to a friend's house. It's a good stop before a night of gaming. Cheap eats and frankly it's not much different from any other pizza joints.

I was randomly wondering if the adults I remember from Sesame Street in the early 80s were still on the show. They are! Well, the important ones are - Bob, Gordon, Luis, Maria. Bob's been on that show for 45 years. Sesame Street must definitely have some economic issues with that aging population.

In Britain, it's really impolite to ask a woman if her fanny hurts after a long bike ride.

Moab is AWESOME.
I'm an avid offroader though so maybe I am biased. But Ive made 5 trips to Moab, UT.

Amazing sights and for a wheeler its like a pilgrimage to Mecca.

I lost in fantasy by .1. Today they apparently updated a stat (gave the Bills defense a sack) and I won by .9. It was a pleasant surprise since I've lost on stat corrections twice in the last three years.

Every year the cafeteria at school gets one of those got milk type posters to put up featuring an athlete. This year it was Ray Rice. I suggested that it might be wise to take that one down.

Sad day at work. IT upgrades across the board means both the operationsports site and osatwork sites are blocked.

I suppose I couldn't become more productive but that seems like a horrible choice.

I get an odd sense of satisfaction when famous people reply to me on Twitter, followed by an immediate feeling of remorse because I'm usually being snarky (which triggered the response)

Either way, the list includes: Michelle Beadle, Zach Lowe, SVP, the Reds, JJ Hoover, Tas Melas, and a couple of local broacasters.

Robert Mathis replied to me once, we were both slamming the media. The others have all been snarky fights between me and various Indy Star columnists.

I took my family to a Nationals game yesterday. For the amount I paid for a couple of ice creams that are in the helmets, I could have gone outside of the stadium and bought a real batting helmet and filled it with ice cream at a much cheaper price.
