Post #2 has your answers. DT was slain by Ancients, and Lathum is still alive. Anyway, when my powers were taken, whatever it was that took them called me "commoner" -- so I was assuming it wasn't a fellow commoner that took powers from me mistakenly. Do you have anything like that to go on, or are you just assuming it must have been a bad guy because you're good?

I read the commoner to be just somebody who was more powerful than me but yeah, I assumed bad guy because of that. As for the last question, yeah, I figure the odds of a good guy stripping another good guys skills were very low (unless there is another win condition at play).

The only reason I even bothered to consider a person with another win-condition doing it is because we already know that at least Path has a separate condition (which includes us not reaching the end of the labyrinth before he can kill the minotaur). But yeah, I give it a 95% chance that a wolf is who took my powers.

I guess the thing to remember is that commoner is the name we have for villager in this game. So if the dude knew you were a commoner, then they must not be one (since the Ancients are the one who knows everyone's identity). Also, I wasn't sure if whoever took them could use my powers or not. Even if they could, I'm not sure they would be useful. I could see a mechanic where a commoner could block the powers of another, giving them a chance to prevent someone they think is a wolf from using those powers -- but the way they called me commoner makes me think that wasn't the case here.

In one of my pre-game writeups I think I may have said that the Ancients handpicked the creatures for this maze - but no, they did not start off the game knowing everyone's roles.

I'm not sure -- I just mean that generally the wolves know who is good and who is bad. I didn't mean full identity, just goodness or badness.

Basically I just meant that the wolves know who the commoners are. This gets PB a lot of trust in my book -- has this happened to anyone else? I think we can get a COT going with this info.

A rather large image appears above you, just as when you witnessed RendeR's tussle with the dragon.

It seems to be an empty chamber. Someone comes into view, path12.

He stands patient, bracing himself for an onslaught.

Charging into view comes a frightening blur of muscle and fur, wielding an axe nearly the size of path12.

The Minotaur launches itself towards path. Path pulls a spear out from behind him and thrusts it into the Minotaur, who howls in agony. Falling backwards it unleashes a heavy swing with his axe and catches path - decapitating him.

They both fall to the ground.

Telle was the Minotaur!

path12 was Theseus!

So now we're down both telle and path12, Lynch vote should only require 6 now? or is it down to 5?

Anyway, FWIW, my thinking was that Telle was the one who stripped my powers, based on how she jumped on me right after I mentioned it. I guess that can be disproven if someone else has their powers stolen after this point.

I think my vote may go towards Farrah. She was close by when one of my heads was cut off and was very quick to reveal info that we discussed in private.

Any word from any of the raptors?

All along I thought that RendeR was the minotaur, this was huge news to me. And no, no real word from anybody. I could consider Farrah as well as a couple others but nothing strong.

Oh, by the way. I'm going to see Pineapple Express at 9:45 and then I'm picking up Madden at midnight, so as soon as I get back from that I'll update the lynch/night moves and such. Before I play Madden, I promise.

Deadline is still at 10.

And from the looks of it, we're going to come nowhere close to either number. IF we don't lynch, we have about 4 days left (I'm assuming worst case scenario of 3 wolves-7 villagers) which equates to 8 moves. I have no idea if that is enough for us to reach the center of the labyrinth but it's a risk. If it is 7-3, a bad lynch here and tomorrow basically means endgame. Again, I'm assuming worst case scenario as there are likely only two wolves but I think it's important to put it out there.

I have to get a vote in and I want to drive some sort of conversation from some of the quiet people. Farrah, ntn, mccollins and KWhit have all been pretty quiet as of late.

Weird question -- do we know how the Ancients win? I'm wondering if they need to kill all of us -- even if they have a 1:1 ratio and control the vote, we might still have more time to try to reach the center before they kill us.

Sorry, I've been quiet. Three reasons:
1) Most others were as well so there was little to which to respond,
2) I haven't seen anything in the maze since I resurrected,
3) I'm being moved to another department at work and I'm not going to be able to surf near as much

ntn has seemed to respond to threats in a villager fashion and DT didn't seem sold on him. I've been curious about Farrah so I'll throw a vote her way in hopes of getting a response.

VOTE Farrah

There are 9 alive in the labyrinth so that takes 5 for a lynch on any kind of 50% vote requirement.
