Hmm, I don't know, that would be a pretty weird play for a wolf. Well, unless the wolves were very concerned about the BG and were willing to sacrifice one of their own to draw him out.

I don't see much benefit to that play, though. It makes much more sense that MartinD is the cultist, given what we know from the rules (that he and the wolves do not know one another's identities at the start of the game).

So we're at 5-2-1 in terms of voting and 5-2 (potentially 4-3) in terms of numbers...If we miss today we're done. Though lynching Martin today only delays the inevitable if we're wrong on the other lynch regardless.

Regarding the game for the remaining villagers, I read back some, I haven't looked at things, but if they win with converting Martin as CR said, then he has to die tonight because the wolves will convert him. I know you didn't like my vote on him, but like I said, I didn't have time to do analysis.there's no downside to the wolves converting him ASAP or as soon as they are down to one wolf. The reason being obviously we all lynch Martin as soon as the conversion happens, but that means we have to spend a day lynching someone who currently is on our side. Sorry if I'm rambling and not coherent, but summary is, the wolves will convert Martin before the game is over, so he may as well die now and then we focus on the remaining suspects.

I really don't get the suspicion on me from the village. My record may not be the best, but as a vanilla villager, I am not suppoesd to be omnicient. I made a good call on D4 with the vote on ntn and after that I pushed for RA not to get lynched when previously he was one of my top suspects (which turned out to be correct). I think I've been someone who's been trying to sort through the data throughout the game and as more info has become available, I've made better calls. Anyway, I've been a vanilla villager for the past few games I've played and lost each one. I'd rather win this one. So if you're a villager, please vote for someone else.

Since I can't really go on pure voting record, going by a combination of the two, I lean towards CW as a primary suspect. He jumped on some irrelevant aspects of things I was posting to use me as a suspect. He had the wolf-like switch of the vote from Abe to Telle at the end of D1. I would look to him after we get rid of the future wolf Martin.

I think what we know (there are two wolves) tells us not all is as it seems. But looking over the candidates, one wolf (at least) has to have a good voting record, because we're running out of bad voting records.

I don't know that JAG is a wolf, but it appears he gives us our best chance. After that, it feels sorta like we're picking out of a hat, because everyone left (heck, even JAG, as he just did) has a vote or two they can point to and say a wolf wouldn't do that. My point is, clearly a wolf has done that.

But JAG seems like our best bet, so that's the way I am going.

Lathum is obviously eliminated as a suspect. At this point I would eliminate lerriuqs because a wolf would obviously want to vote me out, knows the game would be over upon doing so, and so has no need to find another candidate. lerriuqs waiting to decide on me makes no sense as a wolf play. So that leaves two wolves among Jackal, CW, and CR. Based on CR's comment earlier today:

I put him in the same camp as lerriuqs...why would the wolves want to take their time and think through candidates? They would want to immediately vote out a villager and end the game. Therefore, I am just about positive CW and Jackal are the two remaining wolves. The only question is which one is the brutal? I'm going to guess it's Jackal because I would think the wolves might've wanted to use the brutal ability earlier in the game with Shaggy and the BG still being out there, but when Jackal had a chance to push CW on D3, he instead brought me up as a candidate instead of tossing a vote on CW or ntn. Therefore, based on this information, I'm changing my vote, assuming I can. Unfortunately, I have to hope Lathum, CR, and lerriuqs all view this as a compelling argument and that Martin thinks I'm lying or doesn't get a vote in. Not a great chance, but that's all that's left to us at this point.
