I don't really understand not giving Podolski any chance and Schurrle not much of a chance given how good they looked in the Armenia game.

I'm pro-Africa so it'd be cool to see Nigeria win. But I imagine B-H will take care of business here without TOO much trouble.

Nigeria - Bosnia & Herzegovina is one of the games I was looking forward to. so far it's living up to expectations, even if it doesn't turn into a goalfest.

I vote that's a good no-call on the Nigeria goal, but yeah...Bosnia got horribly jobbed on the offside call.

Holy fuckballs that was close.

I'd disagree with announcer-weiner about the disallowed goal being "one of the best of the tournament if it had stood."

It was nice, but it wasn't THAT nice.

Feel sorry for Bosnia, played well against Argentina then lost out today because of a refereeing error.

Some strange costumes from the Colombia fans:

I guess maybe reincarnation is true, and now we know where Joseph Ratzinger went after he died?

Forget reincarnation, it could actually be him, he's not dead yet

Another website claims that the gentleman is very keen on marijuana (which seems plausible) and is protesting against the Catholic church's stance on marijuana.

Feel sorry for the other guy, he was happy with his bishops outfit until he saw what his friend had turned up like, now he just feels boring.

That error gets first prize for the most costly mistake (possibly the first one that really made a difference for the final score). Granted, with a 1-1 draw there, Argentina would be group winners already and might have tanked the game against Nigeria (gifting them second place), but it did make the difference for Bosnia and Herzegovina for staying in the tournament or not.

If this result holds and South Korea takes care of Algeria later it will make for an interesting round 3 for Group H.

You could sense that coming. Nice counter attack.

Also, glad to finally see a team not stop a counter attack while the opponent has a player flopping around.

Where was this Algeria team the other day against the Belgies?

I mean Korea clearly has a shite defense, but still.

Great goal from Algeria. That should be the knock out punch for South Korea.
