My college roommate was from the Austin area, so I used to make a lot of trips there. I spent a summer with him in Georgetown doing band camps and stuff like that (yeah, I was a band geek. Shock, I know). I hate Texas with a passion, but I do like Austin. |

The hot breeze in Austin doesn't sting? I have a hard time going outside during the summer because the hot air dries my contacts out in no time. If you're saying Phoenix is even worse than Austin in that regard, I'll never visit Phoenix. At least not during the summer. I was planning on drinking, but it looks like I drank everything on Valentine's Day (or as I like to call in now, Freedom Day). And with tomorrow being Sunday, I'll have to wait until Monday to stock up. |

I wouldn't despair on the Chargers just yet, I have a feeling they'll still be very competitive next season.

The Departed is a great movie. And I think I'd probably throw up watching Saw III sober, so I'll think I'll pass on that particular title.

I suck at making gin & tonics. Either too much gin, or too much tonic. Too much gin is okay, but too much tonic is a horrible thing.
Just in case any of you were wondering. |

In college we had a mini fridge in our living room that we used as a beer fridge. It was great. You never had to get up, go to the kitchen and grab a beer. Just roll your drunk ass over to the beer fridge and hope you're not too drunk to remember how to open a bottle of beer.
I'm thinking about doing something like that now. Except with an ice machine. Right now, I have to go back downstairs to get ice for my drink. That sucks. If I had an ice machine upstairs, I could make another drink right away. The thirty seconds it takes me to walk downstairs to collect the ice, plus thirty seconds to come back upstairs equals a full minute! That's too long to be going between drinks when I'm in drink mode. |

I wish the NHL had something like MLB where you can sign up to watch all games online. It's great that you can listen to the radio feeds for free, but I want to watch the games. Someone should write a letter to Bettman.
