been busy all day so missed the Prison Architect sale.
Going to end up missing the Expeditions: Conquistador 50% off deal too as the encore day ends tomorrow morning and I won't be back on a secured network until tomorrow night. Oh well.

It's actually pretty good at this point. I've played through a few times. Seen a couple things that were a bit odd, but nothing that hinders the game much. I don't have any doubt that I will sink a chunk of time into it. It's a fun concept and designed pretty well. I will say that the opening introduction to the game was pretty intense. Was a bit surprised, pleasantly so without giving anything away. Hope they continue to develop the story aspect of the game. It's still on sale through noon tomorrow. |

Interesting looking game. I'd be more in if I could play as the Aztecs and slaughter the fucking invading dipshits though.

Was able to find a secure connection and picked up not only Expedition: Conquistadors, but Total War: Shogun 2 Collection Pack to finish out my Steam sales purchases. Nice way to end IMO

Weird, can't find that Expedition: Conquistadors game in steam, googled it, clicked on the steam url and it said it's not available in my region... wtf? i thought the only difference in steam regions was the currency, not the games released.

Brief first impressions of Dust: An Elysian Tale are quite good. Looking forward to getting into the meat and potatoes of the game. Difficulty is nice to begin with, hopefully it scales well (on the 2nd highest difficulty level now).

Ran the calculator, does not seem to factor in sale prices. At least not in the breakdown.

Yeah, that's why I think it includes "worth" instead of "spend". I could probably go back and look at all of my Paypal payments to Valve (I think I've pretty much always used Paypal) and that would give me a good sense of how much I've spent on Steam.

Getting the URL error thing? I got that too, but I fixed. Unfortunately, I forget how, but I do remember it being really easy. You can do it from your steam profile page, I think.

I gotta be way the hell up there. $591 for 4,200 hrs? That's $0.14/hr. Hell - on FM13 alone I'm at 4 cents/hour. That's frigging amazing. Where else can you get that kind of value?

About 1,800 hours is FM13/Civ V I also noticed it counts the games at full price, not what we may have paid for them in any sort of sale environment.

Yeah, my 'worth' is almost $500 but I bet the actual cost to me was somewhere in the $100-150 range, possibly even lower.

5700 hours in FM10, but during long stretches when my FM10 dynasty was active, i would leave the client running for days, if not weeks at a time without closing it. I'm sure I have hundreds of legit hours there, but yea... most games I bought on sale of course, I expect my actual spending on steam is $300 at most. Like Pilotman, most of my gaming isn't on steam. I've probably got 2500 legitimate hours into league of legends (which has nothing at all to do with steam, was just curious once we started talking hours played) |

A couple of games I play offline, X3 Terran Conflict, and X3 Albion Prelude, as I've modded the games and don't want to have Steam overwrite the Mods. X3TC I bought a long time ago, but in order to purchase Albion Prelude, I had to register it with Steam, so that saved me from having to download the base game, as it just downloaded the X3AP portion I was missing. |

Seems like there's some stuff they can't pull the info for. For example, here's what it says for me:
My Steam Profile (from SteamDB)
OTOH, it says 'free or no price' for games quite a few games in my list, and it's weird. Some were gifts or are just otherwise free-to-play, but some games I know were gifted to me, like FM13, are showing up with a price (whereas FM12, which I bought, it showing up as 'free or no price). Some other games I know I bought, like Civ IV + expansions, are showing up 'free or no price.' And the Civ IV bundle I actually acquired during a sale so I wouldn't have to fuck with my hard copy any longer. Then there's the fact that, yeah, I didn't pay near full price for many of these. |

It's going off the current store price for anything in your library so FM12 isn't going to show up with a price because it is no longer for sale in the Steam store. Civ IV probably has another entry on your list that shows a price while there's a duplicate entry without one due to how it handles PC and Mac version for that game. |

What's interesting about my stats is that it doesn't record my CK1 hours (was all Pre-Steam) and I haven't played CK2 nearly as much. But despite that, the top 5 games are as follows in terms of playtime:
1. Crusader Kings 2: 348.8 hours 2. Football Manager 2010: 333.9 hours 3. Tropico 3: 17.7 hours 4. Simcity 4: 12.9 hours 5. Tropico 4: 12.8 hours Wonder how it would look with my CK 1 stats.

My Steam Profile (from SteamDB)
top 5 1) Football Manager 2010, 140.3h 2) King's Bounty: The Legend, 62.3h 3) Terraria, 49.5h 4) Civilization V, 46.5h 5) Flatout 2, 38.2h Some obvious ones not on this list, like Civ IV which I bought on D2D iirc and with which I played way more than Civ V. Still interesting stats. The Sales tab is also kind of interesting... FM

Heh, well I screwed up. Set C:E in Windowed mode and now it crashes whenever I try to start it, even after reinstalling the game.
Did a search and came up with this: Quote:

Games owned: 101 Games not played: 18 Percentage: 18% Hours spent: 1,906.0h (incorrect) The hours are wrong. It has me in for 21 hours on Fallout 3, but I completed the entire game, the expansions and saw everything there was to see - that takes a lot longer than 21 hours. It has my top 5 as Civ 5, Skyrim, ME2, FM 2010 and Terraria (al over 100 hours played). I don't feel bad about that 18% not played anymore after looking at the other stats posted here. I think we should make people post in their signatures the percentage of owned games they haven't played so we know who to listen to among those trumpeting games and sales.
