an interesting day after I left town. Looks like I lucked out a little on Friday. Unfortunately I have been unable to be near a computer til Igot home. since it looks like the deadline has been extended...
Vote Farrah the main reason I have it is either her or me. Plus I kinda agree with those who thinks a raptor might be a wolf. |

Hey Abe and/or ntn
I believe that ntn revealed as gargomel or a gargoyle (although Gargomel would've been cooler). |

How did Path know Telle was the Minotaur? Or did he need to know that?

well iwas in a bit of a hurry at the time. basically I can choose to go to stone on two of my actions. it would last until the next move and I would become stone. Basically I would become a part of the wall and therefore the wolves and minotaur would not be able to attack me.

So we have three players with no revelation, right?
KWhit RendeR PurdueBrad I'm thinking of pushing on one of these, but its too late to push for now, forty minutes until deadline. Let's see what's up tomorrow. For tonight, who has votes? Farrah and ntndeacon? I don;t want to vote for either. I believe ntndeacon's gargoyle more than Passa's alchemist. Although I am willing to buy that clap or Farrah might be a wolf, its not like one has stuck out to me in order to get me to votee that way. Anybody have a vote count?

Abe, if you want to push me for a reveal, that's fine. I assume the wolves took my power so they know what I can do. I am a Strix, which I had to look up: Strix (mythology - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) I equate it, although the picture looks like an owl, to be more of a bat given the proclivities.
It is my powers that lead me to think bat. My powers are two-fold, first is the ability to see one move ahead in the maze. My second ability, which I've used a couple times, is the ability to cloak myself in the labyrinth's darkness. This allows me to stay basically invisible to others in the labyrinth (most importantly the minotaur). I was told that if someone came near me in this state, they would receive a PM that would read something to the effect of "you sense someone is nearby." But I would never be revealed. As for Pass, he was on my list but his loss of powers matches mine almost identically which is why I've laid off. |

I can basically see a move ahead, which, for instance, is why I ultimately moved towards the spear half that I was able to locate. I will admit, two things have happened to keep me from knowing a bunch. One, it never dawned on me to map it. Two, and more importantly, I have once gone underwater and discovered a new portion of maze and once gone underground which led to a different portion. I wish I would've mapped my progress and really, I might try to go back through my PMs. |

BTW, this is why I've thought that for most of the game that RendeR was the minotaur and knew our roles. If you look at the movie quotations that he and I traded, they were from Dark Knight. I assumed he was tipping his hand that he knew what I was which is why I played along. |

That's not a problem. Does it matter if the wolves can use that discussion to find me in the maze? If not, I'll just post it openly. If so, I'll think about how to present it.

Lathum, you're around, you mentioned that Farrah was nearby when you were attacked. How strongly do you feel that she may be a wolf? It probably wouldn't matter numbers-wise but I am willing to go that way as well.

I didn;t know what a Strix was until I saw Stirge as an alternate term. That I know from D&D. Its a monster in the basic D&D rulebook.
Hydra is in the Expert book. Gargoyle is in Basic or Expert. Stirge in basic. No Raptors, Oracle, Alchemist, Wolverine or Theseus. Minotaur in Basic or expert. Phoenix is in Expert I think. Now if we have a basilisk and a rust monster as the final two, we'll be all set.

Well, until I get news that someone is close to getting voted off, I don;t beleive we have enough votes. Of the reveals, the one I most doubt is Passa. Anyone notice that we are getting fewer and fewer human roles with the reveals?
Vote Passa Could change in the next two minutes or so. As I get more info.

The only time it might be useful to someone else is if I'm able to link up. In fact, at one point, I was thinking that if I was able to get together with a raptor or the raptors (since they apparently lose that random move when buddied up) I may be able to lead them through but I'm not sure. |

Its not the worst thing in a game where you have to reach the center and the Minotaur and a wolf are dead. We probably outnumber the two? remaining wolves 4:1. I'd prefer to keep pushing, but I don;t want to make dumb mistakes, you know?

Well, and that is what Pass has started to make me think as he continues to vote no lynch. Let me go back to the worst case scenario of them having 3, that means we get a ton of moves before that can take us out. If they have 2 or even 1, we can run wild through the labyrinth. |

One of the things I do as a villager is to imagine the worst case scenarios for wolves. Here they are, in order:
1. Kwhit is playing a very quiet game, and he's a wolf, so we don;t suspect him. 2. Lathum says he's going to be uber-quiet this game, and happens to be a wolf, allowing him to stay very UTR. 3. mccollins is a phoenix and a wolf, with one roles revealed, he happily evades suspicion for the rest of the game. 4. We push on Passa early, then he reveals, then we slide away and move elsewhere, forgetting that every day a little more info comes out that may not show Passa in the same light, but we sort of passed on Pass, so we forget about it, and he sneaks by. Of those, I doubt #3 is possible. That leaves 1, 2, and 4 as my worst case scenarios. Am I the only villager player to run these worst case scenarios through my head at times?

Note that the fewer players ther are, the more likely we are to evade wolf attention at night, since i beleive we have to be near them in order to be killed.
Oh, and someone was in front of me at the 3 pm deadline, so I decided to move forward. I hope its a Raptor. Guess we'll see in a second if I found and can scan a Raptor, or if its a wolf, one of you, or if we missed each other in the maze.

Abe, I throw one more group in there and that is the raptors, both Farrah (although now some heat but she's not here to generate more or deflect what there is) or claph sacrifices a wolf and buys himself trust. I don't know, as some of us continue to talk more and nothing comes of it, I do think we're facing someone utr, if not two there.

Oh, like i said earlier, I would not be surprised to find a Raptor a wolf. But look at the front page. Tyrith is not listed as Something AND an Immortal. He is listed as just an Immortal.
In order words, the only Immortal we know has no other roles. Could one of the remaining Immortals have two roles, and perhaps one of them being a Raptor? Sure, no question, but based on the information we have now, the wolves may not have another role, leaving them not in the mccollins and Raptor group, which have confirmed identities as something non wolfey. In other words, I doubt I'd vote for a Raptor or mccollins unless I had good reason, because we have not seen any evidence of duel roled Immortals.

I ran into Passacaglia, and he was brewing over a caludron, so alchemist (or witch) seems very likely.

"Not enough votes, but you knew that already, didn't you?" He chuckles. "Another of you fell subject to the Ancients, I'm afraid. They finished the dragon's work. And before you ask any dumb questions - he was on your side, and now he's dead." RendeR was the Lesser Ancient! |

Then you are silly or a wolf. Here's all of the reasons to trust me: 1). I have a known role (Raptor). No bad guy, as we know the game right now, has a role plus being a bad guy. Is this possible? Sure, and I won;t automatically ignore those who have roles, but it is one reason. 2). I publicly tripped Tyrith, the only known immortal, over his role reveal. 3). DaddyTorgo was the seer and he obviously trusted me to give me information on his role. Why would he do that? I claim its because he scanned me Night One. There was no kill on Night One. If I were a wolf and adjacent to a player, I;d kill. 4). DT publicly buddied up to me in the thread and trusted me publicly after a bunch of votes were on me on Day Three, and helped in the move to Tyrith. DT publicly aligned with me 5). If I were a wolf, DT would have scanned me on Night One, and he would have revealed me on Day Two. Why? Because this game, unlike other games, requires the wolf to be with the target in order to kill them. So DT would be relatively safe revealing as the seer on Day Two is order to get a guaranteed wolf kill. Remember, DT could only scan those he was near, so I was the only person he could scan on Night One, so you know I was scanned by the seer. Thus, I am arguably the safest, most common commoner of the 10 remaining players.
