I don't think that's likely, but, if the person who was attacked knows anything, I would be interested to hear their side.

Actually, for that matter, now might be the time for the bodyguard to reveal. If I didn't follow the bodyguard, then the player I followed is almost certainly a wolf - I don't think it likely that player would have been attacked.

Not to mention, the BG can protect himself tonight, while mccollins protects olie. The next night, the BG can protect olie, but will probably die -- which might be okay anyway, since the night after that, the BG can't protect olie, anyway.

Yeah, I'm starting to think the message was pretty vague -- fighting with two people probably just means there was a fight, and two people around the person. I'm assuming olie was the target. I know I wasn't involved, and I'm going to assume you weren't following KWhit, or else you would have said so in the first place. I'm starting to like the BG reveal more -- if that's a different person from who you followed, the person you followed is a wolf, so it's TOTALLY worth the reveal.

The other good thing about the BG reveal is that we have a night to mull it over, if there are two reveals. In that time, olie can scan one of them.

I'm still on the fence with the reveal this, IF the person cronin saw was the BG then Olie should be able to confirm that she was helped by the BG shouldn't she?

This would kep the BG safe still unless Kwhit saw him clearly too. in which case it doesn't matter , but I digress....

Not necessarily. Some GMs make that kind of thing known to the victim, some don't.

Olie saying she was helped by the BG wouldn't mean a thing. I saw the person I followed, and two others. I don't know who the other two are.

I may just be speculating but I've never heard of someone being informed that they were protected by a bodyguard.

I guess the downside of the BG reveal is if it's the same person cronin followed. Then it was all for naught. cronin, you don't have to if you don't want to, but what's your trust level of the person you followed?

Obviously pretty low, otherwise I wouldn't have followed them.

One other point: The bodyguard can reveal who he protected. If it was indeed oliegirl, then we can be 100% sure that she is the seer. If it was somebody else, then we have another person in our cot.

I had figured that I had done enough that the wolfs would not attack me and took a chance of not protecting Olie the seer as they might have figured I would have protected her.

He's a good second choice with all those powers, I guess. I'm pretty upset we took the gamble to NOT protect olie -- I'd have rather played it conservatively -- but I guess it worked out.

This would be what I was waiting for. Seolian is not the bodyguard. I am. I protected no one the first night as I was not around at deadline. I tried to protect Purduebrad night 2 because I had given him the benefit of the doubt during the vote.

I protected Olie last night and she was attacked by Kwhit *based on my PM* I was not told of anyone else that I blocked, only that I blocked Kwhit.
