How can you protest an out of leftfield duking? It's sort of a dick thing which is why I feel bad whether he's good or innocent. Part of the fun of the game is trying to wiggle out of trouble and a duking takes away that chance all together. Especially this early in the game.

I got in a little late and it took too long to catch up. I would have considered switching Render, but I'm still not sure how the vote count ended up with all those switches. I almost sent in a switch to Schmidty even though I think I was over the deadline. I'm so pissed that he cost us the camp (presuming the wolves didn't anyway).

Also, I wish some more of you guys had been around before I went to dinner. We got a good deal more discussion. I feel like I was leading the discussion much of the time during the day and I just don't know all the players that well. I hear people saying Render is being Render, for example, and that's some feedback I could have used earlier.

I have found Pass does a couple things in concert when he's a wolf. As a wolf he doesn't always do these things. But when he does certain things I've pretty much always found him to be a wolf. He's done them this game. It's made me suspicious of him.

I've voiced some of these suspicions in the thread. Enough for an observant wolf team and player, such as Pass (who notices this kind of stuff) to pick up on. If he's a wolf, I feel like I've made myself a good night kill candidate. Kill off someone suspicious of your role, while perhaps hitting the BG/seer. I didn't want to take that chance, so I duked him.

The work today is steady and uninteresting. Some of you count money and allocate resources, some organize the office and administration and those on the street. Meanwhile others are on the street gladhandling and orating something fierce.

Organizing – 6/8. Here you fell. You sent the gladhandlers and the oratory people to the wrong places and failed to fully convert the town of Bob White to the UMW. Although sympathetic to your cause, they have elected not to join you today.

Tomorrow you will vote to Oust again.

You begin the Oust votes from yesterday, but before you even begin, Barkeep gets on the stage and starts talking. Before long, you are enveloped in his words and his speech. He talks with fire and brimstone. Before long, you are eating up the words of a man with a command of scripture and words.

Barkeep convinces you that Passacaglia must be the sympathizer in your midst! With all due haste, some of you grab him and hoist him to a central platform. You begin to hold him down to search his belongings but he draws a pistol!

You quickly back away!

“Us Baldwin-Felts guys are not prone to disorder, but we can make a ruckus if called upon.” He says.

“I’ve seen enough illegal things here to toss all of you in jail, only I reckon I don’t have enough bullets or muscle to haul you all off. I’m going to settle on just one of you. Autumn, you are coming with me! I’m taking you in for violating the terms of your contract, sedition, and other assorted crimes.”

Several of you move to stop Passacaglia but his pistol keeps you back. He grabs Autumn, points the pistol at his head like a prisoner, and backs away quickly. Before long, you see him disappear onto a train just as it makes off into the sunset.

Passacaglia was a sympathizer and the Gun Thug! Autumn is gone as well.

Today was almost a good day. You almost unionized Bob White and caught a Gun Thug too. You know Passacaglia could not have been the brains behind this operation. Perhaps tomorrow will bring greater news.

Abe, why is tomorrow not a normal day? I understand no weekend play but this game is already likely to take two weekends. Weekends which tend to kill game momentum. Why are we losing a day to this week?
