Is Denver half empty? The echoing when the QB is calling signals sounds like he's in a library. Guess the crowd is having trouble getting into a tied game in the second half?

The acoustics at the new stadium have always been crap. At the original Mile High, it was amazingly loud. Most of the crowd is the same, but it doesn't reverberate nearly as much as it used to.

The stadium in Denver is NEVER half empty. Longest sell out streak in the league. (every game from 1970 on) The amount of no shows are announced and booed.

Unbelievable. You've lost the game and still feel the need to talk trash and act like a complete douche bag. He tried to go through two guys so he could cheap shot the QB. When he couldn't get through he decides to take a swing at an offensive lineman. Waht an idiot.

Broncos/Colts going to come down to the wire. The Denver D is strong, but I really, really don't want this game to come down to the defense having to stop Luck.

The Raiders are down 7 to the Falcons and the Falcons are now in chip shot FG range.

Never mind, they just decided to go ahead and run it on in. The Raiders vaunted defense has now been lit up twice in two weeks.

Pats, Panthers, Cards, Broncos all looking like top teams to start the season. Steelers, Bengals, and Packers figure to be in the mix as well. Anyone else going to sneak up into the top 7 is what I wondering at this point. Of course its early but doesnt seem like much as changed. I do kind of like the Giants as a potential sleeper team. Vikings defense will be one of the best in the league but the offense is going to be inconsistent unless Bradford becomes something he has not been. Hard to keep Seattle out of the mix but they just look lost on offense right now.

It's simply too early to guess the surprise teams. Some candidates:

Texans - 2-0, great defense and Brock is throwing the ball well enough to score some points.

Chiefs/Raiders/Chargers - One of those teams could still get scorching hot and put up a decent playoff run or better. All have talent all are fairly stable at the QB position. Any of that group could get hot.

Cardinals - They played flat and uninspired the opening week and still almost beat the Patriots. They are well coached, have a budding super star at running back, a solid defense that can get pressure and a veteran QB. If I had to make a prediction, I'd say they move into that grouping.

Seahawks - Look, I hate that team. Despise them. But they have a great defense, Russell Wilson and some weapons on offense. The offense IS NOT this bad. They will be heard from before it is all said and done.

Dolphins - Ok, stop laughing. No, seriously, stop laughing. I know what they looked like in the first half today. I know they are 0-2. I also know they played the Seahawks close the entire way. I know they didn't just "mail it in" after the Patriots got up on them. I know they have a new coach known for his work with QB's and that they've just played one of the toughest two game road trips anyone in the NFL will play this year. It wouldn't shock me at all if they got hot and were better than people thought.

Packers are still out of sync on offense. Rodgers just isn't making good throws. He's had Cobb and Nelson a few times and made poor throws.

Helmet to helmet no question? I would question that call. Never lowered his helmet from what I saw. That was two people bumping into one another.

This is coming from the person who stated they would still be a good team that would be in the top 7.

I think there is plenty to be concerned about in Seattle. The offensive line looks horrible. Wilson is clearly hurt and how long does that injury last? Is it something that will clear up in a week or two or is it one of those injuries that lingers the rest of the year. The differences between those is going to be huge. Their offense relies heavily on his improvisation.

Again, I think they'll be fine. . . but they really need to snap out of it quickly. This is a team that badly needs home field in the playoffs. They aren't getting it playing like this.

Bradford looks very good. The Vikings offensive line looks terrible. If Bradford were playing exactly like he is right now and AP were running like he's capable of, the Vikings offense would be very good.

Whatever happened to Peterson, the more severe the better for the Vikings. He hamstrings the fuck out of their offense.

Bradford is throwing some major darts. AP looks BADLY injured. yet Bradford is just lighting it up. You can't throw a ball any better than the one he just threw to Diggs in the end zone. It had speed and the perfect location.

He's now 21-28 for 271 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT.

This is an embarrassing game for McCarthy. After the Sitton debacle, Mike's not having a banner start to the season. Combine that with Rodgers missing open guys and I'm not sure about this team. This is a shell of a Vikings team with a new QB and they are killing the Pack.

I'm beginning to think a draft strategy of guys Ohio State didn't get and are available in the mid-rounds might pay dividends.

Diggs, Jordan Hicks...

1 - I think the Packers have started poorly before. Rodgers will be on the radio this week telling people "It's OK" This Vikings team has a very good defense. This isn't all about GB failures here.

2 - To that point, I'm not sure what the Packers can do about Bradford. He's making picture perfect throws. On a lot of these passes, the coverage is close. He's just fitting it in. At some point you just have to admit the other guys get paid too.

Instead of this disqualification explanation after every unsportsmanlike conduct penalty can't they just give the player a yellow card? Be much quicker and cleaner.

I don't have an issue with the rule. . . but the enforcement is just comical. If you are going to call taunting, call it. If you aren't, don't. I've watched most of the games the last two weeks and there is a ton of this stuff that happens in every game. 99% of the time it goes without a call. Then you get a random, out of nowhere call and someone gets 15 yards. Just stunning.

In what possible way? Man coverage with the safetys up on 1st and 2nd down somehow hamstrings the offense?

Green Bay had a gameplan to stop AP and let the WRs/Bradford win the game. He takes the pressure off of Bradford. Having one of the best running backs in NFL history on your team in no way hamstrings your team. Blame the playcalling if you need to blame anything. AP is the focus of the defense every game he plays.

Not sure what was worse; running in from the sidelines...without your helmet on... and bumping into the ref on your way in.

Don't know where any of that seems like a good idea.

I would think a player should be tossed for coming off the sideline to enter an confrontation.

I don't think he is himself anymore. He also never learned to pass protect, he isn't a threat out of the backfield, he makes the offense simple and predictable. When he is in, the defense only has to account for him if he is handed or tossed the ball, otherwise they can just go all out to the QB.

I think they'll be better off. If I am wrong, I'll admit it at the end of the season. I just don't think Peterson is good enough anymore to feature in an offense without him having other skills besides running with the ball. Minnesota can now be more dynamic without him.

I know it didn't turn out badly but why line up in the shotgun for that last play? Why even create the chance for a bad over the head snap there?
