Good grief, I completely missed it during the sim. Zaragoza had 11 RBIs in one game!?

Well, I thought we had it in us for a run this year. Looks like the kids put on a show and carried the team, too.

Trivia: What pitcher has never gone a whole season since 1964 without at least 1 pitcher of the month mention until this year?

I know the answer to this. I'll let someone else guess though

Yeah, server seems to routinely have issues Thursday morning for some reason. I sent another nastygram to the hosting company and they now have the server on their "active monitoring" list, whatever that means.

I guess I get what I pay for

Well, not as bad as it could have been in Balzac, 3rd worst.

3rd worst! 3rd worst! 3 worst!

It's my new crowd chant. A couple more lousy years then I'm set. I think.

hmm... without really any in-depth looking at the teams and just based on what I watched, I think London played over their heads and Washington should beat them to make the Classic. I think Cleveland and Spring were both fairly good teams. I think Spring is top heavy pitching wise that they have two solid options but nothing else. Having only 2 real strong pitchers would be fine if you can count on them winning every single game. I don't think either of Spring's top two were much beyond 60% though vs Cleveland (if that) this season though.

So I'll be utterly lame and pick both league regular season champs to move on to the classic this time around. I think overall Washington is likely the better team. It is hard to say, but I think the first month or two Cleveland overachieved slightly and Washington actually underachieved (despite being in first place).

So I would be surprised to see London beat Washington. I wouldn't be surprised to see Spring knock off Cleveland. Either way I like Washington to win it all.

That's how I see as well. Washington's team is tough - hopefully I get a chance to upset them in the Classic!
If I do I'll make sure to do the....
