Wow... in the West, Portland made it to the Finals despite starting as an 8 seed!

Their team completely revolves around 3 players: Damian Lillard (rated 85 still), Jabari Parker (82), and my old SG Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (79) The rest of their team is weak and we should be able to beat them easily...

Retirement News:

Most notable players include Carmelo Anthony at the age of 40, Kevin Love at age 35, Kyle Lowry at age 38, Al Horford at age 38.

Carmelo is a sure fire HOF player with a career average of 22.3 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 3.6 apg, and 0.9 spg.

Lowry and Carmelo have their jerseys retired.

Time for the draft lottery (who will I have to trade with to get the #1 pick?)

The Spurs moved from 13th to 1st! Will they accept a trade that I can make?

Wow. We got Terrence Francis in for a private workout. At 7'0 285 lbs, he had the best sprint of any player at a 3.30. He had the best vertical at 37 inches. He hit 25 of 25 standing mid range shots. He hit 22 of 25 midrange moving shots. He hit 10 of 25 3 point shots when standing still and 3 of 25 while moving... our scouts are drooling over this 19 year old kid...

The Spurs are already near the cap with Kawhi and Chip Cook and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. That is going to complicate making this trade happen.

Can we figure out a combination to make it work?

It took a lot of back and forth but we found a trade that both sides liked!

We gave up:

PF Dario Saric (85 rating now)
SG Rick Sharpe (99 shooting from 3 and 76 overall)
The 2025 1st round pick that we got from the Spurs in another trade.
The 2027 1st round pick we had from the Raptors.
Our own 2027 1st round pick
Our 2024 2nd round pick.

In return:

We got the #1 pick
We also took their worst contract, 14 million for C Georgios Papagiannis who is rated 75 overall.

Time to make some other trades:

McDermott is really unhappy. Time to move him.

Wow. Boston is willing to give us a 1st in 2026. It will probably be a low pick, but I take it.

Poeltl was demanding to play more or be traded. With the #1 pick coming in, he is going to get less PT. I decide to trade him as well. The Nuggets are willing to give us stretch 4 Juan Hernangomez for him and our 2nd round pick in 2025. I do it.

Our other malcontents are FA's and will either leave or come back and they know they won't get much PT if they come back...

Francis averaged 33.8 ppg, 13.1 rpg, and 3 bpg in college. We get 3 offers for the pick but turn them all down. We got our man. Chen and him will grow and thrive together for many years.

Other draft news:

The clippers got a PF who is 6'10 275 who I really liked as well. They got him at #9 which I think is a steal. We think he has all-star potential.

Joel Embiid got traded for the 10th pick and a 1st next year.

Cool: The 54th pick was Kenny Garnett (Kevin's son?)

Best FA's available:

Anthony Davis (now rated 87) at age 31
Lillard rated 84 at age 34.
Kemba Walker rated 83 at 34
Jimmy Butler rated 79 at 34.

Eric Holland decides to re-sign with us for 1 year minimum. We have at least 1 sharp shooting guard and a great backup for Ben Simmons.

Other positions of need:

Backup SF and maybe SG.

I decide to get a sharp shooting backup SG. Brad Givens is rated 73 overall but is very good shooter from midrange and 3. Furthermore, he is willing to consider a minimum contract.

We also offer Bojan Pavic, a 6'8 223 pound SF who specializes in shooting the midrange and is good at the 3. He is rated 72 overall and should be ok with being a backup who plays sparingly. He is also willing to consider a minimum contract.

A few days later Pavic signs with us!

Towards the end of FA Givens decides to sign with us too

Other notable FA signings:

The Heat got Kemba Walker for 4 years and 100 million.

The Pacers (who did well last year) added Jimmy Butler for 3 years and 36 million.

McDermott signed with the Hawks for 1 year and 5.6 million.

The Magic got Lilliard for 3 years and 95 million.

The Bulls got Kidd-Gilchrist for 3 years and 49 million.

The Pelicans re-signed Davis for 4 years and 124 million.

The Rockets re-signed Nerlens Noel for 5 years and 47 million.

The Warriors got Jonas Valancuinas cheap for 3 years and 4 million.

Off season trainers/staff report:

Chen is taking huge strides forward.

Okafor and Simmons are already starting to decline just a bit at the age of 28.

Jermaine Rodgers is taking a huge step forward and looks like an All-Star.

Bilious is becoming an even better defender.

Hernangomez is declining slightly at 28.

Our 19 year old C led us to the Summer league Championship. He dominated in the summer league averaging 22 ppg and 10 rpg along with 3.2 bpg.

Carmelo Anthony Jr. is a rising star in college this year! He is a 6'2 180 pound SG/SF who is projected to be a star.

Now, here is a look at our roster:

So, I just got my Assistant Coach's recommendations...

He is recommending starting Francis over Okafor (probably due to our believe that Francis has super star potential.)

I'm not going to upset Okafor. The rookie will play a lot but it will be as a big off the bench.

That doesn't leave any significant playing time for Georgios Papagiannis and I want Tommy Lucas to be the 3rd C, so I decide to do what I can to trade Papagiannis... but I have to wait 43 more days to trade him.

I could and that will happen soon if Francis is outstanding right away but Rodgers also looks like a young star blossoming and I don't want to put him on the bench yet if Francis is not quite ready.

October 30th -

Our season opener is at the Nets. Thanks to our trade, Brooklyn has stocked some talent and our staff feels they are the #7 team in talent in the league right now! Of course, we are #1

Francis should be in by the 6 minute mark with Okafor sliding to PF at that time most likely.

5:35 - Francis checks into the game in a 15-15 tied game..

Here is some video of the first 10 minutes of the game. Due to some editing errors, the action doesn't start until about 50 seconds in (well the intros start then.)

Francis looks good out there early after a bad defensive play to start his career.

NBA 2K17_20170902144328 - Video Dailymotion

At the end of 1, we are up 28-21. Francis with 6 points and 4 boards in his first 5 1/2 minutes of action!

Chen with 12 points in the quarter.

To start the 2nd, we will go with a lineup of Holland, Chen, Simmons, Rodgers, and Francis.

Chen explodes in the 2nd quarter and has huge play after huge play including a few nice assists to Francis. We build a 25 point lead but it shrinks when Chen (and Simmons rests.)

Here is some action from the 2nd quarter including some nice plays from Chen to Francis:

NBA 2K17_20170902220455 - Video Dailymotion

We are up 56-46 at half.

Chen has 23 points and 3 assists.

Francis has 12 points and 11 boards at the half. He will start next game...

7:02 - In the 3rd, Rodgers picks up his 5th foul. Francis in at C (for tired Okafor) and Hermangomez in at PF.

At the end of 3, Francis has 22 points, 12 boards, 3 assists, and a block.

Chen with 29 points already.

Simmons already has a triple double with 22 points, 13 boards, and 13 assists.

Not surprisingly, we are up 92-72 at the end of 3.

I want Francis to get up his confidence and keep him in the game. He responds with a nice 4th quarter for a big debut game.

In fact, Francis is named player of the game with 34 points, 16 boards, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks. He hit mid range shots, he dominated in the post, and he hit his free throws. He shot 13 of 23, 0 of 3 from the arc, and 8 of 9 from the line.

Chen also thrived with him on the floor to draw inside pressure. Chen's outside shot has developed nicely and he had a very efficient game in which he scored 36 points and also had 5 boards, 6 assists, and 3 steals.

Here is the boxscore:

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5zc4ci

Chen has a really nice dunk about 1:15 into the video. The boxscore is at the end.

We host the Pacers. Francis gets his first start...

We crush them 99-61 despite them having one of the more talented teams in the East.

Chen led the way with 22 points, 14 boards, 4 assists, and 3 steals.

Francis with 21 points, 11 boards, 3 steals, and a block. He shot an efficient 9 of 13 and 3 of 4 from the line.

Okafor with 20 points, 16 boards, and 4 assists at the PF position.

Simmons with 14 points, 14 boards, 16 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.

Rodgers with 6 points, 10 boards, and 3 blocks.

Bilious with 5 points, 5 boards, 5 assists, and 2 steals.

Hernangomez shot 0 of 7.

11/2 -

We travel to Detroit. Francis will go against one of the best Centers in the league in Andre Drummond...

We win 109-100. Drummond with 24 points, 16 boards, and 2 blocks to lead them in the loss.

Chen led us with 27 points, 7 boards, 7 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. He shot an efficient 10 of 16 and 7 of 7 from the line.

Okafor with 23 points, 12 boards, and 2 blocks.

Bilious with 13 points, 3 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.

Francis with his first slow night - 12 points (on 5 of 12 shooting), 6 boards, but he had a career high 5 blocks.

Simmons with 12 points, 10 boards, 11 assists, 4 steals, anda block.

Hernangomez with 7 points on 3 of 4 shooting.

11/4 -

We host a weak Bulls team that is 0-3 and one of the least talented...

Wow. Despite the fact that he has not played at all, young PF Antonio Wilcox wants 2 years and 20 million! :O

I think he has a lot of promise and I offer him 3 years and 20 million.

He doesn't want to sign for more than 2 years. We finally settle on 2 years at 17 million. He is developing nicely and could be our next stretch 4 off the bench...

Wow. Oladipo torches Chen and the Bulls upset us 112-96.

Chen led our scoring with 24 points, 5 boards, 4 assists, 5 steals, 1 block and 4 turnovers. He shot 11 of 27.

Simmons with 20 points, 12 boards, 15 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.

Francis with 18 points, 8 boards, and 1 steal.

Okafor with 16 points and 9 boards.

11/6 -

We host the Bucks who are 3-1 as well.

Before the game, Okafor tells me he wants to extend as well...

We decide on a 3 year extension for a total of 90 million dollars.

We beat the Bucks 93-81. Chen led the way with 25 points, 10 boards, 6 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block.

Francis with 21 points, 11 boards, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks. He shot an efficient 8 of 12 and 5 of 5 from the line.

Simmons with 17 points, 8 boards, 8 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.

Rodgers with 4 points, 5 boards, 3 steals, and 5 blocks.

Rodgers comes to me after the game and tells me he wants to start or wants to be traded. He will be a RFA after this year.

Orlando hung tough in the 1st half, but we blew them out in the 2nd half. I have to admit that Chen convinced me to leave him and the starters in despite the blowout to get them some extra stats...

Here is the decisive 4th quarter and the boxscore at the end:

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x609eae

Chen led the way with 31 points and 10 assists.

Francis with 22 points and 11 boards despite playing against star Sammy Montgomery. He helped hold Montgomery to a rough 6 of 16 shooting night.

Simmons had an off night and shot 4 of 15. He finished with one of his worst nights in a long time.

We host the Wolves who are 3-2...

We crush them 118-66. Wow.

They got 2 really nice pieces to go with an aging Kawhi and I'm curious to see how they do in the west this year.

We finish December with a 28-2 record. Can we get to 75 wins? Probably not, but we are going to try...

1/1/25 -

The Wolves want Francis for Wiggins straight up.. no thanks.

This year's top pick has become obvious - Greg Richards is a 6'2 180 pound PG who is going to be a superstar our scouts think... no way we get him. Curious to see where he goes.

Interesting Draft Players:

Carmelo Anthony, Jr. He is a 6'2 SG who looks like he will be a top 10 pick. Our scouts think he will be a solid rotation player but never a regular starter.

Chris Bosh, Jr - He is a 7'3 300 pound C. We have to scout him more to know about him. Right now he is projected a late 1st round pick.

Wenli Chen leads all All-Star votes!!

Simmons is 2nd. Guy Ingram is 3rd.

Ben Simmons won Eastern Player of the Month.

Francis won rookie of the month in the East again.

The Early MVP voting is between Simmons, Chen, and Guy Ingram.

It happened early in a game in which Simmons was dominating. He had 11 points and 9 assists in just 16 minutes.

Chen took over with Simmons out and finished with 40 points, 8 boards, and 8 assists. Can he carry us to a title without Simmons? The only upside... Chen becomes the odds on favorite to win the MVP if we can keep winning. Chen led us to a 122-114 win.

The roster move... we will move Givens into the starting SG role and Chen will play the point for us..

We are rolling and making a trade might be crazy... but Papagiannis is not happy with his role and I'm not happy with Brad Givens... The Clippers want both players and are willing to give us T.J. Warren and Draymond Green.

Green is aging and not doing so well. He can't do much except hit the occasional 3 and play some pesky defense at age 34. T.J. Warren is a very smooth shooting SF though and we are thin at that position. I pull the trigger.

Francis dominated in the rookie-2nd year player All-Star game. Francis led his team to victory with 24 points and 18 boards.

Chen insisted on the dunk competition and won back his crown with a monster 360 dunk from the free throw line.

Chen also competed in the 3 point competition but lost to Guy Ingram.

Okafor and Chen led the East in scoring and the East won the All Star game 132-107. Okafor with 31 points and 10 boards. Chen with 26 points, 5 boards, and 3 assists.

Okafor with 26 points, 10 boards, 5 assists and 2 blocks.

Francis with 24 points, 12 boards, and 2 blocks.

Chen wins player of the month in the East.

Wow. Rasheed Fuller of the Hawks won Rookie of the Month in the East.

Fuller was the 2nd player taken behind Francis. He is a 6'8 229 pound PF who is only 19. He averaged 24 ppg last month. I didn't think he would be that developed already. He has a very good touch from outside.

The Western Conference Championships are a slug fest... but #1 seed Memphis wins in 7.

Memphis is an interesting team. They weren't expected to do this well this year. They are young but talented. 4 of their 5 starters are under 27 and 3 are under 25. They don't have any stars but they also don't have any weak links. They have a deep bench.

Retirement News:

Lots of retirements but the famous players are Jeremy Lin and Harrison Barnes.

Correction: Mike Conley and Marc Gasol both retired and their numbers are both retired by the Grizzlies.

Some interesting rule changes:

Luxury Tax Threshold goes up 5 million. My owner will appreciate that, but we will still be deep into the tax. He has always wanted us to spend money in the past but this year he wants me to cut a bit of luxury tax spending....

The Trade Deadline is abolished. Teams may trade any time in the season.

Draft Lottery:

Pacers and Thunder have the best chance at the #1. Wizards have a chance via a trade with the Bulls...

They don't move up.

The Pacers get the #2 pick but the Kings win the lottery! They moved up from #8.

They almost certainly will take the 6'2 19 year old combo guard who is projected to become a star.

Staff News:

My assistant coach is a great coach who is a terrific developer of talent, but his contract is up. I offer him 1.2 million a year for 4 years and he takes it. A key re-signing for us

Draft:

The most interesting thing for me is where the Carmelo and Chris Bosh's kids go...

We don't have any picks and we are not going to trade for any more top picks..

As expected Greg Richards, the 19 year old 6'2 combo guard goes to the Kings.

Pacers take the best big man at #2 who experts think are much better than my scouts did. His name is Terrence Delk. We will have to keep an eye on him.

Big drop off for the rest of the picks.

Carmelo Anthony, Jr. goes #6 to the Thunder.

Chris Bosh, Jr. went #6 in the 2nd round to the Warriors!

FA time:

Holland is willing to re-sign for 1 year at the minimum. After what he did the 2nd half of the season, I was expecting him to ask for much more, but he values loyalty over all else and we are 50 million over the cap

The biggest FA's:

Karl Anthony Towns who is 29 and rated 92 overall.

D'Angelo Russell, 29 year old PG rated 85.

Embiid 31 year old C rated 81.

Blake Griffin 36 year old PF rated 81.

Greek Freek 30 year old rated 80 overall...

Julius Randle 30 year old rated 80.

35 year old Paul George rated 78 overall...

The Nets re-signed Julius Randle for 4 years at 79 million.

The Wolves signed Klay Thompson for 2 years at 12 million...

The Bulls signed the Greek Freak for 4 years at 120 million!

The Warriors sign Blake Griffin for 3 years at 60 million.

The Hawks get Paul George for 3 years at 16 million.

The Kings sign Embiid for 4 years at 26 million.

The Pacers Re-sign D'Angelo Russell for 5 years at 180 million.

The Magic signed my former SG Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot for 2 years at 20 million.

The Wolves re-signed Karl Anthony Towns for 5 years at 184 million.

Jimmy Butler is washed up and was waived...

Off season progression news:

Chen is now up to a 96 rating with more improvement in his jump shot and 3 point shooting and now are both considered superior! Ditto for his perimeter defense and playmaking. On court IQ going up to elite levels too. He is only 22!

Okafor is 29. He is starting to show the slightest hint of regression.

The big hit is Simmons. His injury has robbed him of his explosiveness that made him so special. Will he get it back?

Francis is up to an 83 overall. He is improving in every phase.

At the start of a new season and the news it that Simmons is taking a while to heal from his ACL. Not surprising... he is going to miss at least until the All-Star break

Draymond Green has taken another step back and I can't meet his demands for PT. I decide to trade him to Memphis for a pair of 2nd round draft picks. Happy to have his contract off the books.

We sign Alberto Aguilar to be an end of the bench PG in case Holland gets hurt. He is a good passer who doesn't do much else well. Rated 69 overall.

So, Chen is actually a 94. But, when you add in Pop's coaching and morale boosts, he is effectively a 96 from what I read. Here is a look at our stacked roster

Francis is already up to an 84 but boosted to an 86 by Pop.

We'll be playing most if not all of this season without Ben Simmons... let's go!

Ben has told us he wants to extend his contract... he wants 3 years for 82 million. With the ACL, this is a risky proposition.

I offer him 3 years at 60 million.

He counters at 3 years and 72 million.

We settle in on 3 years and 66 million. I'm taking a chance on his recovery but we get a discount if he fully recovers... and if he doesn't, he has done a lot for us and I can't just cut him loose.

Chen isn't ready to do an extension quite yet... but as soon as he is, I will max him out.

Oct 29th -

We start off with Portland and we beat them 113-100. Chen going for a repeat MVP and starts off strong with a 29 points, 16 boards, 14 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block night. He shot 9 of 23, 3 of 10 from the arc.

Francis with an efficient 21 points, 11 boards, 3 block night.

Okafor with 14 points, 3 boards, 7 assists, and 3 blocks.

Holland got into foul trouble and only played 13 minutes.

11/1 -

The Hawks have Paul George, Russell Westbrook, Devin Booker and a lot of good young players around them...

They upset us 114-113. Booker led them with 24 points. Westbrook with 20 points and 10 assists.

He torched Holland who got into foul trouble and only played 13 minutes.

Chen with 29 points, 5 boards, 7 assists, 6 steals, and a block in the loss. He shot 10 of 20, 4 of 7 from the arc, and 5 of 7 from the line.

Francis with 27 points, 10 boards, and 1 assist. He shot 11 of 16.

Rodgers with 16 points, 8 boards, and 2 blocks.

Okafor with 15 points, 6 assists, and 2 blocks.

11/4 -

The Heat beat us 105-85! Chen had an off night and shot 6 of 22. He finished with 18 points, 9 boards, 5 assists, and 5 turnovers.

Francis with 14 points, 6 boards, and 2 blocks. He shot 6 of 12.

Okafor with 12 points, 9 boards, and 2 blocks.

Lucas with 9 points in 9 minutes. After the game, he tells me he wants more PT. Let's take a look and see if there is any way I can make that happen...

Wilcox is starting cold, so I take just a few minutes from him to give to Tommy Lucas.

11/5 -

We lose to the Magic and Chen hurts his back on a dunk! Wow. 109-105 loss.

Chen only played 5 minutes. He has a severe back muscle strain and will miss 2-4 weeks. He had 8 points and 3 boards in the 5 minutes.

Okafor with 21 points. Francis with 18 points and 12 boards.

Roberson moves into the starting lineup. Sheesh.

11/8 -

Holy cow. Anton Bilous goes down with a significant leg injury that will keep him out 6-8 weeks! That 1st rounder we gave up might be higher than I ever thought! T.J. Warren moves into the starting lineup and Wilcox and Lucas both suddenly are in position to get more minutes...

Despite the injury, we win 114-103 over the Cavs. Francis led us with 28 points, 15 boards, 3 blocks. Okafor with 28 points, 13 boards, and 2 blocks. Roberson with 12 points. Holland with 17 assists.

I decide to lower the intensity of our practices. We have to protect our guys.

11/10 -

We lose to the Nuggets 115-104. Francis with 27 points, 8 boards, and 4 blocks in the loss.

Okafor with 21 points, 12 boards, and 3 blocks in the loss.

Roberson with 12 points.

Warren with 10 points on 4 of 7 shooting.

Holland with 12 assists.

Lucas shot 1 of 6 and finished with 2 points and 6 boards.

Wilcox shot 1 of 6 and finished with 7 points and 3 boards.

We are 2-4 and fans are concerned...

Rodgers with 17 points, 9 boards, 4 steals, and a block.

Lucas with 7 points in 15 minutes.

11/26 -

We beat the Spurs 106-95. Saric torched us for 33 points but Sharpe did not play by coaches' decision as he has fallen to the deep bench for them as well...

12/9 -

We beat the Spurs 116-106. Saric had 17 points and 12 boards and 3 blocks. Sharpe played 26 minutes but Chen held him to 0 of 9!

We now have 3 starters down: Okafor, Bilous, and Simmons. Last time that happened, we lost a lot. But, now we still have Chen. Can he and Francis keep us winning?

Francis led us with 29 points, 11 boards, and 2 blocks.

Lucas with 21 points in 18 minutes. He shot 7 of 12 including 2 of 4 from the arc.

Warren added 21 points as well.

Hmmmm, the Hawks offer a slightly interesting trade:

Paul George and their 1st in 2028 for T.J. Warren and the Celtics 1st in 2026 (which I forgot we have.) I turn it down.

The Celtics are starting slow this year and there is a slight chance I might get a lottery pick out of that. Furthermore, George is done...

12/19 -

We beat the Kings 102-93. Francis with 32 points, 12 boards, 2 blocks to lead us.

Chen with 25 points, 15 boards, 8 assists.

After the game, Chen tells me he wants to extend his contract.

He wants 3 years for 83 million. I give him what he wants.

Juan Hernangomez also wants an extension. 2 years for 20 million he wants. We go back and forth and settle in on 2 years for 17 million.

Falls led them in the win with 32 points and 7 boards.

Francis led us with 18 points, 7 boards, and 2 blocks.

Francis with 19 points, 11 boards, and 4 blocks.

Lucas is complaining he wants more PT He is a FA and I don't want to lose him but I can't give him more PT right now.

All-Star Weekend:

Francis dominates the Rookie/Elite All Star game and finishes with 29 points, 11 boards, and 2 blocks but his team loses 111-105.

6'7 SF Marty Andrew won the dunk contest as Chen skipped it.

Guy Ingram won the 3 point contest yet again.

Jermaine Rodgers is bummed that he didn't make the All-Star Team.

Chen led the East to a 133-108 win over the West. Chen won MVP with 37 points, 5 boards, 8 assists, and 2 steals. He shot 7 of 10 from the arc!

Francis only played 9 minutes and he had 4 points, 4 boards, and 3 steals.

2/27 -

Chen with an off night but we beat the Wizards anyway 90-81. Chen shot 4 of 18.

Rogers with 16 points and 4 boards.

Francis with 16 points, 6 boards, and a block.

2/28 -

The Celtics beat us 106-102

Jennings torched us for 42 points, 12 boards, and 3 blocks.

Chen with 27 points and 4 boards.

Okafor with 26 and 12.

Francis with 16 and 9.

At the end of Feb, we are 44-14. Doctors thought Simmons would be back around the All-Star break but he is healing slower than expected. They now predict early to mid April.

3/2 -

We beat the Clippers 116-78. Okafor with 27 points, 9 boards, and 5 blocks.

Francis with 22 points, 12 boards, and a block.

Chen with 18 points, 14 boards, 14 assists, 3 steals, and a block.

3/6 -

We beat the Hornets 108-99.

Francis led the way with 30 points, 10 boards.

Okafor with 21 and 9. Chen with 11 points, 12 boards, 5 assists, and 2 steals.

3/8 -

We lose to the Celtics 97-93 as Jennings again dominated us. They are now 31-31 and we aren't getting a lottery pick from them unless something drastic changes...

Okafor with 29 points in the loss and Francis with 20 points 10 boards. Chen shot a miserable 5 of 23.

3/7 -

He bounces back with a huge game to lead us to a 107-103 win over the Bulls.

Chen with 41 points, 10 boards, 10 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks. He shot 15 of 30.

Francis with 24 points and 10 boards. He shot 10 of 14.

3/9 -

We lose to the Pacers 100-99 and they have a cheap hit on Holland that breaks his nose. He will play the rest of the regular season with a mask on

Chen with 18 points, 9 boards, 9 assists, and 3 steals.

Francis with 18 points, 8 boards, and 3 blocks.

Wilcox with 15 points and 6 boards.

Chen and Francis are exactly like young Marbury and Garnett! ... except without any of the bad parts.

... and Marbury wasn't that good...

... and I bet Francis doesn't punch guys in the nutz like KG does...

... and I bet Francis could hit a shot on the 4th quarter...

ok, maybe it's not the same.
