Navy with a sack on 4th down! Go Navy! Also, I don't see how Weiss keeps his job if ND loses this game breaking such a long streak to top off a horrible year.

OT. ND does not kick FG with 45 secs on 4th and 8 on 25 and is sacked.

1.) the buyout would be ridiculous

2.) everything I've heard says ND officials had pretty much written this year off.

Considering how the next 2 recruiting classes are shaping up, it'd be stupid for ND to change coaches again and start over.

Tennessee extends the lead to 31-7 with 8 minutes left in the 3rd qtr.
If cbssportsline is correct, WR Quentin Hancock had 6 catches for 41 yds & the TD on the drive.

He had 7 catches for 48 yds on the season prior to today.

Weis is doing another great coaching job today. It's just a shame that Navy did so much better than Ty Willingham in recruiting 3 years ago...

Blocked punt for a TD, Vols lead La-Lafayette 38-7 middle of the 3rd quarter.

edit to add: Meanwhile, Alabama is back within 17-10 of LSU earlyish in the 2nd quarter.

Yeah, I know. But it's homecoming and you gotta schedule somebody.

Could be worse, they could have played Rice.

I told the family to watch Creer have a big day today. He hasn't got the carries I expected but at least he provided another highlight.

Texas isn't out of this one yet. Jamal Charles just had a 70+ yard TD run to cut the deficit to 7 with a little over 7 minutes to go. The Texas D needs to step up, which they haven't done all game.

That sure TD dropped by Cosby is looming large.
