OK, got role info - hope that others have as well. I'll wait for Schmidty to say that the game is underway before posting anything else on that subject.

I'm wondering if this is going to impact our initial deadline? Not that Day 1 is really sophisticated analysis day or anything, but if Schmidty doesn't give us the OK until mid-afternoon I'm concerned that some folks might not have an opportunity to check in, post, vote, etc.

My laptop died right as I was leaving work, and has been "Attempting Repairs" ever since then. Fricking Vista. I'm on my wife's computer now, and obviously don't have any of my info from the game on it.

She's at work, but told me on the phone to sign her up as "Mrs Schmidty". I said that was silly, but she insisted. I haven't had a chance to do it yet because of the computer stuff and then catching up on PMs.

Just to get the info out there, we have people over on Thursday nights and I will most likely not be online for deadline whether it is a 9pm or 10pm.

I'll change the official time (normally) to 9 p.m. EST. I'm PST, so it gives me more time at night for the game.

I'm wondering if it is my lack of knowing much about this theme that the game is based on, but mine doesn't seem to have anything to do with the story write up above. It doesn't give me any abilities or anything as far as I know. Not sure if I want to reveal my field yet either, so will just say if I really was studying this, my Real life wife would get "creeped" out from it
