I am assuming you guys did the quests outside of IF then. If so yeah, just take the deep run tram to SW, or in your case port to Shat, then you can still pick up the quests outside SW. Should work out well.

I will make my way to Goldshire tonight and we can blow that place up.
Lathum, you should be able to get out of Northshire Abbey in about 30 minutes.

Confirmed, we have a Paladin, Warrior, Shaman and a Rogue.
If we're going to run instances with this group, then we need ranged DPS, a Mage or Warlock would be good.

3.3 is going to be good stuff. Cross-realm instances is huge. Hopefully it means being able to find groups for low level instances.

The best things about 3.3 are the Misdirect change and the pet experience change.

mine too...i'm a little concerned about the change to volley, but the misdirect is going to be so much better...being able to make sure my first explosive shot followed by a multi goes to the MT is gonna be great...no more stupid 12 second timer |

i'm wondering if the fact that we can port to the instance means horde toons can get ported to Stocks and allies can get into RFC when they are level appropriate....i didnt run stocks til i was a 74...died 6 times getting past the guards and the other players in SW |

The only 5-man dungeon in vanilla WoW I haven't run with my warlock is RFC. Wonder if I can give it a try with this patch....

when you enter an instance, you actually leave your regular Realm (lothar for instance) and enter an instance server that is shared with about a dozen other Realms that are part of your Battlegroup. When you play PvP battlegrounds (which are actually instances), you are actually playing with people from other realms in your battlegroup...the same thing now can be done for regular instances...you can enter the Random PUG list, and as soon as there are 5 guys on the list from any other Realms in your battlegroup, they will launch you into the instance. by increasing the number of people looking for group by 12, it should make it ridiculously easy to get into PUGs...i know you hate them, but i dont plan on ever doing another quest with either of my healers...i figure i should be able to grind levels out in pugs pretty fast. When WotLK hit, all of those folks you saw getting realm first level 80s did it by running instances. With the right group composition, you can gain exp pretty quickly in instances.

i honestly always wondered how they did that...from 70 to 80 in 26 hours is unreal...it took me 7-9 per level after 75 but i never set foot in an instance. i have a 48 holy priest and a 51 resto druid...based on the number of "need a healer" requests in the trade channel, I should be able to pug up pretty quickly, and I'm sure as long as i dont suck and we dont wipe, people will be putting me on friends |

Premonition, the #1 guild in the US had a comprehensive guide for doing it on their website. A healer and the MT of my guild at the time followed it. They only played 5-6 hours a night doing it, but that's what they did.

WoW.com: The new WoW Insider has a write up of the new Dungeon Finder that is replacing Looking For Group.
This is damn sexy.

That's not completely fair. The realm first on my server was a pretty normal guy that also raided and worked. He took a weeks vacation from work when WoLK dropped in order to take at stab at the realm first. Hell, I was level 77 when our realm first 80 happened so I was pretty far along as well at that point.

Hard to say. Clearly there are still a ton of BoP items around. To date, Blizzard has introduced a bunch of items as BoA specifically for items that would make leveling alts easier (heirloom item) or using those alts at 80 easier (Helm & Shoulder enchants). I doubt we'll see everything that's BoP eventually become BoA. |

No, bind on account are badge vendor gear in Dal that you buy with an 80 and send down to alts to help them level faster.

the new LFG queue is AWESOME!!!
ran 5 or 6 heroics last night back to back, stacked up about 25 or 30 badges, got a couple awesome drops, and despite what people on the wow forums are saying, didnt run into a single monumental douchebag |

how will it affect the economy? the only impact i can see is that since there is a gold reward at the end of every run along with the emblems, i made about 300 gold between that and the BoP items that i vendored, so making money got easier for me (which was nice since my toon was BROKE) |

lots of ways People running more instances means more drops. That means more stuff on the auction house. Simple supply and demand principles. And that doesn't even factor in all the random mats people won roles for and just want to get rid of. |

I have toons on four realms, both horde and alliance. My alliance toons are much higher level though (an 80 and three 70+ toons). I created a druid and mage on Sentinels (alliance), the druid is level 9 right now. The others are: Durotan (alliance) Cho'gall (horde) Dark Iron (horde) |

alot of the drops get disenchanted right in the instance (much to the dislike of enchanters) so the market for those mats might go down, but the market for actual enchants will will go up, since more people will have more mats that dont cost 3 arms and 4 legs. as far as drops go, lets use my example from last night...me and Daxor ran 5 heroics...lets say there were 15 green or better drops, and none of them got DE'd...statistically, we should each have gotten 3 drops for a total of 30 items that came back to the Lightninghoof AH. if we had run those same 5 heroics with all five guys being from the same realm, there would have been 75 items coming back to the AH. if anything, this is going to create a seller's market (i guess you didnt really say if you thought it was going to be positive or negative impact) |

Yes, everyone that wants to run Deadmines with us needs to get to 15 or better. Sal is healing on Saltana and I will tank with Redi.
Just a bit of instance fun.
