Coffee don't run basic games.
Doctor Who themed, and while I didn't include actual batshit insane time travel rules, it's still a complex one. |

Oh man, time travel would be awesome.
Okay, well I'll probably run a fairly basic game then between you and Pass. |

I do have a quasi time travel mechanic, but we tried a real time warp game once. I seem to recall it made my head hurt.

I can think of one way that a time travel mechanic might really work. I'll have to work on that.

I have a simple ruleset almost ready to run: The Jungle Book (Kipling, not Disney).
Could run whenever. Last edited by CrimsonFox : 03-18-2011 at 05:24 PM. |

I gave Coffee Warlord a head's up, so I think he'll be good to go. So I think the list is:
1. Coffee Warlord 2. Crimson Fox (if he still wants) 3. The Jackal I'd like to get back on the list too, once people have had a chance to throw their names in. Now that I've got the basic game done, I've got several others written up and ready to go. |

Gladly will jump back in line at some point. Others can go first though.
Are we at something like this? 1. Coffee Warlord 2. Crimson Fox (if he still wants) 3. The Jackal 4. Autumn (for his non-vanilla game ) 5. EagleFan (will let others jump in front who haven't run games lately) |

I definitely still want. I've been getting pointers and feedback from Abe so I'm ready after Coffee.

I don't know that it really matters to me when I go, but I think I had next after Coffee (See Game of Thrones references the last page). I don't mind waiting, but I can also be set to go when Coffee's game is done, too. Whatever works.

No problem Chief, if you want after Coffee. I'm ready to go whenever. Eager to run one. Mine is a simple game (with roles) if that helps decide where to wedge mine.

I'm sorry, Chief, I forgot to plug you in, you're right. So I think we're at:
1. Coffee Warlord 2. Chief Rum 2. Crimson Fox 3. The Jackal 4. Autumn 5. EagleFan (will let others jump in front who haven't run games lately) 6. Danny (after May) |

That's no problem at all. Like I said, I am fine with waiting, too. Just figured I would make sure I was on the list somewhere.
Glad to be locked into #2 for now, since that means I will have to wrap some of the little details in my game. Just a little warning, I am likely to be moving in the next 2-3 weeks. For obvious reasons, that can cause Internet outages for a few days, as I transition over to a new place. If as CW's game is wrapping up, I see that moving will happen right in the middle of the time frame of my game, I will need to be pushed back. So #3 (Crimson Fox), you should be ready to go. In fact, CF, is this your first game run here? If so, I think it would be smarter for me to let you go ahead of me anyway, if that's okay, Autumn. Not only does it get me out of the moving window, but I am sure CF is anxious to run his game, whereas I have run a handful of games already.

It's perfect, because it allows me to fix my stupid numbering mistake!
1. Coffee Warlord 2. Crimson Fox 3. Chief Rum 4. The Jackal 5. Autumn 6. EagleFan (will let others jump in front who haven't run games lately) 7. Danny (after May) |

Hate to juggle things up, but after some thought I have decided I better postpone my point on the list. My scheduled move is now not until May 7, and it's going to make my life pretty hectic all the way up until then. Toss in the likely usual adjustment period after a move, and you're probably looking at June before I am really free to try to run a game.
That's also obvious to me from my play in CW's current game, where I just have been too busy to give it and CW the attention they deserve (so it's a good thing the wolves killed me). For that reason, I'm also probably going to take a game or two off so I can concentrate on RL, and then I'll come back as strong as ever some time in May. Autumn, please move me to behind Danny's (after May) entry, and give me the same qualification.

Might have to move me back one game, not positive yet. I can probably have something going by the time CF's game is done, but no guarantee I'll have internet. Grr.

No worries, Jackal. I've got a couple of games already basically written up, so I'll most likely be able to go whenever.

I have some ideas forming related to a game on the high seas, likely with historical figures, and maybe some fictional ones.

I have a cool idea for my first game, but I want to take some time to flesh out a number of thoughts with it and I'm unsure how much time I'll have to devote to that. So with that, if you could please add me to the end of the list and I'll see where I am when my time cones.

And my semester will official be over as of friday, so while I still need to finish my comps, I am now ready to run a game. Now that we are more active, going to bring back my When Worlds Colide game once I am up.

Yeah, I tried to get it going during our slow time and didn't want to do it an injustice with a 13 or 14 person game.

For those that were not around, the game I am running each person will pick either a character or multiple characters to control. It will work similar to the marvel game where characters have hit points and attack values along with special abilities. When all of your characters are dead, you are removed from the game. Additionally, there will be random fictional / real people / characters and events that make their way into the game and people will have to allocate their characters to various choices each day which can provide rewards and risks. For those that play board games, sort of a worker placement type mechanic.
