As for 1st day voting strategy, the only game I have ever been right about my day 1 vote was the game where we had a night 0 and neon_chaos luckily nailed a bad guy night 0.. Of course I was lynched day 3 that game and we ended up losing it anyways!

I guess I am all ears for what day 1 strats should be. I have yet to find one I like. Usually all I learn from day 1 is that alot of people don't know who the bad guys are. I don't have a problem jumping on someone else who has a vote, but give me some reason to I suppose..

There has been at least one game where day 1 followed a night 0 - so there was some possibility of having some information. Otherwise, the only success villagers have really had day 1 is in cheating, by sending out codes or indirect quotes from their role pms.

He and BrianD seem to be the only ones that have not checked in yet, so flip a coin and I came up with Lathum this time.

That's a bit unfair considering the fact that the game wasn't even supposed to begin until tomorrow, and yet you are voting for someone who hasn't logged on yet? A bit anxious to vote for someone?

No, its about a collection of farm animals who revolt against their human owners and create their own animal utopian society. Unfortunately, certain animals wish to have power over the others, and a totalitarian struggle ensues between good and evil

The deadline for Day 1 is Monday at 9PM Eastern. If all votes are in and a majority wish to end it earlier, we can.

Alan, my personal opinion is that the best Day 1 strategy is to have the group collectively identify a small (2-3) number of targets and see where the voting patterns fall. Pretty much like any other day without evidence.

What sucks are the many varied reasons for coming up with that initial list. Usually they are pretty whimsical, and/or involve meta-game logic, but I'm pretty sure that is the best way to go on Day 1.

It is strange that Anxiety, on day 1, would come out and "defend" you, though.

If anyone's wondering how I did that...

I realize I have to get a vote in the next few hours as I won't be online again before the deadline. I hate voting on the first day and usually just vote Schmidty. It didn't dawn on me to vote Schmidty until a few minutes ago.

So I clicked on the first page, noticed he wasn't there. Went to the quick reply window and typed the stuff up. Never saw Swaggs comments until I had already posted my vote.
