I didn't get it at first but then you have to remember that the Raiders just somehow beat the Eagles. Then it makes sense.

haha I've thought about it! I liked the theme of this game, but don't want to play when the Mr. is moderating - too stressful! Always worrying about what can and can not be said! I will definitely be following along.

Because they went from one coast to the other. Teams regularly play under themselves when they have to travel coast to coast.

Okay, got around to reading the rule set. Pretty interesting. Mostly basic roles, but there are some twists, like the Shaggy role, or the Fred-Daphne dynamic.

Shaggy essentially becomes somewhat of a one time seer and a good foundation for a COT down the road, so I hope he makes good reads on who will likely be protected.

As already noted, 18 players is an interesting number, because you can't really be sure how the numbers work out. The rules state Fred and 11 friends, and it seems like Scooby is one of those friends. So that's 12 of 18 in Fred's friend group, meaning six others left over. But there are only five wolf/cultist roles.

My guess is that actually, Scooby is not counting in that 11 friend group, so we would have Fred and his 11 friends (including most of the gang), and then Scooby is the 13th. Then the reminder are the listed wolf/cultist roles.

Just to be sure...

Schmidty, are there vanilla wolves in this game, Monsters that aren't named in the rules, but have no additional powers?

OK, there are a couple of people that I will not be voting for on Day 1. Reasons also provided.

1.) Coffee Warlord - winner of the "gets a pass for knowing the character" that I listed before the game started. Also, he probably has a "past injustices" claim that might give him a Day 2 pass as well (no promises).
2.) GoldenEagle - bowing out for the good of the game in EF's game has earned him some Day 1 immunity from my votes for a good length of time.
3.) EagleFan - because I'm not allowed to.

Vote is very much subject to change, but I'm not sure how much availability I have between now and deadline. If I have a bunch, I'll be an active participant in the conversation. If not, the vote will stay here.

Note - there is nothing good/bad in terms of post analysis in this vote. Just putting a vote on a player who seems to have enjoyed some pretty deep runs as of late. I'm all for better reasons for casting a vote if/when they emerge.

Bold added by me.

This is total BullSnot claim. Let's go back the last three months of WW play:

Going backwards through the last three months of WW games:

42 Attempts - Killed Day Five
Salem Witch Trial - Killed Night Two
WW United - Did not play
The Prom - Did not play
Seville High - GM'd
24 - Did not play
Labyrinth - Killed Day Three

So, in the last three months, I didn't play in three of the games, Gm'd one, and days on 2 or three in two of the three I did play in. How is that going deep?

Since:

A). This is just as bad as Lathum's vote for reason other than this game

B). It's blatently wrong

C). It's against me

Unvote Lathum
Vote hoopsguy

I'll amend my earlier statement - I can't recall the last time that Abe was voted out. The list that Abe provided shows that he has been night killed but not lynched in games over the past three months (Abe's data, I trust it).

Look, it is a Day 1 vote and it certainly is not personal. I'm fine with a vote-back because that happens frequently with early Day 1 votes. But I wasn't trying to make up some complete falsehood here.

Labyrinth was a day lynch. So of the only three games I was a player, one lynch, one night kill, and one other. That;'s not a real strong sample size.

Caught up. Nice costume KWhit. I understand why EF would want to vote for me.

Anyhow, just to let you guys know I have some problems with Google Chrome at home. I'm at work and able to check in, but I think I'm going to have to go back to IE for this game. When I check FOFC in Google Chrome, I get the ad at the top and the background, but no posts. Strange problem.

As of post 136:

Day 1 vote

Chief Rum 1 - Lathum (87)
Raiders Army 1* - EagleFan (88)
Abe Sargent 1 - hoopsguy (121)
hoopsguy 1 - Abe Sargent (128)
KWhit 1 - Coffee Warlord (136)

* - 1 of the votes on this player can't be changed

VOTE PURDUEBRAD

Not wild about the candidates thus far, so at the risk of diluting the pool even more, I'm going to throw in someone who hasn't had a lot of scrutiny the past couple games I've played.

Well, I was going to jump in and throw another candidate in but that does no good at this point. I will instead go for the big risk, a second on somebody. So tempting to vote Hoops but I agree with what someone else said about Abe, lots of Abe chatter early, which seems like a departure.

vote Abe

normal for me, was just chilling, drinking beers, playing cards, watching Dexter.

I don't have a job, so weeknights really don't mean anything for me. I think I feel crappy because i didn't eat much.
