Since this is my very first time having this ability, let's see how badly I can **** it up. Maybe I can blow it as badly as the umpire that called back Delgado's homer. We'll see...

Sorry I wasn't here at deadline, work interruptus yet again.
I would have moved perhaps, I'm not necesarilly trusting the reveal, it could be a wolfy move, no guarentees in the rules that ANY role is here. |

I took a look at the first two votes on me. I would argue that my thoughts are correct. I'm a much more valuable villager than I am a dangerous wolf so I was genuinely surprised at the first two votes on me and the reasoning (1 because I've lived to the end of games and 1 as a placeholder that I don't think ever returned).

You all realize you are in some trouble here. The howling has gotten more pronounced each night in the village. You all decide it is time to take action.
After much deliberation and back and forth you decide PurdueBrad must be lynched. He is mobbed and dragged to the gallows, just as the nuece is almost around his neck he steps forward. "Ahem. I will not be lynched today." He reveals himself as THE DUKE! He points to Eaglefan and says " Here is the mangy cur that must be dealt with today" The mob turns on Eaglefan and begins to beat him. With his last dying motion Eaglefan powers through their blows and lashes out slitting KWhit from neck to torso Spilling his heart, which was indeed black, from his chest! Eaglefan collapses dead beside him. Eaglefan was the Brutal Wolf! KWhit was the sorcerer! Night Action coming up. |

*shrug* Give me a better day 1 logic than I used. I was just trying to be fair, seems the same people often get voted out early so I went elsewhere. I had no reasons to save or condemn anyone so left my vote where it was. If you killed me fine, we'll all have a good laugh after the game! |

the fact that the duke was in the game gives me even less reason to believe Clap
what do we give the odds that if there are 7 villagers, we have 3 named roles among us (the sorcerer was a villager role) |

You all wake up in the morning, present and accounted for. Could it be Eaglesfan was the only enemy?
Day 2 has begun. Deadline 8:00 PM EST. I may be a little late because of class. |

Sorcerer was a bad villager role though which I think lends itself to there being more villager roles, ESPECIALLY with the brutal in the game.

I think, even if you aren't willing to put him in the COT, for now...you have to hold off on Claphamsa. I am willing to put him in my COT though, meaning I have Claph and myself, leaving 5 unknown.

Agreed, that is another distinct possibility. Like I said though, rather than risk voting off the possible BG, I would prefer to look elsewhere. |

I would agree with that. I guess the next question would be .. do you think that the wolves would have voted together (assuming 2 of them), and if so would you then go after Pass or myself? Or think they split their vote and went elsewhere? If elsewhere, do you think Kwhit tried to drop them any hints by who he voted for? And it backfired by making them off him? |

Oh, Kwhit voted for Pass, who did vote with Eaglefan...
I guess those two thoughts don't tie as well together as I thought. |

My thoughts would be that KWhit's vote was basically a throw away and they went after him thinking it was safe. Yeah Alan, I am suspicious of you and Pass. For now, I'm on Pass, the person that put the last nail in my coffin. |

That is kind of where I was going with my thoughts above.. I am guessing you are voting using my line of thinking here? I am just thinking if I am the sorcerer.. how do I let the wolves know? By voting for each of them early on? That could easily backfire if the sorcerer dies early (as he did) though.. Passacaglia was on Clap, and happily moved when Clap revealed, which I am sure he would have done as a villager or wolf though. |

By throwaway vote, I mean a vote that for a wolf or good guy ultimately wouldn't mean anything because nobody was following it at the time.

wow, how great is that for a night 1?? Damn. Poor wolves must be wishing they'd craweled in a hole and stayed there this game.
So, if we don't want to go after clap, and PB is trusted (duh) that leaves 4 of us. Who's the next target? |

I'm on Passacaglia or you for the simple reason of the timing of the votes. Either you on me early/quick because you would know I wasn't one of the wolves or Passacaglia late because he had to get off Claphamsa (otherwise it would look bad) and he could seal the deal on me, again a known non-wolf if he's the wolf. |

Well, the other hand of the coin is.. the wolves wouldn't know Kwhit was the sorcerer, so would they kill someone that was voting for one of their own and possibly risk people coming that way after the night kill? If Kwhit hadn't been the sorcerer, would they have risked him being a villager who was killed pointing at Passacaglia?
it seems that hardly ever happens in WW games here these days, but would they have taken that chance? |

I'll understand if you want to come after me for some kind of revenge vote.. but you really should look at my reason for voting you and when better. I obviously was gone all day and unsure if I would get back in time (I am traveling for work).. so when exactly would you have preferred that I vote? |

I have to get ready for softball but village, I almost didn't use my Duke power because I was afraid of screwing it up. I'm glad it went well but it was luck IMHO. You guys know my top two candidates right now:
suspicious Pass Alan T. uncertain RendeR Saldana Jackal trust (at least for me) Claphamsa Me |

Right now I'm considering voting for TheJackyl. I don't know if the wolves would have killed someone who had voted for one of them on day 1, so not sure if I'm ready to leap at Pass just yet. The Jackyl had what appeared to be a throw away vote on Eaglefan when it wouldn't likely matter (plus he didnt really post much when he popped in before deadline, so kind of appeared to be staying low to me)

Hehe, no, but like I said, I've had a decent villager run lately so I was surprised at the early vote and the reasoning as kind of "how dare a villager live long into games" and if you're wolf, it wouldn't be a bad play then to get me out early. But as I said, it's just suspicion now and I'm actually more on the final nail in the coffin, a person that was on both Claph and then me (meaning if he's a wolf, he would know we were both villagers). Bad voting luck, maybe, but it's worth looking at and I'm more willing to look at Pass over you. |

Sorry to bolt guys, especially when it seems like we can have some good discussion. I'll try to catch up some tonight. I'm honestly not trying to drive a vote any which way (except maybe off of Claphamsa for now) but I'm trying to share what I think as I would be a likely target night 2 as I'm trusted OR could slip through since I have no powers anymore and the wolf can catch someone more valuable possibly.
