One hit today...
http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...bff7c8ed884010 Just a nice, local hit from here in Lewisville. Overnight I moved back up to #110. Let's see if I can move up any higher while I'm in the Fredericksburg area this weekend, spreading George bills in the Hill Country.

Si I've got a bunch of hits over the past week. Here we go...
http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...a78927c003476a A hit from over in The Colony, just to the NE of Lewisville. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...bfa4b3123ce3b7 A Dallas hit. Looks like the got it at Jack In The Box...yum! http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...41ef656fafb0d0 A two-hitter from Dallas. This one is kinda cool because the first hit was actually from my sister, and the new hit on it was her first ever hit! http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...ed58f6ea11b347 Another Dallas hit. This one wound up in a church somehow... http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...3aa0e858c01608 Awesome, my first Washington state hit! And not only that, but it's a two-hitter as well! http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...958f56572bb6b9 A Flower Mound hit...it didn't go very far. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...bcc470f4d41852 Wow, a three-hitter! And it looks like this sucker is trying with all its might to not enter Oklahoma... http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...2b347b715178e1 Kick ass, another new state! This bill wound up in Wichita, Kansas... http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...5dfa65845d927a This hit is from Sanger, a small town in the metroplex. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...ab5bddd949a191 A Lewisville hit. The cool thing is that it wound up in the hands of a fellow bartender. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...e28e209056ae47 Just up the road in Frisco. Looks like a bank teller hit it... http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...5437517fe2f800 Another Flower Mound hit. I've finally made it past 110 and up to #109 in the state. Meanwhile, my dad is still at #25. It looks like he found somewhere to log in up in Alaska...he only has two days of inactivity.

And I just got another hit...
http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...ff29a2ac7a7349 Another local Lewisville hit. I just wonder where the Xerox Cafe is? I've never heard of it...

A couple of hits overnight.
http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...a201e88c706224 Another boring, no comment Dallas hit. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...ea84501edc9e85 Another Dallas hit...actually, I guess it should be Irving since it was found at DFW airport. Alas... http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...5c48b347d5239f This one is interesting...it's a hit on a ten dollar bill. I don't get many of those, this is only the ninth ten spot that I've gotten a hit on out of 141 entered. Also, it's a Florida hit, my second from that state. And last but not least, I had no idea at all that cigar shops sold coffee-ice cream drinks... I just entered in a few bills. Those, combined with bills that I entered yesterday break down as follows: $1 - 46 $5 - 5 $10 - 2 $20 - 9 And a pretty decent jump overnight! I went from #109 up to #105...inching closer and closer to a double digit ranking!

A bunch of hits since Thursday...
http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...2107579440701d Another boring Dallas hit. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...381ca6a52b8884 A Fort Worth hit, received as change at a movie theater. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...6b77312dd7879c Brewster, MA...my first Massachusetts hit. Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll bounce around a few other New England states as well. This was also my 300th Where's George hit. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...17ef4090acbbfb A boring Denton hit. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...4f4e8d49d5f72b This one REALLY ticks me off. It should have been my first Nevada hit since the person got it at the Mirage in Vegas. But NO! They brought it back home with them and entered it as a hit in...Flower Mound, just up the road from me. Where I've already got 10 other hits. Sigh... http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...118c2a3976e1d6 A Houston hit. He got it from a guy... http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...3bbbe0977089a2 This is the second bill of mine that my dad's friendly teller has found for him. It's interesting, though, that my dad and I both have hits on the same bill that was first entered by someone else. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...ce0c7f723a5121 Very cool, someone just found my bill lying around in a parking lot. I wonder how it got away from the person who lost it? http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...19251f2a2d5919 Another Fort Worth hit, found at a flea market. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...6dfcf5934cad4f A hit from Seguin, TX, where we stayed when the fiancee' and I went tubing last weekend. I was excited to see some results from out trip... Success! I've broken the Top 100 in Texas! I am now number 98 in the state, and have been moving up fairly constantly as of late. I also renewed my Friend of George membership the other day...$36 for another six months worth of tons of stats and cool maps.

A couple hits since yesterday...
http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...8a5abe7008593c Monroe, Louisiana...my sixth LA hit. That gets LA out of a tie with Cali and into third place in hits by state behind Texas and Oklahoma. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...eb282b1fedf93d Rowlett, TX. Mmmmm...Whataburger. I moved back down a couple of spots overnight and am right now at #100 in Texas. I have a bunch of bills to enter in this afternoon, so it looks like I might drop down a few more spots since my hit rate will suffer.

Only one hit today...
http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...349e1e05e39818 Whoa...another Whataburger hit. Two days in a row!!! I actually moved back up a spot to #99 instead of dropping like I thought I would. And I entered in ten bills from work last night... $1 - 5 $5 - 2 $20 -3

http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...7c3c6d308a1825
Carrollton, TX...sachmo's 'hood. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...8af61343b4f787 Fort Worth, TX http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...07dce320b4a661 Duncanville, TX. Somebody got it back as change on the tollway... http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...8095eef6badc0e Longview, TX...kinda close to the LA border. It's a rare $20 hit, and an even rarer $20 two-hitter. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...ad4efd79edbb2d Another Carrollton hit. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...549737a7f7cf1b Dallas, TX. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...7dde797050fa9a Crescent, OK...looks kinda like northern OK. Found at a truck stop...no surprise there. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...f6f79ebdcef56b Dallas, TX http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...ef1364589fdbeb The Colony, TX. Two hits in five days...nice. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...a5a52c23a23b0e Another hit from The Colony. This one excites me a little because it was found at the Lewisville Walmart. I live RIGHT across the street from that Walmart and probably spend cash there at least four days a week and this is the first time anyone had directly said that they got a bill from there. Finally, some of my hard work validated. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...e6185947f45c4c Flower Mound, TX http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...649ac907cfaae5 Frisco, Tx. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...f2ddf02c74b596 http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...924ffb4538ca43 http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...723ce75647c1e3 http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...45f54e58df2703 These four hits made me laugh. These are bills that I originally gave to my fiancee' for my half of dinner at an Indian restaurant on Sunday night. Well, it turns out that Marisa gave some of those bills to her friend and co-worker Kishia to pay for some scrapbooking stuff, and then Kishia gave it to another friend/co-worker named Krystal as change for a ten dollar bill. It was kinda of fun trying to figure out how they got from me to Krystal. And at least Krystal was cool enough to enter them...I had to have words with Marisa and Kishia for being too lazy to enter them. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...0cae067fe6b7cf Dallas, TX http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...fe4f7899439c32 Plano, TX. Glad to see, once again, that one of my bills was used for a tip. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...d89c2de29fb66d Allen, TX. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...9ec810013b26a3 Denton, TX http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...810aaa9e82542e Grand Prairie, TX. I wouldn't doubt the bill was found at the horse track... http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...b447743fa35ea9 Forney, TX. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...c6b1273f85f8f8 Southport, NC...my second North Carolina hit! Kinda weird that it was sent to somebody from Texas to NC without being entered in Texas, but whatever... I dropped down quite a bit earlier last week (like down to #110) but I've nearly made it back to where I was. I'm currently #101 in the state. The next bill of mine that gets hit that is a first timer will be my 300th bill to get a hit! I also exceeded 4000 bills entered yesterday.

Oh, and the previous bill was my 300th bill to get a hit!
Here's a new one... http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...5e297ed2bb6cfa A Fort Worth hit for a bill found in Dallas.

I got some 50 odd hits during my little hiatus, but I won't subject you to all of those. Here are a few from the past couple of days, though.
http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...c7a37889999b95 A rare sawbuck hit, made it out to Plano. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...27720da31527ef A two-hit fiver, up north in Greenville. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...93a2478a61c059 A single that made it out to the small town of Justin. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...fa6303d58b0982 http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...a4d78165681866 Two hits by the same person who found the bills in Buffalo, TX (wherever that may be) yet entered them in as Denton. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...c999c73d1eb436 A two-hitter single, made it to Dallas proper. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...fb85b8df9dad08 Wylie, Tx. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...5dfa65845d927a Another two-hit single, out in Pilot Point. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...0e364595619bac Another frustrating hit. Entered in as Houston but actually found in my home town of El Paso...where I have yet to get a hit. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...f241e7a6dee17b A single that made it way out west to Seminole, TX, right along the New Mexico border. Maybe if I'm lucky it'll make it over to the Land of Enchantment and I'll get my first NM hit. I'm up to 342 bills with hits for a total of 384 hits. I got my first NY hit over the past week, as well as a North Carolina and my first Alabama. My hit map is surely but slowly filling in... I also have a very good opportunity for some new states this weekend. My fiancee is going on a trip to New York with her mother, and I'm going to give her a bunch of bills to spend. I'm really hoping that some of those bills will make it out of the state and get me some new New England hits! I've climbed up to #96 in Texas while my father (and his 1784 total hits) is holding steady at #26...

Up to #95 in the state!

Woot! Philly, baby! My first Pennsylvania hit! I'm not positive, but I'm pretty damn sure that the bill is one of the ones that I gave my fiancee' to spend on her New York trip since I entered it only three days ago. My baby done so good for me!

Just an update...I'm still entering bills like crazy and collecting hits. As of yesterday I entered in my 10,000th bill and I've collected 881 hits. I have hits in 37 states, DC, one in the Netherlands, and one in the UK. The only states I'm missing are Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Maryland, North Dakota, New Hampshire, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, and Wyoming.
Currently I'm ranked #65 in Texas but have been as high as #62. My father is still in the same general area he was when I first started this dynasty...#24. So I'm getting there. Slowly but surely, I'm getting there. I've put a serious dent in the size of his bill count lead, and at the rate I'm currently going (about 500 bills a month entered more than him) I should be able to catch him in bills entered in about another year...

Nah, not craziness...though my wife would say that I'm probably obesessed.
Awww...what the hell. I'll go ahead and start posting my hits again. Four hits so far today: http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...320f331c16d18e Found in Irving, home of Texas Stadium, in some companies cafeteria. Nothing too exciting there... http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...dcb8fd6356ff86 Princeton, TX. I think I need to follow this dude's method for making money. It couldn't hurt, could it? http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...40514f729a49c3 New Boston, TX. What's up with all these hits in faux New England cities? http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...9b587c3e697d98 Sin City, baby! This is my third Nevada hit, but my first one in Vegas! I'll show y'all my updated stats here in a moment...

Those are the basic stats...number of bill entered, total value of those bills (I've already suprassed my dad in this stat since he pretty much only enters one dollar bills), George Score, ranking in nation and ranking in state, etc... This shows how many of each bill I've entered and shows the percentage of hits they've received... Same basic info as the last report, but sorted by series instead of denomination... This breaks the info down by the year that I entered them in... And this one breaks it down by the month. Canada hasn't been very good to me... My state hit map My county hit map

I woke up with a hit in my in-box this morning:
http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...c56a8f41c1b1af Dallas, TX. This is at least the second bill of mine that this person has hit. Her George profile is kinda hard to forget...

I came home to three hits, all of them rather exciting.
http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...2923ef9d29c566 Nothing too exciting about the location (Greenville, TX), but it's a two-hitter and those are always nice. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...be37372837f349 Novi, Michigan. Only my fourth Michigan hit. Six more hits until Michigan goes blue on my hit map! http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...af29de38e5f0ec Kailua Kona, Hawaii. WOOHOO!!! My first Hawaii hit! I was afraid that it was going to take me years to get a hit there!!! I entered in 69 bills this evening: $1 - 49 $5 - 14 $10 - 2 $20 - 4 I've moved up one spot and am in the 64th spot in Texas...

Here are my hits from the past few days...
http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...127d736d9df7c0 Irving, TX. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...4711e9d89663f2 Two Michigan hits in two days. Very nice! AND it's a two-hitter... http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...64cb8cb536128e Denton, TX http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...8e25aedc575ae5 Denton, TX. This and the previous hit were hit by the same person...two bills that I entered back in early November. Must have got them from the bank or something. http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...faf9a5a59ac48f Wichita Falls, TX http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...e02abfb81bc62c Edgewood, TX. A fairly rare twenty dollar bill hit. It's going towards the purchase of hay for horses... http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...daf3453e17b679 Flower Mound, TX. ANOTHER two hitter! http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...c7a37889999b95 Irving, TX. Wait a sec...doesn't this look awfully familiar? Oh yeah, this is the same bill as my FIRST hit of the day. A seven hour turnaround, not too shabby. And it was entered at Toyota of Irving, the place where I bought my car a few years ago. Awesome. Oh, and this bill is now a three hitter...only my ninth!

Overnight hits:
http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...e2c5588eb12c3b Houston, TX http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...c744a3cac4b488 http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...e50c41b7f47d63 http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...dfb940be9cadb4 Fort Worth, TX for all three, which were given as change to the same person at the OG. Honestly, as many of these bills as I give out at work I really don't see many hits that can be directly traced to the OG. So it's nice to see someone entering them in first thing... http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...129e97175901f3 Lancaster, TX

Just curious, how many, if any, bills have you entered as two-hitters into WG.com?
That is, how many times have YOU received & entered the second (or more) hit on a bill?

I have hit a total of 52 bills. 20 of those are what we would call Wild Georges...George bills that I've find out and about. 20 more are bills that my father has given to me for one reason or another and I've entered. The other 12...well, I don't remember exactly where they came from. Some I know came from a friend of my father's in Iowa who is also a Georger. I'll research it further tomorrow for you...
Today I got my butt kicked at work and made a bunch of money. Here's what I entered when I got home: $1 - 55 $5 - 2 $10 - 2 $20 - 3 No hits today so far, but one late last night... http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...efe152c0be35ba Waco, TX. A rare $20 hit, from a fellow Georger down in Wacko. Moved up another spot to #63 in the state.

Dola-
Oh, I almost forgot! When I was entering my bills today I hit a STEALTH bill! Stealth bills are bill that are entered into Where's George but aren't marked in any way. It is EXTREMELY rare that stealths are ever hit. For instance, if you check the profile of the bill I hit you'll see that the people who entered it have entered in over 20,500 stealth bills and have received a mere 38 hits...a .17% hit percentage! My wife thinks I'm a total geek for getting so excited about this Wild George, but I think that it's totally cool... http://www.wheresgeorge.com/report.p...e5a3f&entcnt=0

How are you stamping your bills? Front or back? Or both? What color ink?
Are you careful and deliberate about it, or are you just cranking them out and stamping wherever? |

So, after almost two years and 103 bills entered, I finally got my first hit (three at once, actually). My hit rate is now a whopping 2.91%, and I'm ranked 1,261 out of 8,925 in the state of California. At this rate, I'll start my "I'm going to catch JeeberD..." thread in about 35 years or so.

Oh... one observation. The bills that got hits were pretty quick... less than three days after I entered them. And they're from the first batch I started entering using red ink on the stamp, instead of black. I suspect the brighter color makes a difference. If I could find hot pink stamp ink I might try that...

Front and back in red ink and I stamp the bills in pretty much the same spot (on singles, sideways to the left of George on the front and on the back the bottom line with the site address in the white spot under the large "ONE" in the middle of the bill, with the rest of the bills I stamp sideways to the right of the portrait on the front and sideways on the blank white area to the far left on the back). I've been getting hits like crazy the past few days, like 8-10 a day. Florida has entered the 10+ hit club for me, joining Texas (781 hits), Oklahoma (41 hits), Louisiana (14 hits), and California (14 hits). I've moved up as far as 61 in the past few days and have dropped down as far as 64. Currently I'm back at 61. Oh! And just another 26 hits until I have 1,000 total!!!

Hmmm, very interesting! I've been considering getting a new stamp...my current one is starting to wear out a bit after stamping the front and back of 7900+ bills since last May. My only concern is that you can only get it in black ink...a no-go as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for the link, though! And congrats on your first hits! Remember, the more bills you Enter, Mark, and Spend (EMS is the George credo) the more hits you get!

Yeah, I think red ink (or some other bright color) is critical to getting the bills noticed. My first 70 or so bills were in black ink, and I think that's why it took so long to get a hit. |

What does your stamp say? Does it just have the address?
Can you post a pic of an average bill after you've stamped it? |
