Week 4- Big 12 vs. American
West Virginia (2-3)- 71 vs. Akron (1-4)- 80
Oklahoma State (4-1)- 61 vs. Louisville (3-2)- 87 Oklahoma (3-2)- 74 vs. South Florida (1-4)- 59 TCU (2-3)- 55 vs. Temple (2-3)- 76 Texas Tech (3-2)- 73 vs. San Francisco (1-4)- 80 Texas (3-2)- 80 vs. UCF (2-3)- 67 North Dakota St. (4-1)- 65 vs. SMU (2-3)- 83 Kansas St. (3-2)- 50 vs. Memphis (4-1)- 71 Baylor (4-1)- 81 vs. Rutgers (1-4)- 79 New Mexico St. (0-5)- 75 vs. UConn (3-2)- 72 Kansas (5-0)- 61 vs. Houston (0-5)- 67 Utah St. (3-2)- 72 vs. Boise St. (3-2)- 74 Iowa St. (2-3)- 84 vs. UNLV (3-2)- 61 New Mexico (2-3)- 63 vs. Cincinnati (1-4)- 57 Wichita St. (3-2)- 72 vs. Indiana St. (0-5)- 63 Ohio (3-2)- 62 vs. San Diego St. (3-2)- 69 Big 12/American Wrap-Up Obviously the shocker of the group is winless Houston beating undefeated Kansas. Nice matchup between Wichita St. and Indiana St. who in reality both play in the MVC, but in this dynasty, they play in different conferences. Was also surprised to see how easily Louisville handled Oklahoma St. Same with Memphis handling Kansas St. Final Tally: American wins 9-7 |

Week 4- Pac 12 vs. SEC
Hawaii (2-3)- 59 vs. Florida (4-1)- 58
Arizona St. (3-2)- 71 vs. Texas A&M (3-2)- 69 UCLA (4-1)- 69 vs. Missouri (4-1)- 70 USC (3-2)- 84 vs. S. Carolina (3-2)- 79 (OT) Washington (2-3)- 86 vs. Mississippi St. (1-4)- 88 (2 OT) Utah (2-3)- 80 vs. Tennessee (2-3)- 77 Oregon (5-0)- 79 vs. Alabama (1-4)- 84 Stanford (2-3)- 67 vs. Southern Miss (3-2)- 66 Gonzaga (3-2)- 78 vs. LSU (4-1)- 62 Colorado (5-0)- 77 vs. Ole Miss (1-4)- 86 UCSB (3-2)- 54 vs. Arkansas (3-2)- 76 Arizona (4-1)- 74 vs. Vanderbilt (1-4)- 63 California (2-3)- 76 vs. LA Tech (4-1)- 70 Oregon St. (3-2)- 72 vs. Auburn (4-1)- 82 Washington St. (2-3)- 77 vs. Kentucky (4-1)- 80 St. Marys (2-3)- 67 vs. Georgia (4-1)- 68 Pac 12/SEC Wrap-Up Hawaii knocking off Florida was a huge, huge upset. 2 more undefeated teams went down, and I'm not sure if there are any undefeated teams left. A couple great overtime games, and some even basketball in this challenge, as 10 of the 16 games were decided by 5 points or less, which makes the final tally quite understandable.... Final Tally: An 8-8 tie, which is very justified as even as the games were. |

Week 4- Big East vs. ACC
Butler (1-4)- 67 vs. N. Carolina (2-3)- 76
Mid. Tenn. (2-3)- 59 vs. Maryland (3-2)- 60 Harvard (3-2)- 77 vs. Wake Forest (3-2)- 75 Wyoming (2-3)- 61 vs. GA Tech (3-2)- 71 Creighton (3-2)- 79 vs. N.C. Villanova becomes our 4th undefeated team this week to lose, and they did it to a former conference rival, by 1 point. Ugh! Duke and North Carolina with good, solid wins to get back to .500. Final Tally: ACC wins 10-6 |

Week 4- Big Ten vs. Atlantic Ten

Toledo (2-3)- 64 vs. Mercer (2-3)- 75 Minnesota (2-3)- 65 vs. St. Josephs (2-3)- 54 Purdue (3-2)- 68 vs. GW (4-1)- 77 Nebraska (2-3)- 51 vs. Fordham (3-2)- 60 Iowa (3-2)- 82 vs. Rhode Island (1-4)- 69 Ohio St. (1-4)- 80 vs. Belmont (0-5)- 67 Penn St. (4-1)- 73 vs. St. Bonaventure (1-4)- 63 Michigan St. (3-2)- 80 vs. George Mason (0-5)- 58 Cleveland St. (3-2)- 67 vs. Duquesne (2-3)- 62 Wisconsin (4-1)- 81 vs. LaSalle (1-4)- 77 W. Michigan (1-4)- 66 vs. Richmond (4-1)- 50 Michigan (3-2)- 87 vs. VCU (2-3)- 63 Northwestern (2-3)- 70 vs. Dayton (2-3)- 61 Green Bay (3-2)- 83 vs. Stephen F. Austin (1-4)- 65 Illinois (2-3)- 72 vs. St. Louis (2-3)- 63 Big Ten/A-10 Wrap-Up This might be the most lopsided non-conference series we've had so far. Toledo, Purdue, and Nebraska were the only losers for the Big Ten this week. Although it's still early in the season, it's not looking good for postseason prospects in the A-10, which currently has just 2 teams with a winning record. Ouch! Final Tally: Big Ten wins 13-3 |

Week 5- Pac 12 vs. Big Ten
USC (4-2)- 80 vs. Indiana (4-2)- 71
Stanford (3-3)- 67 vs. Cleveland St. (4-2)- 76 Washington (2-4)- 67 vs. Toledo (2-4)- 78 Gonzaga (4-2)- 78 vs. W. It was a hotly contested challenge, as evidenced by the final tally: Final Tally: Big Ten wins 9-7 |

Carolina (3-3)- 62 vs. Georgetown (4-2)- 63 Kentucky (5-1)- 82 vs. Iona (4-2)- 72 Florida (4-2)- 76 vs. Harvard (4-2)- 73 Southern Miss (3-3)- 68 vs. Villanova (5-1)- 104 Arkansas (4-2)- 82 vs. Xavier (3-3)- 85 Alabama (2-4)- 78 vs. Marquette (3-3)- 70 SEC/Big East Wrap-Up How about what Villanova did to Southern Miss? Just wiped the floor with them. Wyoming with a mild upset over Texas A&M, and Harvard almost got a good win against Florida. Another close conference challenge. Final Tally: Big East wins 9-7 |

Week 5- American vs. Atlantic Ten

Memphis (5-1)- 69 vs. St. Louis (2-4)- 52 SMU (3-3)- 92 vs. Fordham (4-2)- 54 Louisville (4-2)- 77 vs. VCU (2-4)- 65 San Francisco (2-4)- 73 vs. St. Josephs (2-4)- 60 Boise St. (4-2)- 66 vs. Dayton (2-4)- 65 San Diego St. (4-2)- 70 vs. Mercer (3-3)- 68 Houston (1-5)- 67 vs. Duquesne (2-4)- 68 Cincinnati (1-5)- 76 vs. Belmont (0-6)- 60 Rutgers (1-5)- 69 vs. GW (5-1)- 79 Indiana St. (0-6)- 58 vs. UMass (2-4)- 68 Temple (3-3)- 69 vs. Rhode Island (1-5)- 71 UNLV (3-3)- 65 vs. George Mason (0-6)- 48 UCF (2-4)- 81 vs. Richmond (4-2)- 85 Akron (2-4)- 69 vs. St. Bonaventure (1-5)- 79 UConn (3-3)- 59 vs. Stephen F. Austin (1-5)- 53 American/A-Ten Wrap-Up The big disappointment for the A-Ten was Fordham getting beat by 38, as they are 1 of 3 A-Ten teams with a winning record. Fortunately, GW and Richmond both won. Amazing to see the struggles of teams like VCU, Stephen F. Austin, and Belmont. Needless to say, the A-Ten is definitely the weak conference in this dynasty.. but they were the 8th rated conference in reality (at least from the site I went to) which is the reason their conference as a whole is in this dynasty, but I'm almost wondering if the Mountain West wouldn't have fared better. OH well, too late now. Final Tally: American wins 9-7 |

Week 5- Big 12 vs. ACC

W. Virginia (2-4)- 90 vs. Duke (3-3)- 81 Utah St. (3-3)- 66 vs. Manhattan (2-4)- 70 Ohio (3-3)- 78 vs. Clemson (2-4)- 69 (OT) Oklahoma (4-2)- 83 vs. Notre Dame (3-3)- 72 TCU (2-4)- 65 vs. Virginia (4-2)- 54 Kansas (5-1)- 81 vs. Syracuse (4-2)- 77 Baylor (5-1)- 70 vs. Maryland (4-2)- 68 Iowa St. (3-3)- 68 vs. BC (3-3)- 57 Kansas St. (3-3)- 69 vs. N.C. State (2-4)- 70 New Mexico St. (1-5)- 60 vs. Wake Forest (3-3)- 74 Oklahoma St. (4-2)- 77 vs. GA Tech (4-2)- 58 N. Dakota St. (4-2)- 82 vs. VA Tech (0-6)- 49 Texas (4-2)- 61 vs. Florida St. (4-2)- 68 Wichita St. (4-2)- 69 vs. Miami (FL) (3-3)- 73 (OT) Texas Tech (3-3)- 90 vs. Pitt (5-1)- 80 (2 OT) Big 12/ACC Wrap-Up Not a good challenge at all for the ACC, while the Big 12 shocked in many ways. 3 huge unexpected (by my count) wins for the Big 12: New Mexico over N. Carolina, W. Virginia over Duke, and the big upset, TCU over Virginia. Unfortunately, 2 of my 3 Kansas teams lost (ugh!), but overall a terrific challenge for the Big 12. Final Tally: Big 12 wins 11- 5 |

Belmont and George Mason remain winless, and VCU continues to disappoint. Could be a long year for the A-Ten unless they get it figured out. Final Tally: ACC wins 11-5 |

Week 6- Big East vs. American

The new Big East dominated this one, with 2 late wins for the American easing the pain a little bit. Lots of good matchups in this one, including a nice old time rivalry matchup between UConn and Villanova. Final Tally: Big East wins 11-5 |

I didn't expect LA Tech to beat Ohio St., nor did I expect Ole Miss to beat Wisconsin or Miss. St. to beat Michigan St. As in real life, the SEC is making its case to be the strongest conference in this dynasty. Despite all that, they needed to win the last 2 games to win this challenge. Final Tally: SEC wins 9-7 |

Dakota St. (5-2)- 58 vs. Oregon St. (3-4)- 66 Oklahoma St. (5-2)- 79 vs. Utah (4-3)- 74 Big 12/Pac 12 Wrap-Up Another tight series, this one way too close. A couple blowouts though, as Gonzaga hammered New Mexico St., Stanford hammered TCU, and the most shocking one is Washington St. beating W. Virginia by 33. My Shockers keep getting a tough draw, this time losing to Arizona. At least K-State won. This series came down to the final game. Final Tally: Tied 8-8 |

Florida or what? The upset for me would be Utah beating Memphis. I'm sure bbgunn is happy that his Hawaii boys won another tough one, putting them back over .500. Overall, the Pac 12 dominated early, then did just enough late to take hold of this challenge. Final Tally: Pac 12 wins 10-6 |

Austin (1-7)- 72 vs. New Mexico St. (1-7)- 58 A-Ten/Big 12 Wrap-Up As has been the case in most of the series' the A-Ten has been involved in, it was over early. The Big 12 rolled over 8 straight wins before the A-Ten got on the board, and even their wins were somewhat unexpected. Dayton beating Oklahoma St. was unexpected. The A-Ten continues to be the worst conference in this dynasty report. Final Tally: Big 12 wins 12-4 |

They might be the surprise team of the SEC right now. A pretty good series here, but some favorable matchups for the American Conference, along with an upset, proved to be the difference. Final Tally: American wins 9-7 |

Didn't expect Michigan St. to lose by 19 to Florida St., and how about Manhattan beating Purdue by 25. Definitely a series the Big Ten could have won, but as it stands.. Final Tally: ACC wins 9-7 |

The Georgetown/W. Virginia game probably brought back some memories for Big East fans, but overall the Big 12 took care of business. Final Tally: Big 12 wins 10-6 |

3x 9-1, 12x 8-2, 4x 1-9, and 3x 1-10. It's pretty balanced- not a lot of highs or lows.
