Since both NTN and dubb got a Pass Point (TM) after we've already drawn attention to the folly of that I'm going to vote for the guy who doesn't already have two votes on him.

Vote dubb

Right back at ya. I'm not sure when the last time you went on day 1 was. I can assure you you haven't gone on d1 since I started playing again.

DT is clearly lying to gain trust. There is no reason for a telepath to broadcast his movements to the rest of the group.

VOTE

Just kidding ... not really sure where to go with this game just yet. But since my understanding is that we all move forward initially I was just having some fun and being unduly dramatic in this post.

DT, wasn't it pretty much consensus that you had to change your sig after the "I Hate Spending Money" thread. Especially since the person you quote has removed his permission for you to have that quote?

Everything should be out. I will have a lot of PMs to go through/send at each deadline, so I'll always post when I think I'm done, and if I've missed you let me know.

You all got a very similar PM, let me make it clear that the wall urging you forwards just meant that your first move was straight, not that it requires or suggests you continue moving straight.

It may be folly, but I claim my situation is a little different, asmine was a feeble day one defence of votes against me more than a here I am post. (I had already announced my presence this morning). I will admit it wasn't a defence that anyone could or should put much stock into. Nonetheless it was more than just a "Pass Point" TM

What is the consensus on sharing info on where we can go, or what has happened in terms of events in labyrith? mine are yes to first and no to second.

I think people need to use their common sense on revealing of information. We don't want the wolves to find the center and they can already coordinate a bunch of info.

really? did people assume differently? some of you guys read an awful lot into a simple "compulsory movement PM" that was previously announced

yeah this version is a bit different than the first in that the wolves can win by finding the center first, so we probably need to be careful about specific directions, but room descriptions and/or encounters that take place in a room would be helpful for any commoner that comes into that area later.

Nothing exciting on my move and have multiple directions to move.

I got a couple of responses saying they didn't want to ignore the wall and wanted to make sure that everyone knew while moving straight away from the edge is certainly an advisable idea, that I wasn't trying to make any hints or suggestions by saying everyone should move straight if they have that chance.

Ha! Nice try, mister. Trying to get me to kill you now instead of waiting for you to get to my surprises?

Where's the fun in that?!

You have to consider the circumstances. Jackal not allowing me to post for 13 minutes is like not allowing some others to post for a whole day.

I might not get much chance to get online later on, so posting an initial vote now:

VOTE LATHUM

I realise that this is a second vote, but I don't see much point in putting another candidate into the mix at this time.

so this is what we have so far I think:

NTNDeacon: 2 (Lathum, Tyrith)
Lathum: 2 (Ntndeacon, MartinD)
Dubb: 1 (Barkeep)
Barkeep: 1(Dubb)
1 non-legal vote on Martin (nfg)

That look right to everybody?

In the interest of consolidating votes, but not too much, I'll vote Dubb. I don't have anything to go on and I think a three way race at this point is good.

sorry, but I don't get your logic.

There are 2 other people with 1 vote and you claim you don't want to introduce another candidate into the mix yet there are about 15 people left to vote.

You wanna vote me because you don't like my early vote or because it is a random D1 vote then fine, etc... but your logic at this point in the day makes no sense.

Seems you are tryin to capitilize on eputation

There were three players with one vote at the time, and I felt that going with Lathum was a better bet than the two guys who had voted for each other.

Not much of a reason, I know, but it is day 1 - there's precious little to go on...

I will accept this vote because it's been a long time since you played and it wasn't listed in the rules, but any vote from now on that does not follow the format:

vote x
unvote x

will not be counted
