You can pretty much go ahead and pencil in Lampson (D) for Tom Delay's old seat. He's got 65% of the vote so far.

CNN.com are saying the Dems are up 10 seats (they say 11, but -1 Ind, which was Bernie Sanders who voted with the Dems) with 168 undecided seats.

Looking at the underreported counties for the Tenn senate race, it looks like the Dems will win there. The VA and Missouri races look extremely tight (again, just extrapolating out counties that haven't finished reporting).

I haven't heard many people talk about this, but the Dems have picked up 5 governorships so far, which is important not just for their respective states, but for gerrymandering.

Look like the GOP will lose both GA-8 and GA-12. They have to be really upset they couldn't pick up one GA House seat in a year when the state Dems had no clue.

Yep. I wonder how long it will take for the Republicans to start to complain about the Democrats using the rules they put in place to keep the Democrats from effectively participating in the legislative process.

Yeah, they are talking about MD-Sen, where Steele is ahead 51-47 with 46% of the vote, despite everyone calling it for Cardin hours ago. But hardly a quarter of the votes from Baltimore and Prince George have been counted.

97%, and the lead was cut in half. Who knows now?

They said that Steele hasn't conceded yet though. I'm not sure. Fox News reported this, but didn't give any more information really - Fox News didn't even withdraw their prediction about it.

Yep, Steele definitely didn't concede in his most recent appearance. The current counted votes have Steele ahead.

I forgot about AZ. There's still a slim chance that the Dems could pick that up for one of their three remaining pickups. Kyl led most of the way but some late polls showed him with only a 4% lead and the Dems started to put some money there at the end.

I am very disappointed in Detroit....errrrrrrrrrrrrrr.........Michigan.

Jennifer "Oh Canada" Granholm is a piece of garbage, and a lamebrain who has done NOTHING but hurt Michigan. My dad is a State employee of 27 years, and has had nothing but cuts in benefits, pay decreases and increases in bureaucracy BULLSHIT because of this bitch's incompitence and lies. Two years ago, the same month the state employees had their pay cut for the "betterment of the state economy", the state legislature voted for an increase for themselves. Typical Granholm.

The state's economy has never been worse, but the IDIOTIC SOUTHEAST SIDE OF THE STATE DOESN'T HAVE A FUCKING CLUE. These morons are fed the partyline, and eat it the fuck up. Fuck Detroit, and it's stupid fucking suburbs. I am sick and tired of the rest of the state (the actual heart and soul) getting fucked up the ass because of an ignorant bunch of fucking jackasses that happen to have numbers in a smallish portion of the state.

I'm not going to say anymore or else I'll sound worse than I already do.

Fucking Granholm. I will never let this go.

Republicans are idioits, but apparantly democrats are simply automatons that need to have people bussed to the polling stations to win. Fucking shit. I am so fucking pissed.

The state that I love deserves the best, and the ignorant bitch that is the governor isn't it. Go the fuck back to the Soviet Union of Canada, whore.
