Finally! I knew Mustafa could drive. Despite the terrible start one more win in the next three races and he could be in the playoffs.

First caution of the day for a spin involving Billy Bushinhimer on lap 55. We'll see how things shake out after pit stops.

Race #8 of 15 - Cheez-It 355 Results
Two races ago, Mustafa Henderson found himself 37th in the points. Now he has back to back wins and is almost assured a spot in the playoffs. What a finish as Henderson and Rob Nielsen battled for the win.

Standings after Race #1 of 158
Patrick Hutt and Mustafa Henderson are all but assured of playoff spots with 2 wins each, unless David Ginsberg, currently 3rd and also with 2 wins falls out of the top 10. Drivers outside of the top who are clinging to hope of a wild card spot need at least 2 of these 3 drivers to finish in the top 10.
Rob Nielsen's hold on the points lead is even stronger after his 2nd place finish. Bo Duke picked up another top 10 and is 2nd. Ginsberg is 3rd followed by Wheely McStephens and Luke Duke. Ricky Anderson Jr, Aaron Kappe, Blue Neckansack, Hawk Grey and Ginny Tonic round of the top 10. |

Better than expected in all honesty. I figured this race was up in the air for anyone. Both drivers look to be solid for the top 10 with 2 races to go. Bo needs to put it all together for one of these races. The General has been good enough thus far.

Hawk needs one real good race to qualify, I think. He obviously has a hard time turning right.

Just a reminder, Truck Series sign ups are underway in the sign up thread. Wouldn't mind seeing some more in there for our Minor League series. Also, two spots remain for the Cup Series.

Do we get to play around with stats at the end of the season or do winning players get a few bonus points?

Yup you change them after the season any way you wish. I've thought about giving bonus points before but I think it will just end up making the winners even that much stronger than the rest of the field. But I'm definitely open to the idea if people want to see that. I'm open to any suggestions can help the series. The truck series can help in the future with stats because you can try out different stat sets there to find one that really works. Last edited by cmp : 04-29-2015 at 06:27 PM. |

Maybe you roll a secret 1d10 before each race, everyone 5-10 in the chase gets one race they can boost the following season. 1st gets 5 boosts thru season, 2nd 4, 3rd 3, 4th 2, and boosts only to car

I'm all for some random element coming into play. But I don't want to know what it is, and it can't be so crazy or random that it's just frustrating.

I dont think the rich should get richer either. Leave it to the crew chiefs to tinker within the constraints.
More narrative would be fun. Like Rob Nielson gets caught in his trailer with Helen Wheels by his GF Hana Ginsberg. Hana breaks a bat over Nielsons head and he cant run in Talladega. While Ginsberg gets suspended for 2 races and Wheels is emotionally distraught and takes a week off. Meanwhile, Bo and Luke Duke are arrested for transporting moonshine and Stroker Ace pulls a muscle in his should strokin' his ace. He is out for the race. Too much?
