C Vest with the move from 36-7, pretty nice. Of course B Vest goes from 5-22. At least we both finished though, we'll take it.

Stupid freaking clutch. I think Errington had a top 15 at least in him. McWerter #7 overall though makes me happy. Go Russell Racing Inc!

Luke picks up 6th and Bo 18th, much better than we started the race. That moves both of them up a little. It's good to see the cars finishing the races. Dixieland is now 12th and 35th overall, the General Lee needs to get going.

Finally, some good results to go with what is looking like one of the strongest cars in the field. Good car, mediocre driver is what looks like the case for Sterling Silvers.

Race #6 of 20 After two near misses in a row Chris Snow finally was able to put himself back in victory lane, the 21st victory of his career. He held off a strong charge from C.R. Anderson and Jack Meehoff to take the win. Finishing 4th was points leader Stroker Ace and Nick Phillips finished 5th. Ron Towers, who was 40th in points before the race, finished 6th. PHP Code:

A nice top-10 finish for Dat King, that should help to stop the rookie's slide in the points. 12th place for Max Tolliver isn't bad, but he's starting to think maybe he should stick to road racing.

Nick Phillips has looked strong besides the Bristol race where he did not finish. If he can stay near the top and have some more top 5's and top 10's he should be in a good place to claim another title.
Mustafa Henderson has had a dissapointing season so far. The good qualifying runs have not translated into good races, hopefully he can turn it around. |

Maybe Sterling is starting to put together some consistency, putting the first two bad races behind.

Even starting dead last can't stop Chris Snow these days. The 4 time champ started last and after 100 laps found himself leading. He would only lose the lead during green flag pitstops after that. Nick Phillips started to gain on Snow in the last twenty laps but could never get less than 2 seconds back. Snow picked up his 2nd straight win. Nick Phillips continued his strong season with a 2nd place finish. He was followed by Ron Towers who seems to have turned things around. C.R. Anderson finished 4th and has been very strong since missing the Richmond race after failing to qualify. Robbie DeWeerd rounded out the top 5. Points leader Stroker Ace kept his lead with a 10th place finish. There was only one caution all day, but it was a big one only 2 laps in. Brad Vest, Cash Vest, Elvis Boris, Bo Duke, Steve Bollea, Jace Hunter, Dat King, Deacon Palmer, Luke Duke, Maxwell Tolliver and Jack Meehoff all were knocked out of the race in that wreck. PHP Code:

That would be #90, Jack Mihoff. Swerved across the entire track, nicked someone, then swerved BACK into traffic, losing control and spinning out, taking the field with 'em.

Nick Phillips is still in great position for the title run. We need some more top 10's to keep the hopes alive.Note to Snow: I wouldn't get too excited with a win here and there its all about consistancy and I don't know if the acient Chris Snow still has what it takes for a complete season.

Carfax 400 Predictions from the Expert Panel: Marty Smith - ESPN How do you pick against Chris Snow right now? He has had the best car for the last four races. Look for three straight wins for Snow. Richard Petty - Former NASCAR Champion One of these the terrific qualifying efforts for Sterling Silvers has to pay off. Look for him to run well at Michigan. Conan O'Brien - Former Late Night Talk Show Host Stroker Ace has been fending off former champions Nick Phillips and Chris Snow to hold the points lead. Look for him to get the win. Hurley Reyes - Plane Crash Survivor, Lottery Winner #23 C.R. Anderson will come home in victory lane at Michigan. Last edited by cmp : 03-11-2010 at 11:37 PM. |

Despite having the best car and dominating most of the race, Robbie DeWeerd didn't have the fastest car when it mattered most. After a caution with 5 laps left, the race was restarted with only one lap remaining. DeWeerd jumped out to a big start before Mustafa Henderson roared past him on the backstretch and took the victory from DeWeerd. Henderson had only led one other lap all race. The win gives Henderson 14 for his career, good for third on the all-time list behind Chris Snow and Nick Phillips. Phillips had a horrible day, finishing a lap down in 35th. Points leader Stroker Ace didn't fare so well either, finishing in 22nd. Chris Snow gained some on those two but not quite as much as he would have hoped for. Snow led 28 laps on the day and looked he could be heading for a 3rd straight win before his car faded and he finished 12th. PHP Code:
