I think he's probably lying, too. I don't think in a game with no bodyguard the seer would reveal, even if he was about to be lynched.
The duke is obviously free to decide for himself, but I think we are getting lucky day 1. |

Of course, that's why I think there is some probability that you are a villager. I just think there is no probability that you are the hippy.

i would suggest that everyone take their vote off of clap...if he isnt a wolf, the wolves have to kill him tonight...if he is alive in the morning, then its because he is a wolf, and we can lynch him tomorrow...leaving him alive tells us more than killing him

except based on his play we are pretty sure he is a wolf, so why risk lynching a villager, maybe a valuable one, when we have a perfectly good candidate? |

the only way I will switch is by no lynch.
If there is a kill other then clap tomorrow I think it is pretty cut and dry. Who knows, maybe there is a hidden mechanic where the seer can dodge a night kill since there is no bodyguard. UNVOTE CLAP VOTE NO LYNCH |

What is the advantage of that? There are only two other roles. There's a duke, which that role is kind of neutered if the seer is really exposed. The other role is the cultist, which we actually want the cultist in play as a possible NK. |

i would support this premise of going to no lynch, that way we dont have to worry about hitting the real seer if Clap is full of it, and we limit our day1/night 1 loss to a single villager. unvote cronin vote no lynch |

I assume you mean nk, not lynch. Yes, my point is that IF clap turns out to be the real seer, that has its advantages for the village. Its better for us to lynch the seer than it is to have the seer nked. |

not necessaraly.
We had a major problem a while back with people quoting PM's and people being outed because of it and it ruined a few games. BK probably just was being flavorfull |

interesting...i unvote you, and you then vote me...if you are thinking that i am trying to save clap because we are the two vamps, then why would you not just leave you vote where it was Quote:
what advantage is there to lynching the seer as opposed to forcing the wolves to kill him...voting patterns...right now there are at least 4 people on clap, only two of them MIGHT be bad guys...if I were them, i would make sure the two votes were split. |

I skimmed the rules yesterday. Frankly I saw cronin hinting at the text of my PM with his check-in post, hence my suggestion. At no point, until Jackal said it, did I realize it matched.

I'm not saying I would never vote for him, but D1? That seems like a completely acceptable reason to not vote D1.

Seems like it would be too obvious for that to indicate Barkeep is a wolf. Why would a wolf post that?

yeah, BK is right.

Not sure about this. The wolves may skip killing clap tonight knowing we would then lynch him tomorrow and would have potentially eliminated three villagers very easily. |

I hate no Lynch. Especially in a game with no BG. There is no information to be gained by not lynching someone. Get the stake ready and drive it through someone's heart. This is a brutal game.

FTR I think a game with this setup actually runs better with 11. I asked Jackal to cap it at 10, so the villagers are at a disadvantage, depending on the tie breaker.

Assume clap is the seer, and he gets lynched. The vampires then have a 1/7 chance of killing the cultist. Assume clap is the seer, and we don't lynch him. The vampires then have a 100% chance of killing the seer, and a 0% chance of killing the cultist. In both scenarios the seer dies - but in the former there is also a small chance the cultist goes down in flames, too. |

again, i dont get it...an hour ago you were so convinced that clap was a wolf, and now you are suddenly convinced i am if i were a vamp, do you honestly think i would be so blatant as to throw myself into such an early and obvious alliance with my teammate when there are only two wolves? you must really think i suck at this |
