Interestingly enough, a vote on clap would have been a good place for a wolf to hide a vote since you know nobody's going to follow you and actually vote him off on Day 1. But now you've unvoted him, so I guess that doesn't really mean anything anymore. |

Is it really any worse than just voting for the first person on the list though? Or any other stupid reason that someone comes up with for a Day 1 vote? We have nothing to go on at this point, so we come up with bullshit reasons just to get a vote in. |

i think its way worse. voting for the first person is silly, but what else do you have? voting for someone based on their past play just shoudlnt be part of it.

I probably would vote Abe given his earlier question about lack for rationale, but no need for another candidate at this point.
Therefore, I'm going to vote for EagleFan

Hopefully there aren't any overreactions going on here today. There seemed to be a lot of good natured posts but maybe some of thre inside jokes aren't being viewed in that light.
I think there may be a lot of good information from today's vote. If I missed it, what is the rule on a tie? |

Looking at the list of options, it goes w/o saying that I won't vote myself or Claphamsa at this point (except for self-defense).
That leaves EF, Danny, and Poli. I don't love how hard it is to vote for Poli on D1's now and I think it's a great way to hide a vote as a wolf because you can claim that it was because of his D1 voting style. I play the odds with EF right now, he was a wolf last game so the odds are that he wouldn't be a wolf again (weak reasoning but I'm trying to fight the urge to retaliate vote). And I have pushed Danny out a lot as of late, particularly early. Not great reasons, but I need to go. So, with the early deadline and the need to get a vote in, I'll go: vote Poli |

Okay, I got over my laziness and read page one. I see it says no lynch is possible but the result of a tie is known only by him. Am I correct to assume that means a vote of "no lynch" is allowed but there is a tie break mechanism known only by Jackal in the event of a tie?

unvote PB
vote Danny Going on a hunch, was looking at the names of the players and wondered if the roles were random or "picked". Two names jumped out at me to answer the question to myself of "who would I pick as wolves?" if I was hand picking. |

I have hand picked wolves and roles in the past, the last game that I ran was actually the first time I went 100% random. When I hand pick I have tried to spread it out from game to game to mix things up. The trick is not having a pattern when doing that (so I try to mix it up and may random some roles/wolves but hand pick others and in one game I hand picked everything, the Charmed game I believe it was). |

As to picking wolves, every game I've done has been random and I don't see myself doing it differently unless I do a game with a public role or something.

Well, I don't want to vote clap because he hasn't played in awhile and thus deserves to get past Day 1. I don't want to vote EagleFan, as a reward for being an awesome teammate last game (just a Day 1 vote thing.. this will NOT carry forward to future days). So that leaves Poli and Danny. Hmmmmm....

Unvote Clap
Vote EF This doesn't really change the likely result as EF is able to switch and Poli not, but let's see if anyone else bites to try and make a save |

Something tells me that Poli is a villager. That makes it win/win for the wolves with us as the top two.

Here's my thought process at the moment, for analysis later in the game.
Me = vanilla That leaves 9 players and two are most likely wolves. Poli - 22% chance of being a wolf Poli - 33% chance of being a roled villager (3 roled villagers, that could really help the village as the brutal villager is pretty much a crap shoot at this point) |

And I understand your math, but if you know you're a villager, don't just let yourself get lynched or a possible no lynch.
