Sinéad O’Connor has revealed that she is planning to study to become a healthcare worker.

Appearing on Irish TV show The Late Late Show on Friday (May 29), O’Connor said she’s been accepted onto a new college programme.

Speaking to host Ryan Tubridy, O’Connor was asked about her previous comments about wanting to work in hospice care.

“We spoke before about hospice [care] and what you wanted to do with people – kind of befriend them and guide them,” Tubridy said. “Are you thinking of taking that a step further?”

O’Connor replied: “I’ve been accepted onto the course to start in Bray Institute of Further Education in September. So it’s the FETAC Level 5 healthcare support course.”

Didn't realize Henry Mancini did Nadia's Theme but I have heard that song from some soap opera to when it was sampled in a Mary J. Blige song "No More Drama". Either way I agree that is a solid song to add.

Apparently Mancini wasn't the original. Still fantastic but I'd call it "haunting".

Nadia's Theme - Wikipedia

"Nadia's Theme" is a piece of music composed by Barry De Vorzon and Perry Botkin Jr. in 1971. It became associated with Olympic gymnast Nadia Comăneci during and after the 1976 Summer Olympics. The composition has been used as the theme music to the American television soap opera The Young and the Restless intermittently since the series debuted in 1973. This piece is also used regularly by Steve Wright presenter on BBC Radio 2 Sunday Love songs as a backing bed.

De Vorzon and Botkin Jr. composed this piece of music, originally titled "Cotton's Dream", as incidental music for the 1971 theatrical film Bless the Beasts and Children.
