Hey, glad we're going already. I'm going to get some food and check to see any rule changes since I first read. Nine person game, this will be fast and furious! (no, don't anyone get the idea to make a Fast and Furious WW game).

All right, glad to see it's confirmed we have two bad guys. Had to be two, but I like when we're given the information and don't have to waste posts debating it. A martyr and a seer. Not a lot of firepower on the villager side, and if we vote wrong three times straight we're done, so we've got to really focus. Which means we need plenty of posting these first few days, I hope people step up. Looking at the player list I suspect we will.

And his masterful wolf performance the game before. He killed us all as the red death and then killed werewolf

Wow no BG. I really hope there is no cunning wolf. It would make the seer worthless. For that matter, I think we have to hope neither wolf has a role as that would make the game awfully tough

Do we think this means cunning? I would doubt it in a small game, and the shapeshifting is probably just flavor, but wanted to throw it out there. |

I think it's just the flavor for why we don't know he's the bad guy. Why we don't notice the bug guy is beyond me. And the seer specifically says she can look through is disguise, so it's definitely not cunning. |

I really hope not. I really hate cunning wolves in a small two wolf game. It makes the seer have null value as he is just as likely to clear a wolf as to find one. |

I think we've got a very basic, two wolves, a seer. We've got the martyr who can keep the seer alive one more night. Werewolf, straight up.
I think the thing we have to avoid in these small games is anyone idling through. This is the sort of game where we can't afford to "remember" three days in that someone's playing. |

I was thinking it meant that as well Jackal. The whole disguise thing. That smacks of cunning. I don't think it's Abe;s shapeshiufter unless autumn has managed to shift INTO another game. That would be brilliant. |

We're almost on our way to having each person receive a vote from someone else. Way to spoil it Tyrith. I should vote for you for spoiling that.

Aye I expect two vanilla wolves, a basic seer and martyr to allow the seer to reveal and survive one night. Bodyguards are considered a bit of a luxury in your standard games elsewhere, they're not the norm they seem to be here it would be a real advantage in a small game like this.
Agree - we have 3 days to hit a wolf or we lose. Matyr instead of bodyguard means that the game has a maximum of 4 nights or so. |

Added to that if we don't hit a wolf on day one or two there's really no margin for error on day three - as 3:2 means that only one villager has to be wrong and we lose. Don't think we can count on getting a wolfie on day one which makes day two a clutch day for us.

I hate small games because they're so unforgiving in terms of misses. Well that and the fact that you really need to be around to react to things during the day which I can't be. And the roads. And indoor plumbing.

Hopefully we can get lucky today or wolf will misstep in the voting. I agree with such a small number of players we're going to have to hit a wolf on day 1 or 2. There's little room for error.

The smaller the game, the higher the variance. But that's okay - it's just inherent in the setup. It's a nice change of pace to not have to commit to something for two weeks.

I do think at some point today we need to consolidate. The lynch happening on someone with three votes is going to guarantee a bad result for us.

Not necessarily. And there's a long way to go (for the rest of you). I think with Autumn and Danny onboard there's little chance of someone getting lynched with three votes. |

We'll certainly have to consolidate but I think all of us are hoping to see something to give us a vote. Five out of nine have votes, so we've probably got a wolf out there somewhere.

I'm hoping to hear from Chubby and Mauboy before I vote. We need to make sure not to consolidate so early in a small game that the wolves don't have to sweat anything.

Did I say anything about consolidating on you? :P It's a Friday in a small game, I don't think we can safely assume everyone is still going to be around this evening. I'd rather not let everything hang out until an hour before the deadline. |

I'd rather not too, but I was hoping to hear more from everybody before we bothered consolidating. I should be around tonight so I'll continue holding on. Chubby at least should have plenty to say when he shows up ;-)
