Incredible what one can do to a bad team when they mix in some runs. *Looks in Miami's direction*

Ditto. Of all the various aspects, the failure of the Cowboys D was not the one I would have bet on first (or second, or third) today.

Weeden goes 22-26, 232 yards and 1 INT. Dallas offense puts up 28 points, loses by 11.

Did the Chargers just kick for 1 point, while going for 2 would have brought them down by 16 points? It's a longshot with 32 seconds and 1 time outs, but you have to at least try, no?

Why would the Bengals challenge a play where both outcomes are lost yardage?

It cut to the game and didn't bother to tell it was a 2 point conversion.

I thought you were talking about that ugly play they called going for 2.

Seems both defenses have left the building early in Baltimore.

The unemployment line for head coaches may be pretty long this season.

Nice punt return fake out by the Seahawks. Always funny watching the punter being the only one running the right direction.

Games like Cin/Bal fascinate me. How do defenses that have played well all day suddenly end up being unable to stop anything?

Ben out like 4 weeks. It's a shame cause I kinda thought he could maybe break the passing record this season. I kinda figured 5000 yards was going to be his floor with this offense(and pisspoor defense)

Now THIS is the Niners team I was expecting to see this year.

Glad Jed got his internal "harmony" while Harbaugh is punching teams in the mouth (albeit they haven't played MSU or OSU).

Seriously mindboggling. Tired? That's all I can think of.

This is a huge step forward in Dalton's development. This was a game he needed to win and had to come back in the fourth to do it. Has to be huge for his and the team's confidence.

Roethlisberger might just be coming back from that injury when Cincy plays Pittsburgh on Nov 1.

Chiefs, Seahawks, @ Bills in the next three before the bye will really tell us how good this team can be this year.

Hayne had a nice punt return for 37 yards to setup the lone SF TD. And that about wraps up the 49ers highlights for the day.

Manning will throw for 380 and 4tds tonight. He's still done, but he's playing Detroit, it won't show.

I turned off the Dolphins game at halftime. They actually threw (shocking) and completed (even more shocking) a TD pass that traveled more than 7 yards from the line of scrimmage? Miracles do happen.

They started the drive with the backup QB & RB, pretty much conceding it. Even the play calling was a little baffling as they ran it about 5 or 6 times. Drive started with close to 5 minutes left in the game and there was no urgency at all. You're right though, even if it's 3 TD's and 3 2PTC's, it was a little odd to see the coaches giving up with that much time left.
