I am voting him for the reason that he and I have the worst looking votes from day 1 even though it means I might be setting up a run off between he and I. I think that's about all we have to go on for now.

Wow, and here I thought I would have missed a lot of conversation. Again, I agree that Danny and Chief Rum are all I see so far as a lead to follow, but I'm not crazy about just barking up one tree. I'd love to hear thoughts from other people.

I'm going to go ahead and place my vote. I think it's between Danny and Chief in my mind. Looking back, when both had a chance to place avote among the four contenders, Danny voted Telle, who I voted, and Chief voted me. Weighs the odds against Chief from my perspective.

Well my first instinct was that The Jackal is likely good because he put the deciding vote on Darth. But it does make sense that he could have thrown him under the bus to gain trust.. especially since Darth was the brutal.

I can get on board with the Danny vs Chief Rum showdown.

No, I don't think so. I'd say it's a stretch to imagine Jackal as a wolf, but otherwise, not much to go by. Darth seemed to be truly away at deadline, so his stuck vote on Jackal doesn't help us much, other than to confirm that Jackal's probably good. Other than that, nothin'.

This is a bad vote, at least the ones on me. I don't know about Danny.

I think we need to be really careful about how we go with this vote. Yesterday's vote and kill deprived us of much of our advantages over the wolves.

I am leaving at 4 p.m. again (PDT) and will be out past deadline, so hopefully we can start to get some consensus, instead of splitting the vote. Purely for self-protection:

I certainly will move rather than risk the tie. I may be a fool, but at this point without a seer I don't see really where biding for time helps us. That said, I like my vote for Chief over Danny, so I'd rather not switch. I should be around often enough to switch at some point however.

Hmm, you guys are boring me. Right now I'd rather see really another contender, although my first instinct would be to vote Chief again, since I thought he was our best bet yesterday. Telle and Mr. Bug you guys have been pretty darn quiet, so I don't have much else to go on.

Not much to say at this point, I suppose. It's just hard to vote in such a short, small game. I think Chief is all we've got to go on at this point. I'll be interested to see who he will offer up as an alternative, but I can't imagine it swaying me from following our most likely path on this

Okay, there is very little to go on here. Please note, Autumn or Telle could be a wolf who got their vote in early on Day One to hide them.

That said, Autumn was around to watch out for "shenanigans" at the end of Day One, a lynch which saw the brutal wolf get lynched. He appears to have been present the entire time as CF and then The Jackal put the late move on DV after DV himself had already left for the night. I find it hard to believe that Autumn would be thinking so third or fourth level there, even in a small game here. There were better ways to save a fellow wolf or to put oneself in a trust position than what he did. So I am discounting Autumn.

I can remove another candidate. Myself. I am the bodyguard.

That leaves Telle and MrBug. Right now, I lean toward Bug. He did not vote on Day One, so was likely not around. Which would be another good reason why DV appears to have been hung out to dry with the late run and no one around to save him.

Now it's possible that Telle wasn't around either. I didn't see any later posts from her. In fact, both Bug and Telle posted for the last time around the same time on Day One (noonish my time, 3 p.m. EST), with Bug with the latest post. But at that point, DV had yet to garner a vote or contribute a vote himself. It's not uncommon for a wolf, especially one who has not been in a game in a while, to hold his vote a little, to see how things are playing out, on Day One.

So I lean Bug over Telle.

That's the kind of reveal I was hoping might make things easier. This is a good day to reveal on, but I didn't want to push for it. I'm not set on one of Telle or Bug, but I want to make sure we consolidate good guy votes.

I believe you here, what you have here, Bug. I don't think you thought there was a vote that day, and at the last point at which you posted, there were only two votes made (Telle vs Autumn). With a vote not due (in your mind) for 30 hours, no wolf in trouble (DV not a target yet) and wanting to be cautious as a wolf trying not to make a suspicious vote, it makes sense you would hold your vote until after class (and going to your GF's) and see what developed in the mean time. It's probably what I would have done, too.

Autumn and Telle decide they must follow one of them, but which?

They decide that Chief Rum makes the best arguement and follow suit.

MrBug708 stands up, looks at everyone and says..."If I must die so that our freedom may happen..."

He then pulls a pistol from his belt and takes his own life.

Chief Rum moves slowly towards Autumn. Autumn eyes Chief Rum with caution.

Telle is now on the side of the room by herself as she watches intently.

What is about to happen? Will there be an attempt? Will all three remain?

Autumn continues to eye Chief Rum as Chief Rum edges closer. Now Autumn begins to move away from Chief Rum. He seems uncomfortable with Chief Rum's decision to gain a tactical advantageous position.

Telle stands mesmerized by the chess game being played out in front of her.

Soon Autumn and Chief Rum are almost next to Telle and Telle realizes that she allowed them both to get too close.

Autumn reaches for Telle.

"Please help me." He says calmly.

Telle is caught off guard by this request. Is Chief Rum actually the traitor? Is he stalking Autumn?

Telle smiles, then she reaches for Autumn.

There is a flash...

When the smoke clears two stand alone in the room...

Autumn and Chief Rum stare at each other.

Telle has vanished.

Chief Rum reaches for his pistol.

"Wait! She is fine!" Declares Autumn with confidence.

"What? She's is gone. How can she be okay?"

"You will find this hard to believe but I am from the future, a future in which the USF has become little more than a joke. We declared our independence on July 3, 1776! Today! We were famous, but then it happened. July 4, 1776 happened. America declared Independence and stole our fame, fame tha we would never get back.

I finally had enough of that and decided that al I needed to do was delay our declaration for 2 days. Then everyone got crazy about traitors and started killing people. I felt there was no way that I could come forward then or I would be hot as a lunatic and a traitor."

"But where is everyone?" asks Chief Rum.

"I sent them to the future. They are fine and are living in 2010. They maybe suffering a little shock at seeing everything but they are healthy and fine. I can return them on the 5th and we can declare independence. Only The Jackal refuses to come back, he was last seen in front of a television (I'll explain later) chanting Let's go Flyers while drinking alcoholic beverages."
