2 brutal roughing calls against the Giants. I guess you can understand the Romo once because we all know the rules are different for a QB, but the one on Murray was terrible.

This is the one thing that stopped him from being a really good back. I think he had the skills to be one of the best but was just so damn soft.

When he had his one big year, 1200 yards and 15 TDs he ran people over and was a beast. As soon as he got the big money he started going side to side and trying to be a finesse back. |

It should have been a catch but who knows with these rules. They could have at least reviewed it in the booth since that is what they are there for under 2:00. If I'm a DB and the WR makes the catch falling to the ground and is just sitting on the ground I would just go up and slap the ball out of his hands, by rule he wouldn't have completed the process.

The fact that they did not go to the booth to review that "incompletion" was terrible. Glad it did not impact the outcome.

Ball ended up 5 yards away from him so not sure how that equates to controlling through the ground. |

agree, wife and I both were sure it was a catch. Bottom line is Giants needed to convert in the red zone and didn't. Also took way to many penalties. |

What part of Detroit Lions don't you understand? The division is being gift wrapped to them, and they keep pissing it away.

Good. Great runner, but I can't stand fumbleitis. Way to put us in a 7-0 hole fuckbag.

Cool - now I can watch Walking Dead instead of having to DVR it.
Thanks for making it easy Pats.

Did the Patriots lose the Super Bowl or something last week? Hard to imagine them coming out so flat for a home game against the Broncos.

I've seen the refs call that borderline out of bound roughing call several times this year on the Red Zone channel. I don't always agree with the call, but it's hard to argue with it when it seems like they are consistently calling it. |

Two weeks ago I said that I thought the Lions could win at least 5 of their last 7 games. Well, they just lost two of the games I thought they could win. The division should have been theirs. Alone in first place with a soft schedule the rest of the way, and they are pissing it away. |

One day maybe Stafford will be consistently good and not have to depend on megatron so much. I seen a post about Schwartz above and I completely agree that he needs to be re-evaluated. This Lions team has too much talent to be stuck in 8-8 land. |

Everything I worried about happening that quarter happened. Denver was WAY too conservative with the wind. The Patriots figured out the pass rush and Brady got hot. They should have been going for the throat. The Patriots are now the favorites in this football game. |

And all those people thought the game was over in the 1st quarter and went to bed already. They haven't been watching very many games.

Fat lady missed her cue to start warming up
Good thing the Patsies spotted Manning a few points otherwise it would be an embarrassing blowout.... Last edited by Apathetic Lurker : 11-24-2013 at 10:08 PM. |

Hopefully officials keep calling those pick plays that Denver runs just like they did there. Let the defender rough them up if they keep calling them. That's how it should be. If they do, it REALLY limits the effectiveness of Denver's offense.

Just starting watching this game on my DVR. Can't believe the Pats have coughed this game away with three fumbles in the first 8 minutes. Denver looks completely unbeatable and New England continues to look average at best. Just from this start, I am going to guess that Denver wins this game 84-0, Manning will probably throw for 600 yards and 7 touchdowns. Anyone that started Denver's defense in this game is looking at a guaranteed shutout. Brady will get benched for Mallet by half-time and this just might be the last game of his career. Vereen, Ridley, Blount, and Bolden will be cut from the team tomorrow, and Leon Washington will be resigned to be their new starting running back.
Pretty sure this is the way it is going to happen, please don't spoil it for me |
