On a desk he sees pictures and glasses and writings and books in the cabinets. THe shutters behind him slam against the side of the house. He looks out and sees the dark woods. Is there something moving there?

Things are quiet. Very quiet...and then the pictures of things start appearing on the wall. Pictures of people you hate. You see one and shoot at it. Things go quite for awhile...and then it feels like the cabin wall moves There is screaming heard from the other room LOUD screaming. And red liquid pours in under the door. Then the screaming stops and the liquid subsides and slides back under the door as if it were never there.

There is an eerie silence as you all step into the study. The end of the tape clicks on. click...click...click...you turn it off. Then a loud boom startles you all. The noise comes from the room, yet, not. Then there is a noise like a backwards wind machine. You follow it around the room. You trail it back to the deer in the other room. THen around the air in front of you. A tuney merrygoround noise is heard...then the galloping of horses off to the left. And a breaking of windows.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?" someone says

"Something...may be trying to break into our world."

There is another crash and boom and a door creaks open. This is a different door you hadn't opened before. Suddenly there is a bzzzzing noise from it and the bluewhite stuttery light of electricity. You all approach very cautiously, squeezing each other's hands. Then you open the door. There is a rush of wind as you enter. and then a face appears. It is not a face you recognize.

For me, not a lot of new information happened in the Study while I was away. So I'm focusing more on CF's descriptions. Seems to me we have to pass three pages to Annie. If she then recites the passges, she will dispel the evil. Not sure if that is a global win, or maybe a victory condition for her.

So any chance the parchments that have been mentioned were pages from the book?

I was expecting the woods to have closed today given the other areas having closed seemingly forcing us towards this cabin, but apparently not. Maybe there's more to be found out there eventually.

Since I'm just a vanilla who can cast spells, I haven't wanted to use this spell because it sounds fairly evil. So I was holding on to it in case I was in trouble or some such. dubb - When you got the parchment, could you "read" it? By that I mean did you know the name of the spell or that it had a picture on it?
