I like the single piping look actually.
I was trying to make an example but my game does this hilarious thing where if I hit regenerate, it makes a little picture of the uniform pieces and uses that as a jersey logo on the front. The rest go blank/white. |

Awesome. That's all 5 human teams done. (ekcut still needs to sign off on his). I may do the AI ones tomorrow using the logos DC put together. Not tonight, though. Time to go to sleep! Tomorrow's draft day! |

Whens the draft?
Am I going to have to start an alternative alternative league to pass the time while the commish sleeps through this one? I'm off to WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH for an hour or so. I expect progress when I get back. |

Not sure how it would look, but how about an `H` with a shadow for Harwinton Hurlers....might as well make use of the double H! perhaps a blue H for the shadow, and then a blue undershirt.

I thought of that, but I didn't like how it came out initially. I'll toy with it now. I think the Double H is a good idea...

I like the last one the best myself.. but I think the shadow needs to be slightly more pronounced on it so it looks like seperate H's, but not completely seperate H's as in your top example.
Just my opinion though! |

Or, perhaps, with a little better definition:
In addition to spacing, I added a slight black stroke to the ltter forms. I could do that to the first one, too.

I tried doing some more overlaid ones, and they looked nice at full size, but were pretty crappy looking once shrunk to the uniform size.
So I used that last one, changed your secondary color to a nice blue, and took the liberty of adding a slight blue cast to the uniform base to offset the red. Scratch that. The more I looked at your uni, the more I realized it looked remarkably like a baseball. So I gave it a gentle cream base color. How's this look to you?

Thanks. And thanks to DC for the help.
I'm not quite happy with the Slammers' (I renamed the Slam to the Slammers :P ) chest lettering. It looks way too dimensional. If someone wants to do a basic text arch that might look better, feel free! |

Should we get a sub forum so we don't start cluttering up the main FOOL forum?
Thats gotta be a first, a sub forum for an alt league which has its own sub forum.

I suspect that might be a no for now. For the time being, we can just make threads for each season of FLOP or if we want. Once we've been doing it a while, I'll kindly nudge the powers that be and see if it's possible. But...I don't wanna irritate them, given we just got the trades sub-forum. |

I created myself a 6-team league with a 40 game schedule that only plays games on weekends and with modifiers that are double the default to simulate that of a local weekend softball league. I needed my fix. |

That wiki page of micropolitan areas proved handy, as did all of the jersey styles.

I think this would be fun, but I have to pass, and just wanted to let everyone know. With basketball starting back up, my time especially on the weekends (games) is gonna be limited.

By the way, with no draft do youngsters show up as FAs? And what is the roster size? 25 active, 40 man total? And our cash caps (salary, carryove)?

Yeah, next year's amateurs will show up as FAs. 25 man active roster, reserve is, uh. Erm. I think 40 total, yeah.
$13,000,000 salary cap, $1,000,000 carry over. |

BUMP.
Anyone interested in doing something like this again? Schedule would be something like Saturday night/Sunday afternoon/Monday morning/Tuesday morning, or something. Anyone?

One other thing, has anyone heard anything from kaosfere? I see that he still logs in, but he hasn't posted anything since January.

Maybe something "faster?" Something more experimental, that integrated a Vulture League component maybe (and no draft?) and that was like an off-season day/sim day/post-season day, with all of the teams in the playoffs like in the old league, to keep everyone activated. But yeah, I'm totally down. |
