I have to be honest, I really like this game, but it's frustrating when now 75% of the race I've been caught up in other people's wrecks (well, I don't know if this one was other peoples, but the other 2 were).

Welcome to Hollywood.

I was trying to find the accident on 324. Did I miss that on the video?

Good thing the Dickle was able to keep his nose (and other parts) clean after narrowly avoiding the wreck at the 2:00 mark of the video. The Silver Bullet team is certainly looking like a contender two years in a row. But last year certainly taught us not to look too far ahead.

Finally watched the video.

Nick Phillips just completely punked me. Took me out unprovoked!

Actually, I was involved in 3 wrecks.

Two weren't my fault, the 3rd I couldn't tell based on the cameras - but involved me running into my teammate after someone else hit me. Ugh!

It's been kind of a cautions breed cautions type thing. We've had a few early wrecks that have damaged cars who stay in the race and end up causing more and more wrecks as they are much slower than everyone else.

Race #4 - Subway Fresh Fit 500 from Phoenix Results

This race was absolutely dominated by Cannon Pace. Pace took the pole and went on to dominate, leading 305 of the first 306 laps. The only problem was, the race had 312 laps. With 6 laps remaining Alejandro Murrieta took the lead from Pace and pulled away winning by 0.67 seconds. Pace settled for 2nd while Helen Wheels, Mustafa Henderson and Lautaro Tesar rounded out the top 5. The race was relatively clean except for a few accidents, one which knocked out eight cars.

Helen Wheels's third-place finish (first top-10 of the season) helps her jump from 22nd to 13th in the Chase standings.

Wow, the 02 car must be possessed. YADNF. Looking at the year the the 01 car is having it's hard not to picture both of them in the top 10.

I'd have been better off leaving my stats alone it seems. The Foley's cannot do anything right this season.

I wish the game had some way to give feedback that would help me on my stats. I guess you kind of have to make some leaps and hope for the best.

I dunno, sometimes I think the stats make little to no difference. I changed nothing from last year to this year and Snow Motorsports can't do anything right it seems.

I ended up going online to see what stats do what but it's still a crapshoot with dice rolls, I think. And information on a 2003 version of a game is not all that readily available, actually.

Race #5 - Pure Michigan 400 Results

Once again it was Trick Dickle who had the best car on the day as he led 92 of the 200 laps. But, this time his car faded as the race wound down and he fell to an 11th place finish. Helen Wheels was there to take advantage as she led the race's final 7 laps to take the win. She held off a challenge from Dexter Jackson who finished 3rd. Aemon Snow, David Ginsberg and Bo Duke rounded out the top 5.

Has to be our tightest race yet this season, right? We had 27 cars within 4 seconds of the leader, wow!

Nice to get a top 10. We're not quite hanging out in the cellar now, although we have a lot of work to do.

CMP Racing would like to announce a few major changes to the #5 car driven by Cannon Pace. After a dispute with sponsor Marlboro, CMP Racing and Marlboro have split and a new sponsor has stepped to sponsor the #5 car for the remainder of the season. Buffalo Wild Wings will be the new main sponsor for the #5 car.

For the rest of this season we are adding something new. This will also help tie in the Late Model Series with the Cup Series. Every race starting with Martinsville on two drivers from the Late Model Series will be allowed to enter into the Cup Series. You will be able to take your Late Model driver and change his stats to whatever you wish, pick a car, and enter him into the race you would like. First come first serve on what races the drivers are entered into. You can only sign up for two races currently though.

The only catch is when making the stats, instead of 200 points on the driver stat portion you will only have 170 and for the car stats you will have 45 instead of 60. Sign up here on the board and then pm your stats and car possibilities. These drivers are not eligible for the Chase.

Current Late Model Entries:

Martinsville - Spots Filled
#55 Derrick Pace
Lew Sifford

Indianapolis
Nick Phillips Jr.

Myrtle Beach
- Spots Filled
Lew Sifford
B.L. Zebub

Watkins Glen

Piggzcreek
Billy Bushinhimer

Boston
Pharaoh Moore

Las Vegas

Atlanta

Daytona
#55 Derrick Pace

Pocono
Pharaoh Moore

Bristol
B.L. Zebub

Texas

Homestead
