No. As I said before there are MANY women with irregular periods who would not consider it all that strange to miss two or three in a row.

You're right... I just think that explaining the would be some what awkward for the writers. It's a lot more likely that the baby is Sun's and that his problem off the island was fixed like it was for Rose & Locke... that runs with the story line, an irregular period does not.

These back stories about Sun and the bald guy are just showing us their relationship off the island and how Jin's job was hurting that marriage... it's not about proving to us that Jin isn't the father/

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Jin's and island fixed him, I just don't think we can say either way at this point who is the father.

I really think Sun knew about her pregnancy before the island.

I think she did the pregnancy test on the island to cover her ass with Jin and not to hurt him.

If they can't shut it off, then why push the button?

And if the button doesn't control the electromagnetic field, then why push it?

i think once the Others (who aren't the real Others, the group led by Ben) find out Sun is pregnant they're gonna be after her like they were after that austrailian chick's baby (is claire her name?). and i'm starting to agree with whoever had the idea that the Others want Sawyer and Kate to mate so they can take her baby.

but if they're after babies/young people - why let Walt go?

does anyone remember the scene last season when there was a whole chain gang of shoeless people (most likely children)? could there be an area that is hiding young people?

If I remember correctly the black woman Other told Michael that they got a little more than what they expected when Walt joined them.

I remember that. That is when Jin and Eko go looking for Michael, and they hide when they side a group of the others coming, which turn out to be children. Now the thing I don't get and seems to be a little inconsistent especially with that scene, is that, if these people live in a perfect little "1950's village", why are they chaining their children up and marching them through the woods?

In the Season 3 Premiere, when they showed the village, did anyone see any kids?

There were no children in the 'town'.

Maybe the others that has Jack, Kate and Sawyer are really good but they want to be in charge of everything. Maybe their helping out the survivors.

And there another group that are the bad ones that we have not seen yet.

The Other Others? I can see how that is possible but that would be extremely dissappointing explanation to things. I guess you could say that is why they have guns, security measures, etc. Maybe the "Other Others" are experiments gone bad, basically on the youth, and they sort of separated from themselves from the parents in a lord of the flies type way? Seems kind of cheesy, but I guess that is possible.

I thought it was pretty good. The polar bear bit seemed a bit contrived (maybe there'll be more explanation later), but it was decent.

i'm thinking Locke is liking this new arrangement, being the default "2nd in Command" sans Jack - he gets to be the rescuer and once Jack, Kate and Sawyer are returned Locke will resume his place as camp leader.

i stand corrected.

these flashbacks are starting to become bothersome to me. i think this is why i like "Heroes" a lot - cuz it's Lost without all the flashbacks.

This weeks episode was so boring, I fell asleep. The previews for next week seem to show the next episode will have a little more action.

That's intill the actual episode airs and it's just like every other episode. it was nice to see locke become more like his season 1 self.

Maybe this was touched on somewhere and I missed it, but...

Wouldn't the polar bear have to do with the cages/underwater world wear Kate, Jack and Sawyer are now?
2-3 weeks ago, "Zeke" takes a jab at Sawyer, after Sawyer proclaims to have figured out their contraption, by saying "It only took the bears 2 hours!"

Whatever wacky stuff the Dharma Intiative was doing on the island, they did on the animals as well as people.

As for last night's episode--damn Locke really annoys the hell out of me.

I think that was implied many episodes ago and verified this season. Where Jack is currently, seems to be an underwater hatch, probably where they did testing on sharks, dolphins, etc.

Did the lady who drowned in Season 1, was her body ever recovered?

I am blanking on the lady who drowned in season 1.
I must admit, I was casually interested in season 1, while my wife was already hooked.

But I am sure if I call her, she'll be able to me what the lady was wearing if/when they found the body. She bought both seasons on DVD and is obsessed.

Is it a bad sign when you fall asleep during an episode.

They've managed to suck all the life out of the show.

Not messing with him. Just didn't see it. I'm sorta meh. I would assume that it was a kid's Tonka Truck that the bear ate. Not too much mystery there.

Edit--Now, if it had been an Escalade in the cave, I would've been like whoa!

I grow more and more worried about this show with each passing episode. I agree with whoever said the writers just make up new questions each week rather than answering existing ones. I am really beginning to doubt if the "reveal" will have been at all worth it. The show used to be entertaining but now I just doubt it too much.

Just be patience. When they do finally end the series all your questions will be answer on the grand finale.

It will be no fun watching if we knew everything.

I seriously doubt they will answer all questions. Also, all we're asking for is to get some resolution to storylines, not the whole story.

There was resolution. That back story was to show that Locke screws up a lot, the he has to clean up his messes, and that he's not a killer (he's one of the good one's remember). The back story wasn't in there to tell the story of a marijuana farm and how it gets busted.

No comments on how Ben aka Henry Gale was working in the airport before they took off. That was one thing that I did not see coming.

That was a dream sequence, none of those things happened. If you looked closer you would have seen Hugo as a ticket agent typing in the numbers, Claire & Charlie playing with the baby, and Desmond as a pilot.

LOL. You contradict yourself with that post. "There was resolution." What happened at the weed farm? I must've missed that part. I know why the back story was there.

Also, still not convinced that the button controlled the electromagnetic field?

Raiders is correct - there really wasn't any resolution to Locke's backstory this past episode. all it did was just show that Locke has had occurences of messing things up and for once he decided to make things right.

If the decline in viewership overall is parallel to the decline in this thread (compared to last season), the show is in for a rude awakening sometime soon.
