I scout 21 year old Ugur Tezel. Maybe him? I also scout 26 year old Julián Luque. Both are EU.

I get an offer for Kempf that is 950k. No thanks. His min release clause is 1.8 mil. You want him? Make that offer happen. He’s worth 1 mill so that was under his value

Julián Luque is willing to sign as a backup, so I make him that offer and I hope to hear back from hi soon, I also check in with Ugur Tezel. What would he want? Actually, he doesn’t want to play for us, so nevermind. We’ll go with Luque. I make the 26 year old Spaniard an offer.

I sign Luque for 450/week backup, and he can play MR, ML, AMR, AML, AMC, and ST although that latter one not that well. We have him signed for a year and a half. 3 stars. I replace Zamouri with him in my lineup.

Some weird stuff happened. I figured that in Year 1 I’d finish in the Top Half and then in Year 2 in the 2 or 3 spot for the EURO and then in Year 3 win it all, but instead I underperformed in the first year and overperformed in the second. We skipped the EURO Qual spots altogether, and now we have made it to the Champion’s League! We also finished the goal for biggest club as we didn’t just win a squeaker but we dominated this year.

I begin to look for a new DL. I start by looking at players coming free in a couple of weeks. Youssouf Koné? Not interested. Fabio Eguelfi? Not enough cash. He’s only making 850 not sure why he’d think that. Maybe a youth? Nope. Transfer list? David Juncà from Spain? Luca Bittante from Italy? He is transfer listed for just 15k. He’s 25 and can play a lot of positions. I scout him. Diego Contentois is transfer listed for cheap but not willing to come here.

How about non-EU?

Ghana’s Patrick Asmah is transfer listed by request. Is he interested? I scout him. Brazil’s Lucas Pedro Alves de Lima? Nope not interested. Columbia’s Cristian Borja is transfer listed for 100k and is 26 years old. I scout him. Senegal’s Adama Mbengué has an asking price of 75k. I scout him.
