Kinda fun not having listened to any of the podcasts, this is all blowing my mind.

One thing I did know about was the "best role as" ranking for each player on their scouting report, which is so incredibly useful.

Okay - and now I go into my inbox and start progressing after running thru a bunch of the screens.

LOVE the intro meeting with the board and philosophies they want you to adhere to.

LOVE the interaction with your assistant regarding him walking you through setting up regular reports from the staff and everything. Just feels...real.

This time I changed it to windows mode and got a run time error at the same spot crashing the whole thing. I guess Ill uninstall and try redownloading when I get home

I´m staying well clear of this until christmas break, but am looking forward to hearing your impressions. Not that i expect the game to not be good, but there is no way it is compatible with me having just started studying at a University after years of working.

So how does one play Steam games when you do not have an internet connection?

Lots of cool new things as DT already noted. I've spent the last couple of hours just perusing the new gui.

Normally don't use the white skin but this new "light" not white skin looks ok. As usual with a light skin a bit of a pain to find a color combination for the attribute screen that shows up well. The kicker is it has to work on the light player profile screen and also show up on the grey squad screen. Finally settled on "low to high" black, yellow, green, red in muted shades.

Drug over my logos and mega face pack from v12, both work fine. Now have to refresh my memory on getting the correct competition names and the fake teams taken care of. Do I recall correctly that you just delete all of the files under "inc>all" or is it just the "fake.inc"? Or am I totally forgetting how to do this? And competition names should come out in a file soon from one of the many modders, yes?

Been playing FM since 2006 and still feel overwhelmed when I start a new game with a new version. Two long work days ahead of me probably won't get too far in this 'til at least Sunday.

I had a crash when creating my first game, but tried for a second time following the same steps and all is ok now and i'm playing.

Weird..a little bug there. I selected Man City but before I confirmed (or something), it added me as the manager, so it was basically telling me the team was already taken. Odd, but I'm in! Graphics from 2012 aren't working for me yet though.

Position search by role - sweet. At least if you're not playing LLM.

The transition times between match highlights are so much faster. No more waiting 15 seconds for goal kicks or corners to be taken.

Yeah, the Tax authorities ripped em a new one. Old Glasgow Rangers are dead, this new company has all the rights to the team, but had to ask for readmittance to the Scottish Leagues

Enjoying the game so far. The Director of Football has helped eliminate some of the things I used to find tedious. Love they that they will hire/fire staff as needed. Finding clubs for loaning players to is also nice.

Contract negotiations are a little glitchy so far though. Playing as QPR, tried to sign Royston Drenthe on a free. Offered him about 35K a week over 5 years, with a high signing bonus. He passed and signed for a Polish club for 2K a week over 5 years. Nothing major and I am sure things like that will get fixed soon enough.

The match engine seems much smoother.

Haven't really dug into the new training set up yet either.

let it create the new folder called graphics and you should be good to go. Just make sure to go into "interface" in the preferences menu and uncheck "use caching" and then you can check "reload upon confirm" and then you can just confirm and/or reload skin and then you can actually recheck "use caching" once you verify the pictures have loaded.
