Is Michigan taken? If not, I'll take them I guess.

Whoops...sorry man, I completely missed your post. Florida is yours. I'll take Oregon

NP bud. Cool, I'll take Florida then, and you got Oregon. So Michigan is open then? I'll go to the league site and change my team name from Michigan to Florida.

Good luck fellas.

Well, if I had to pick a starting lineup today, here it would be.........

QB Rex Grossman (Bears)
RB Ciatrick Fason (Vikings)
RB Fraud Taylor (Jags)
WR Reche Caldwell (Chargers)
WR Travis Taylor (Vikings) OR Jabar Gaffney (Texans)
TE Erron Kinney (Titans)
K Jeff Chandler (Redskins)
D Lito Sheppard (Eagles)
D Jevon Kearse (Eagles)
D Ellis Johnson (Broncos)

I don't know, it looks ok to me, but it's early, and it could start to look bad in a hurry.

Just got back into town late Sunday night but I have been making roster moves to kick guys off my team so other teams can pick them up. You can only release up to the number that it takes to field a team so you kindof have to plan it out. I'll have the Domers starting lineup in the next day or two.

Thanks for the bump, I hadn't realized we had drafted already...

You know, though, I like the looks of my team as it is. Screw Penn State...

I don't know if I missed the reasoning in this thread... but would it be possible to allow a third receiver instead of a second back?

I think at this point, with everyone now having a handle on how their teams look, making retroactive changes to the structure is a poor idea. I set it up in advance... now that everyone has a tentative roster in mind, I think there's too much opportunity for "well, this rule change would benefit me, so..."

So, I intend to leave things as they are. I think the more depth we allowed, the more we'd end up benefitting the very good schools. That is/was the general rationale for keeping the weekly starting lineup looking, more or less, like an old-school fantasy league roster. I think this will work for our purposes.

Hey Quik, can the commish alter rosters in this league? If so, I need...

Florida State to release QB Kerry Collins and K David Kimball and Florida to release RB Larry Johnson.

I'm hoping I can count on people to do it themselves... but if need be, I think I can do it as commish. I'm just not looking to spend a whole lot of time making cuts on everyone's behalf. Honestly, this league doesn't require a whole lot of work... I'm hoping that "picking your team" won't be asking too much.

Cool, thanks. There's plenty of time until the season start so I really shouldn't be getting so antsy...

Yes, do an 'add and replace' to add a player and dump a player at the same time to stay at the minimum.

Apparently the site only lets you do a certain number of add/drops in a certan period of time? I'm working on getting all the non-Florida players off my roster. Please be patient guys, and sorry for the delay. I just started doing it last night.

Can the commisioner change those roster minumum settings & add/drops? That could help on several levels.

I can't find any place to alter those settings, sorry. I made sure that there were no limits in add/drops in the things that I was able to actually set myself -- but this looks like it is out of my control (or else it was something that had to be set before the draft, and I just missed it). Sorry...

The only limit I had when I cut players was that I had to keep a group of players equal to the number of starting positions. I so I would cut 6 players add 6 of my players and so on.
