I live about 20 minutes from CBP. I can tell you that it's been raining pretty much all day, but has only been heavy in spots. I think it's still game-on, but I'm not sure yet.

If there is a more obvious looking INT than what Threet just through, I would accuse them of playing catch.

Apparently South Florida has no running game, and it costs them against Louisville. Sigh.

That was a hell of a game!

I'm very worried about going to Lubbock next week to face Texas Tech. Not sure how much the Horns have left in the tank after the past three weeks.

I really wish it had been on TV here. I was hoping for another upset, but hell, this is Oklahoma State we're talking about. I'm relatively happy with a 4 point loss. I really wish we didn't have to go to Lubbock as well.

Assuming RU can hold on they have 3 of 4 at home to close out and 6-6 a real possibility, which considering how the season began that would make me eccstatic.

Texas is the best team and best coached team in the Big XII right now. I'm sure that Muschamp will have a good defensive scheme against TT's offense.

Wabash sits all alone at the top of the conference with a 45-24 beat down of second place Wooster. That runs our conference undefeated streak to 15 and with only Oberlin and Hiram left we should get to the big Monon Bell game undefeated. We're still not in the league of Mt. Union or UW-Whitewater, but we may get a #1 seed in the D3 tourny.

Congrats on beating a team that Toledo beat, appears to be looking at a possible two wins all season, and needed a near miracle comeback to even get the one. Honestly, it's kind of funny how big chested MSU and fans have been about beating Michigan this year. The fact remains that MSU is 1-6 against U of M in the past 7 years. I can't even begin to imagine how much of a suicide watch was happening for State fans when Michigan was winning.

Maryland won 27-24 in our homecoming game over NC State. I hate it when we play NC State for homecoming, with both teams being red/black. It poured pretty much from the 2nd quarter on, badly enough that even though my phone was in the pocket of my waterproof jacket (admittedly, the pocket isn't waterproof, but it was still fairly well-protected), it got completely wet and needed to be replaced.

Glad we won, but what a freaking nuisance. Seriously, I've been going to Terps games since I started at Maryland back in fall '97, and today's game was easily the worst weather I've ever been in at a game.

2 hours......that was the over/under for people being able to watch without turning it off. Neither team wants to win this game. Both are playing not to lose and it's making the Big 10 look like they're 45 years behind the times.

The refs fucking screwed us out of a game.

First, we recover the onside after scoring to make it 23-21 and the refs say it's out of bounds.

Petrino steps up with the challenge flag and it's properly overturned.

Next play, Hog WR makes a catch and the refs throw a bullshit Offensive PI call.

Next play, there's fucking defensive PI out the ass, but do the fucking queerbait zebras call it?!

Of course not!!!

Bullshit man, fucking bullshit.

Course, we had our chances in the game to knock them out, but stupid mistakes cost us.

Thrilling ending, but damned frustrating.

So, Penn State pulls it out. Should be a pretty moderate schedule down the stretch for PSU. Iowa and Michigan St. should cause some problems, but it's looking really good for a 12-0 finish.

PSU's defense looked top notch there. So, of course, did Ohio State's. Great defensive battle up there in Columbus.

Yeah, great team PSU has this season, they're the class of the field right now. tOSU is a close second but they're just a little inexperienced on offense.

Kudos to PSU for sitting Clark. It's good to see a program put a game at risk in order to protect the health of a star player.

Good game Buckeyes.

Clark couldn't answer some basic questions like where he was and what date it was...thats why he wasnt let back in.

This is all correct. The offensive pass interference was complete bullshit. It was called by an out of position referee as well, while the referee on the play made no call. The replay clearly showed nothing even remotely like pass interference. Would've been easily within game-winning field goal range with plenty of time for several shots at the end zone.

Fuck that.

In D2, Seton Hill crushes conference doormat Concord by a score of 31-0. I was at the game, and it was pretty boring. Seton Hill is now 8-1 overall and 5-1 in conference. Next week, they travel to a fairly weak Fairmont State team, and then they return home for a grudge match with West Liberty. Former Virginia Tech RB Branden Ore plays for West Liberty now, and he's one of the top backs in the conference this year.

There's some bad blood between West Liberty and Seton Hill after last year's meeting, due to some accusations of SHU players urinating on WL's field before the game, WL players showboating (backflips in the end zone, etc.) after touchdowns, and a SHU player stomping on a downed WL player on the sideline late in the game. West Liberty won last year's game 70-43, and this year's game may have the conference title on the line.

Of course, that's two weeks away. Fairmont is next. I fully expect Seton Hill to crush the Fairmont State Fighting Falcons next week. I'm amped for the showdown with West Liberty.
