Dubb, I knew there was a reason I liked you in this game. Glad to see that I have an ally in hating the random number generator. Still not looking to vote yet. I don't see any reason in the rules to get in early. And with Day 1 being pretty random I would like to take my time and see what may develop. |

A yak and a goat. Anyone know who here likes goats? That would lead us to a demon if you do.

If 2d6 becomes the random number generator of choice I will request the last slot for all games going forward.

that's not what i said, and not what i did I rolled 1 die once to determine a group of 6 (1-2 = 1-6, 3-4 = 7-12, and 5-6 = 13-18), then tossed it again to pick one in that group. I think that should have worked just fine. |

Well almost consideirng that whichever group you were in had a slightly better chance of being chosen as you would not vote for yourself.

In that case, I had planned on starting again with the first roll, which I think makes it a 1/17 chance ... I still don't see anything else to go on. |

SnDvls, do you have any inkling how the altar vs pentagram would help us in the game? I agree with your premise, just not sure how to apply it in a pro-human manner.

id be betting its just how coffee differentiates the good(stone alter) from bad(blood laden pentagram)...from that id take our guy did the yak, theirs the goat, and id assume from hes writing ours was more the the elementals liking though thats pure speculation...i think, until our druid comes out and tells us(which i hope he never does as the bad guys will kill him), the meaning of all this remain a secret. Honestly, id just hope the yak was what the elementals wnated and go about day one, as coffee made it clear in the rules even if we did gain favor it would only be known to those involved(druid/warlock i presume). Just hope our guy does a good job picking animals

i thought i missed something huge when i saw the number of posts since the last time i checked the thread, too bad most of it was about shooting craps. at the risk of being accused later of piling on late, i am going to hold off my random number generator generated vote until a bit more yaking (pun intended) goes on since we have more than a day until the deadline.

Not for another 24 hours. Long ass vote, due to the fact that everyone got their night actions in so early last night.

Well, that makes me a little uncomfortable. I don't like my first day vote to really count for anything. I don't like having a hand in the first day kill, as it's almost always someone innocent.

Question. While I'm not going to change the deadline this time around, would you rather I monkey'd with the deadlines if the night actions go through early? Always gonna keep a 24 hour day, but, if like last night night actions get to me at 9pm, do a 24 hour run from there. Or, stick to the current more rigid schedule?
Only reason I'm hesistant to make it a quasi 'roving' schedule is the fact that a "standard" 9am to 9pm night action window seems like it'd be more convenient than a 9pm to 9am run. Lemme know what ya'll think there. |

After rereading it (thanks to whoever pointed out the stone altar and the pentagram thing), I think the yak may have been a winner.
